Christian Missionary Role In India - 6 - acharya - 07-18-2006 Alert Hindus foil missionaries mass conversion plan Posted on 01 July, 2006 We need such alert Hindus everywhere. - Editor A special prayer meeting was organized by Christians at Ganesh Mangal Karyalaya, Saat Raste in the city. Hindu organizations got the wind of their plan to convert Hindus in the said meeting. Members of these organizations attending the meeting were infuriated with the speakers criticizing Hindu religion and they thwarted the program. Christians were going door to door and making propaganda of the said meeting. They were trying to impress upon Hindus that how Christianity is superior to Hindu religion. All the Hindu organizations came to know about the propaganda and held a meeting realizing the seriousness of the matter and decided to put a stop to such activities. During the meeting of Christians, Father Agnel who had come from Mumbai for the meeting said that Hindu religion and all the mantras recited were meaningless. Similar statements were made against Hindu religion. Before conclusion of the program, permission was sought to ask questions to the organizers but initially they were not allowed. Still due to the pressure brought by other staunch Hindus, some time was given to ask questions. When questions were being asked about the objectionable matters, the missionaries were trying to interrupt. However, looking at the vehemence of the staunch Hindus, father Agnel ran away. Other organizers also had no answers to many objectionable statements from the Bible and made a quick exit. The Hindu organizations warned that all the efforts of Christians to forcefully convert Hindus will not be tolerated. The District-Chief of Shiv Sena and other staunch Hindus were instrumental in foiling the efforts of Christians. Source: Dainik Sanatan Prabhat Christian Missionary Role In India - 6 - acharya - 07-18-2006 Friday, June 23, 2006 Is it too late to save Hindus? The first step is to recognise that in some ways it may be too late to save Hindus. But let's allow hope to triumph over experience for a moment and pretend it is not and address some germane issues randomly. 1. Hindus must first start thinking straight about Islamo-Christian imperialism against them, which only a very, very few seem capable of doing. One of these very few was Aurobindo and there has been virtually no one since. The movement has not been capable of doing so for a very long time and one needs to hear compelling reasons why this is about to change if that is being suggested by anyone. 2. The movement's supreme leaders have done everyone a great favour by publicly embracing Jinnah (and subsequently refusing to let go) since it has destroyed all accumulated illusions about them in one go among Hindus. The argument that Jinnah was once secular in order to exculpate him for mass murder (not least in Calcutta in 1946) is the same as saying many Nazis were perfectly alright because they once socialised with Jews though they later proceeded to burn them alive. Yeah, this is the level of intelligence and capability of the leaders of the movement when they are not busy promoting their own private and family interests through the blood, sweat and tears of long suffering Hindus. 3. Can anyone tell us what the leaders of the movement have done for Kashmiri Pandits except to use their plight cynically to further their own personal interests in politics? Just bear in mind, Kashmiri Pandits have suffered the very fate one is discussing and the response to their situation reveals what will happen when the same endgame begins to destroy any other Hindu group - though it already has also happened to pretty much all Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh. So, the precedents are unerring. Thus, the failure to protect Kashmiri Hindus, the MOST IMPORTANT common issue facing all Hindus in the world today, tells us what WILL NOT happen when Hindus are ethnically cleansed from their homes, murdered and their women abducted. 4. Let's also recall that the biggest rascal over the Jinnah episode has been restored all favours in the movement after a short period of pretence excluding him. Well, he is eminently suitable as an enemy of all Hindus since he has publicly, and in the presence of the movement's intelligentsia, vociferously denounced the very idea of a Hindu constituency. Those of you who were present at the conclave, as I was, will no doubt remember. 5. The movement is in the thrall of two 'nominally' Hindu business empires originating outside India. They and a third are known to have been intimate with Dawood Ibrahim, which logic suggests creates something of a conundrum. In effect, Hindu leaders are therefore indirectly 'taking orders' from the single biggest killer of Hindus since Nadir Shah. If all this is suddenly going to change Hindus need to know why and how since such dramatic transformations tend not to happen in the real world. 6. I am confident that the movement (though not all of it) will reach an understanding with Islam and Christianity since both are willing to pay and can do so unlike Hindus, who are all too busy queuing up for green cards. So, let's now busy ourselves signing petitions, which is a pathetic sign of defeat though I will sign them too like everyone else. 7. Hindus have been responsible for some primordial failures that undermine their claim to being described as human. The first task of a people (i.e. their men, in the main) is to protect one's women and the second, to defend their children. As a corollary, this also requires the defence of territory because that becomes a practical necessity. Historically, Hindu men have failed in these imperative tasks again and again, constantly fleeing and surrendering, which they did in 1940 in the face of Muslim pogroms in Dacca during 1940, abandoning their women to captors as they fled to Tripura. Others prefer to die rather than do so, which makes most Hindus magnificently unique. 8. Just in case there are any doubts about how this is done, even against overwhelmingly superior arms, watch the murderous Iraqi 'insurgents'. They have no compunction drilling holes in the eyes and limbs of alleged or real collaborators, including 12 year-old children, before putting them out of their misery by decapitating them with blunt instruments, though apparently not in one clean sweep. 9. No, I don't recommend this, but only point it out to underline the standards of behaviour that actually prevail in the world we live in - not the make-believe one Hindus love. And the Americans shoot entire families, including babies, in decisions that are obviously the product of high policy since it keeps happening. In case you are unaware, every Vietnamese woman who fell into American hands during the war suffered rape and many had small snakes inserted into their lower bodies (read the Russell Tribunal Report if you are wondering where this idiot academic finds his information). The world is too horrible a place evidently for 'goody-goody' Hindus whose idea of bad behaviour seems to be a spot of 'white-collar' crime like theft! 10. So, how far are Hindus willing to go? They will go to the cinema hall or rent a DVD of Bollywood movies (the biggest Islamic-controlled industry in the world, oil apart), many featuring semi-pornographic dancing, almost exclusively by Hindu women. This tradition of dancing, which Hindu families are desperate to give their daughters up to, originally became embedded in Indian society as a result of the enforced prostitution of captive Rajput princesses. They were forced to gyrate before being picked by the Muslim conquerors who watched them as records of the mass suicides and complaints by Hindu women highlight. This is of course a great Muslim tradition and the infamous Timur, who drowned India in blood, forced one early Ottoman emperor's queen to serve naked at his table after defeating her husband in battle. He died of seizure while forced to watch from a cage though he was quite young. GS Christian Missionary Role In India - 6 - acharya - 07-18-2006 When a Hindu converts 6/20/2006 5:18:06 AM Mohan Gupta "Every man going out of the Hindu pale is not only a man less but also an enemy the more". Swami Vivekanand In June 17 people were arrested in Canada on the suspicion of being terrorists. One of the terrorists arrested, allegedly plotted to behead the Canadian prime Minister, was a Canadian citizen who was soldier for four years and likely received weapons training. The Toronto Star learned that Steven Vikash was a member of the Royal Regiment of Canada, a reservist unit that meets in Toronto. Chand who was a Hindu from Caribbean origin. He is Indo-Trinidadian as most of the accused are either from The Caribbean or are South Asians, largely from Pakistan and Bangladesh., who later converted to Islam, is charged with belonging to a terrorist group, receiving training and recruiting or training others to participate in terrorist activities. Chand was one of the 17 suspects arrested as part of a massive police raid. They were accused of being members of an alleged homegrown terrorist cell, plotting attacks in Canada. Steven Vikas Chand, a welfare recipient and basement suite dweller, was better known for roaming East Toronto public schools trying to persuade students to convert to Islam â a path he took himself. Mr. Chand was born in Canada into a Hindu family but converted to Islam in his early 20s and changed his name to Abdul Shakur. Little is known about what drove Mr. Chand to convert to Islam. His parents are divorced and Mr. Chandâs acquaintances say the spilt in family troubled him. Whatever his motivation to switch his religion, Mr. Chand is a devoted Muslim. He prays two or threes times a week at the Salaheddin Islamic Centre in Scarborough, a mosque attended up by four of the other suspects picked up in terrorist bust, said the mosqueâs Imam Aly Hindy. Mr. Chand also wanted to spread the faith. He spent two or three days a week going to local schools, distributing free Islamic books and written material s about Islam and encouraging school aged children to become Muslims, said Mohammed ally, his one friend from the mosque. Two of the youths charged in the arrests of 17 persons were converted to Islam recently according to friends from Stephen Leacock Collegiate institute in Scarborough. Both converts were Hindus, one was of Tamil origin. Mohsin Attique 17, son of his landlord said to Globe and Mail newspaper that he believed that Mr. Chand had a tense relationship with his family, partly by his religious conversion. It has been noted when a person converts to any Semitic religion, then the converted person does not only convert religion but also converts culture, religion, language, forefathers. If a converted person is from Hindu religion, then that person donât only convert his / her religion but also want to destroy Hindu religion, culture, Bharatiya languages. He/ she breaks idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses or deface it by all demeaning ways. Islamic extremists have embraced one element, âThe global struggle.â Now individuals in Canada, like the London bombers seems to be associating themselves with a cause outside their territory. Not only are non-Arab Muslims but are also other Muslims particularly from South and Central Asia and Somalis rally to the global Jihad call. Increasingly Indians / European Muslim converts are embracing jihad. As the jihad outreach expands, so too does the target list. Terrorists do not care even in destroying the social fabric of a tolerant and open society like Canada and Bharat. If one glances at Islam religion deeply, one would find that most of the terrorist activities are carried out by Muslims. Usually it is said that only a part of the Muslim society carry out terrorist activities, but the rest of the overall Muslim society is peaceful. One wonders why Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Parses, and many other societies do not produce such small amount of bad people who carry our terrorist activities. It does not matter how much you provoke a Hindu society, even then the small section of the society does not become terrorists. Some years ago a research was conducted about the battles going on in the world. At that time it was found out there were about 80 small of large battles or conflicts were going on in the world. Out of these numbers, there was not even a single battle of conflict where Muslims were not involved. Either both the parties were Muslims in the conflict or at least one party was Muslim. âReligious conversion destroys centuries-old communities and incites communal violence. It is violence, and it breeds violence and destruction.â Achla Sharma, is head of BBC Hindi service. She is a Hindu but has married a Muslim. The language of Muslims is Urdu, while the language of Hindus is Hindi. After conversion Achla Sharma has adopted Urdu, though she is employed in Hindi service. Due to her influence Achla Sharma has converted BBC Hindi service into Urdu service. While proper Hindi words are available, even then most of the time, BBC Hindi service prefers to use Urdu words. Not only that, Achla Sharma got job for Javed Ansari, a Muslim and relative of her Muslim husband. Javed Ansari does not know Hindi at all. Recently there was a program in BBC Hindi service about Kind of education given by Talibans in Pakistan. This program was almost 100% in Urdu, in which Hindi knowing person cannot understand at all. Many times BBC Hindi service is converted into Urdu service. See the effect of conversion of a Hindu to Islam. Converted person still earns money on the name of Hindi, but at the same time wants to destroy Hindi and promote Urdu, the language of her converted religion. A Muslim is a person, who by birth or by choice became a follower of Islam. Islam is a set of beliefs propounded by Prophet Mohammad who claimed the angel Gabriel told him the Quran, the word of God. The compilation of such verses from Mohammad's mouth became Quran as it exists today. As said in Quran itself, there are two versions of Quran, the one exists in heaven and another that exists in earth. The one exists in earth is compiled by Khalifa Uthman. Muslims are told these things from their birth till they die. Quran and the story of Mohammad (called Hadiths) are expounded day in day out in the Muslim media. Even scientists are writing that Quran has scientific truths that an illiterate Mohammad could not have known. And their writings are constantly published in the media as the proof of "God's Work". Islam was spread by both the sword and teachings. Miracle workers called Sufi saints spread Islam in places where other religions like Hinduism reigned. Muslim Kings captured vast areas of earth and converted the people into Islam. Except in India, wherever Muslim kings ruled, that land became Islamic. Even in India, Bengal, Kashmir, Sindh, Punjab, Afghanistan became majority Muslim areas due to the forcible conversion of local Hindus into Muslims. In other places, where Muslim kings were not there, the Sufi saints and Muslim preachers converted the local people into Muslims. History is history. Some of the forefathers of the current generation converted by preaching and some others converted by force. There is no need to go back to that and feel bitter about it. Many Hindus feel bitter about this. They view the Muslims are brothers who started fighting Hindus just because the remaining did not convert to Islam and Muslims think that Hindus are still in old "polytheist" ways and they need to convert to Islam. Make no mistake about this. Muslims strongly feel that their religion is the correct one and Hinduism is primitive religion. And Hindus feel that Hinduism is a "natural and eternal" religion, which did not have a human founder. And Many Hindus believe rightly that all the rivers lead to the same ocean and hence there is no need to fight over which river to take to reach the ocean. People move from one church to the other with some fluidity, so, for eg, i was part of an orthodox group, now am part of a "protestant" church, and have many Catholic inputs, too. Apart from the regular churches, there are many Christian organisations which are not churches, but are set up for specific aims, such as educational, social work, evangelism, and so on. For example: did you know that the word 'pardees' was imported from Persia's Zoroastrianism? It has no meaning in Hebrew, because it was copied from the ancient language of the Persians - where 'Paradaiza' <i>does</i> have a meaning (if you know Samskrit you can figure out what this means) and refers to Zoroastrian 'heaven'. And did you know that the word Hell comes from the Germanic underworld? And that Gehenna is Jerusalem's garbage dump? And that Tartarus is a famous part of Greek Mythology? And that Hades is the name of the God of the Greek Underworld as well as the underworld itself? So that begs the question, where does a non-Christian who refuses to accept Christ or a Christian sinner go after death? And where does a good Christian go? Christian Missionary Role In India - 6 - Guest - 07-21-2006 I wonder if the problem is that we tend to see ourselves as being part of one religion, with others as our enemies. Maybe it is better to see ourselves as human beings, and being aware that all human beings down the ages have been mean and cruel to each other, whatever their religious tag. Some are cruel to their own people, some are cruel to people outside "their" community/ religion. Europeans conquered and exploited Indians (of all religions) and Indians conquered and exploited each other. Americans invaded Iraq, and Iraq invaded Kuwait. Men oppress and rape women, amd women manipulate men. Christians burnt witches, and Hindus burnt widows, and Muslims burnt down WTCs. Christians ordered doctrine-based inquisitions, Hindus and Muslims order caste-based / honour- based killings. None of us can, IMO, take the high moral ground, because humans have failed miserably at living morally...everywhere. Yet in our desperation to feel good about ourselves, each group claims it is holy and pure, and others are to blame for everything. So Hindus blame Christians and Muslims, Muslims blame Hindus and Christians, Christians blame Hindus and Muslims and on and on, ad nauseum. Well, my suggestion is that we should get out of that vicious cycle. All people have done lousy things, whatever the religious tag they bear. Most of the time, those who do these crazy violent acts don't know the first thing about God. Right?
