The victimâs mother and local residents allegedly caught hold of the accused and thrashed him at the madrassa, after they came to know of the incident, police said.

The heat of Elections is on. Election Trumpets sounds in high pitch. This is the season of the Political Parties. All of them are in the battle field. But the season is not only made for them. This season creates opportunity for others also.
For example, this is a lucrative season for the advertisement agencies. The business grows abundantly for election materials like banners , hoardings, posters, flexes, key-rings etc. etc. And the season is equally ripe for those minority goons, who have been keeping their eyes upon the Hindu women and girls very with an insatiable desire or lust.
The purpose behind it is two dimensional. First, the Abduction of Hindu girls and women for nikaha, i.e. marriage with Muslims to fulfill personal pleasure; secondly to traffic them to other states or abroad as a lucrative trade. And obviously, ensure a ticket for the voyage to Jannat (Islamic paradise) by dint of virtue for converting, hence spoiling a Hindu women (this is best if she is a Hindu virgin)- a kaffir as per Quranic dictum. This can be done at any time. But this is de time la carte, for deriving more advantages in this election season. No leader, political party and peers groups will be able to raise even the little finger towards our minority brothers for such pious activities, let alone call it a pure crime. If the Police puts a feeble effort to arrest them, we level it immediately as an attack towards minority, and therefore, communal. Under the veil of a Democracy inter-alias Votecracy , we are bound to protect our Muslims as the priceless symbol of the minority status-a pride of self-proclaimed pseudo-secular democracy. The political leaders are bound to take the side of minorities to ensure their support as a vote-bank. As this secret spreads open all round the corner, the police do nothing but shamelessly indulging the hooligans. As a result, the Hindu girls are abducted or trafficked regularly in this season. Majority of them are minors. Their beleaguered parents are roaming from door to door, helplessly, with moistening eyes. The parents do not dare to convey their pain to the leaders of political parties at the face of their ânot so important â-secular gesture. These victims are finally find no other way but to appeal those Muslims, those culprits, marauders to get back their girls at the last resort. And it is the eventuality that those Muslim gangsters kick the Hindu parents out with an ultimatum to cut them into pieces and threaten them of more such dire consequences of their family, if they go any further.
As the election slogans are roaring high in the air, a series of news of abduction of Hindu girls and women are coming profusely from the villages of West Bengal every day to our central office of Hindu Samhati. If we want to weave the incidents together in an overall back-drop of election scenario of rural Bengal, we can only hear a heart rendering wailing, sobs and cry, sounded with formidable alacrity. And the wail, the pain, the suffering are now being suppressed and erased by the louder sound of the election drums.
Under such prevailing circumstances, no Political Party would likely to come forward to protect the dignity of Hindus. Nobody will express the human desire to fight for the existence of the hapless Hindus. It is our firm resolution. Therefore, we confirm, there is no endeavour to protect the persecuted Hindus or rescue the Hindu girls from the Muslim goons at any level. So, Hindu Samhati (HS), on behalf of the full strength of our organization, vows not to support any political party in the ensuing Election to the House of the People. We and the local workers of HS will decide to vote the Candidates or the Political Parties upon their attitude and attributes reflected to the cause of Hindus. We should realize that this Election is not the last one. We have to prepare for the post-election phase. That may be more fatal for the Hindus. But we have to fight for Hindus till the last breath. The protection of Hindus is our ultimate aim, our only goal, our sole mission.

The author Mr.Mukul Kesavan suffers from two of the characteristics of liberal Indian journalists:
1. A selective treatment of facts. For example, in speaking about the events of Kandamahal in 2008, he mentions the situation of the Christian population there, but omits certain important facts.
They are : the horrific murder of an 80 year old Swami, a Hindu nun, their associates ( and even a child, according to some reports) and that too at an Ashram, hitherto considered sacred ground.
This heinous act was committed by masked gunmen, subsequently identified as Christian Maoists(whatever that oxymoron might stand for!).
(Dr Vijay is wrong. "Christian maoists" is not an oxymoron, it is a duplication. It literally means "christian christians".)
The Hindu response can be understood in this context. As well, that for years, the Christian tribal converts, had been oppressing the Hindu tribals, and recently even stealing their land by clever subterfuges instigated by the missionaries. This included their passing themselves off as Scheduled Tribes, entitled to reservations and affirmative action by the Government of India, a status they lost upon conversion.
The negative activities of the Christian missionaries, most sponsored by foreign outfits, is well known. This includes not only the above but the systematic denigration of the indigenous religion of India, Hinduism. Clearly, a continuation of their activities during colonial rule, when missionaries stood at street corners and abused the indigenous religion.
2. Secondly, Mr. Kesavan, like many of his liberal peers has a barely concealed contempt for the indigenous religion and culture of the Indian subcontinent. This elitism is revealed by his systematic denial of the fact that the majority population of India, comprised of millions upon millions of everyday Indians, are Hindus.
<b>All this is concealed by a supposed attack (however muted, as it is in his case) on Hindutva.
The real target is Hinduism.</b>

In December last year, All India Khwaja Gharib Nawaz Council, a Sufi organisation, led a peace march to Parliament, holding placards that read: âIslam says killing of one innocent is killing of humanity. Sufi Corridor can play an important role in establishing peace and unity.â
Despite the overly idealistic veneer, it marks an important milestone in the fight against Islamic terrorism. The Sufis in India are low profile but number close to 10 crore and their religious centres are spread across the country (see map).
The movement to create a Sufi Corridor of peace is therefore a nationwide movement. Several Sufi scholars and saints belonging to various dargahs and khanqahs (Islamic seminaries) had gathered in Delhi recently to formally identify the corridor which stretches from Kashmir to Kerala, Gujarat to West Bengal.
The objective of the movement is to connect all Sufi centres with a view to uniting people against terrorism and try and prevent attacks at places sacred to both Hindus and Muslims. Sufism is based on the principle that âall people are the children of God on earthâ.

Their philosophy has been to return hatred with love, violence with affection. So far it has largely been Sufi music which has found national resonance. Now, its religious leaders are hoping to do the same with their anti-terror campaign.
This is, in fact, the first-ever attempt to create a kind of civic organisation outside the boundaries of the political establishment to fight terrorism.
The idea behind the initiative, according to internationally revered Sufi Syed Muhammad Jilani Ashraf Kichhauchhvi, a direct descendent of Prophet Mohammad, who heads the Sufi Foundation, Spiritual Foundation and Sufi University, and who was also part of the Delhi conference, is to connect all the famous dargahs and khanqahs, numbering close to 400, and reinforce the message of Sufism (Muslim mysticism) which, in strictly religious terms means cleansing of mind and heart to help acquire the knowledge of God, but in the current context is really to do with the brotherhood of man and coming together to fight terrorism.
Following the bomb explosions at the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer Sharif on October 11, 2007, Maulana Jilani Ashraf, popularly known as Jilani Baba, made spiritual tours to different parts of the country to awaken and unite the Sufis.
The Ajmer blast was preceded by the bomb blast at Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad on May 11, which killed 11 people. In fact, 10 days before the Delhi Sufi conference, Uttar Pradesh was rocked by serial bomb blasts in Lucknow, Faizabad and Varanasi civil courts.
These blasts, once again, coincided with the Friday prayers and claimed 14 lives. Shaken by these incidents, Sufis decided to come out of their âhujrasâ (meditation chambers or prayer cells) to play the role they have historically played in spreading the message of Islam and creating a composite culture in India.
The Sufis, led by Jilani Baba, set up the Khwaja Gharib Nawaz Council (now renamed as the Sufi Federation of India) to bring all Sufis on a single platform and draw a road-map to unite Hindus and Muslims against the dangers of terrorism.
Prominent Sufi leaders from all across the country are part of the initiative. The Sufis and their followers plan to set out on a spiritual voyage asking the people to be aware of their religious and civic duty in strengthening society to identify and condemn terrorist activities which are the handiwork of only a handful of misguided and mischievous elements and are totally against the spirit of Islam.
By October this year a chain of Sufi shrines would be created which would in turn create a ring of followers who would carry the message of peace and unity. These local-level rings would connect with each other to form a larger, nationwide chain the sole aim of which would be to promote peace and brotherhood among faiths.
The progress of the corridor would be reviewed and the future course of action would be worked out at a conference in Bangalore in October this year. Sufis say this approach would work at two levelsâit would help the government and its agencies counter terrorism and it would create awareness among the people about the larger threat posed by terrorist groups.
This concept of Sufi Corridor is also seen as the next step to the setting up of the Sufi University that was aimed at reviving the concept of mysticism.
Though most of the orthodox schools of Islamic thought have rejected Sufism as un-Islamic, their message and following has grown, cutting across regions and faiths. Apart from their numbersâthe Sufi Foundation of India estimates there are over 10 crore Sufi followers in the countryâthe greatest contribution of Muslim Sufi saints is the creation of a composite culture in India dating back to the 13th century with the arrival of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer Sharif.
This helped blunt the edge of Hindu-Muslim prejudices by forging solidarity and brotherhood among these two communities.
The movement has been supported by key Hindu religious leaders. âSants follow the path of peace, love and nonviolence. So the campaign launched by Sufis against terrorism must be supported by all. It might help trace the roots of terrorism and destroy it forever. All the saints and sadhus of Ayodhya support this initiative,â says Acharya Satyendra Das, chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya.

However, Maulana Khalid Rasheed, president, Ulema Council of India and member, All India Muslim Personal Law Board, remains sceptical. âSome Muslim leaders and scholars have started a wrong trend to claim that they are against terrorism. This creates suspicion that the community is feeling guilty.Terrorism has nothing to do with any religion. We saw âterrorismâ when the Babri Masjid was destroyed. There is Maoist terrorism across the country. There is Israeli terrorism in Palestine.
Iraq also faces terrorism. The movement will succeed only when Hindus and Muslims campaign together,â says Rasheed. This is what actually Sufis are striving to achieveâto bring together the followers of all religions in their collective fight against terrorism. And not everyone subscribes to Rasheedâs reservations.
âWe know there is no bigger traitor than the one who tries to question the faith of the Islamic community. Such protests by the community can be a fitting reply to the miscreants, something that even the Government cannot give,â says Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal.
Despite the sceptics, any initiative against terrorism is to be welcomed, especially when it is undertaken by Muslims and, in particular Sufis, who ultimately have the right credentials to promote peace.

Islamic fundamentalists have issued threats to police officers, who were suspended following the firing at Thiruvananthapuram on May 17, which resulted in six deaths.
The deaths have created a furor in Kerala, and the state government has ordered the suspension of six police officials, in the wake of wide-spread public resentment against the erring policemen.
The Popular Front, which is the new incarnation of the National Development Front, is believed to responsible for issuing threats to the police officers. The Home Ministry has decided to provide protection to the police officials.
Popular Front state president Nasaruddin Elamaram, while addressing a meeting in Kannur, had called for strict action against the erring police officers.
Sources in the Home Ministry indicated that supporters of Elamaram might have issued the threats.
Top officials of the Kerala police defended the suspended policemen, claiming they had taken action against a group of miscreants, who were about to attack a church near Cheriathura beach, to prevent a major communal riot in the state .
However, the state government has suspended the police officials and decided to provide government jobs to family members of the victims.
While the Popular Front had demanded a compensation amount of Rs 25 lakh for the families of the victims, the government has agreed to provide Rs 10 lakh.
The government's attempts at damage control are being perceived by some as the Left Democratic Front's attempts to project itself as a saviour of the minority community.

Angered over the way trainees were being treated, Jasim and Hooti had discouraged Fahim from joining the training. However, Fahim went ahead and felt that both were wrong about the training. I think Indian Government is pulling big stunt, to keep public thinking they are doing something. But Mohammed Abdur Ali, a local CPM leader and his associates have planned to set up a country liquor shop in the ashram campus capturing the ashram room for coaching students and the dispensary just by flexing their muscle power.
The local Muslim goons, led by the CPM leader Abdur Ali, attacked Swamiji with iron rods and lathis and tied him with a tree before stripping him off his saffron robes and beat him mercilessly till he became senseless. This ghastly scene was witnessed by hundreds of local people as the attack was made by the Muslim goons in the morning. But none came forward to save Swamiji fearing reprisal from the local Muslim goons sheltered by the CPM bosses. The two successive barbaric incidents and complete police inaction led to a panic among peace-loving Hindus all over West Bengal. AHMEDABAD: Taking swift action, the Surat police succeeded in nabbing all the three accused in a kidnapping and gang rape case within hours of the crime.
According to the Surat Police Commissioner, Deepak Swaroop, two of the accused turned out to be sons of police personnel, the father of one being posted in Surat itself and the other being recently transferred to Banaskantha district in north Gujarat.
<b>The police said the victim of the gang rape, a 17-year old girl from a well-do-do family in the city,</b> was going to tuition classes early in the morning on Friday accompanied by a boyfriend when the accused in a car approached them.
The accused introduced themselves as policemen and told the duo that they would have to be taken to the police station for indecency in the public as they had been found in a "compromising position" under a fly-over. The two were forced into the car and were taken to the outskirts of the city where the boy was tied to a tree and the girl gang-raped in the car and later abandoned on the roadside.

The 17-year-old class XII student was going to tuition classes along with a friend when three people tricked her into a car near Civil Hospital crossroads at 5.30 am.
Worse, the entire crime was captured by the culprits on a cell phone, with the idea of blackmailing the victim.
Surat police arrested three persons, all aged between 25 and 30 years, and also recovered the video clip from them.
The victim left home at 5 am for classes near Majura Gate and met a friend near Civil Hospital crossroads.
While the two were exchanging books on the roadside, where they had parked their two-wheelers, three persons drew close in an Opel Astra car and asked both of them to get in.
The driver told them he was a police official and that they would have to accompany them to the police station. Once the scared kids got in, the car drove towards Dumas beach â a lonely stretch at that hour.
The three took turns to rape the girl on the back seat while the other two kept the teenaged boy pinned down on the front seat. After an hour-long ordeal, they were dropped at the same crossroads at 6.45 am.
The victimâs friend went to school from there while the girl returned home. She first washed her clothes, which may have destroyed some evidence. However, unable to bear the trauma, she broke down before family members.
The family immediately approached the police which got her medically examined. Tests proved she was raped. A forensic examination of the car was on.
About eight hours later, the accused â Shahid Saiyad, Tariq Qutubuddin Saiyad and Abu Bakr Shaikh â were nabbed from their residences in Habibsha Maholla in Kadarsha Ni Naal.
Shahidâs father NG Saiyad is a police inspector in Dholka while Tariqâs father Qutubuddin Saiyad is a head constable in Mahidharpura police station in Surat.

Surat gang rape fallout: <b>no tution classes before 7 a.m.</b>

The Surat Police Monday asked owners of private coaching institutes and individual tutors in the city not to hold classes before 7 a.m. The move comes following the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl who was on her way to a tution class at 5.30 a.m. last week.
The girl was raped by three youths - two of whom were sons of policemen posted at Surat.
"The parents of the students are also being instructed through schools not to be careless about the safety of their wards when they are on their way to tution classes or schools," a senior police officer in the crime branch here said.

Taking precautions is all good and well,
but *I'd* have advised Hindu girls/boys/women/men should all get a gun. And then make it go Bang on any paedophilic rapist islamaniacs. "Oh look. It's dead. Quel Tragedy. Allahu-Ek-Barbarian!" (Did I get it wrong? Pardon my oordoo-islamo-arabic - I'm not a linguist.)
(If no gun available, alternatively, maybe some sharp projectiles would do. For instance, Japanese martial arts fan sites sell things like Ninja Throwing Stars. Hindus in Bharatam should order and practise, practise, practise with their aim. Although Hindus aren't Ninjas, I'm guessing at semi-close range one can't miss.)

Contrast the Surat Gujarat situation with W Bengal, where an islamaniac mob murdered Hindu men and gangraped Hindu women on 6th of June 2009 - in an area "comprising the villages Dharampur, Madhupur, Nimdaha, Jamalpur, Kalekhatala, Kuksimla, Belerhat, Chhatni, Srirampur, Patuli etc., was once the stronghold of RSS and BJP."

And while I'd certainly prefer Hindu kids and their parents and Hindu adults/society in general to exercise caution, <i>Hindu</i> males are incredibly harmless. Women could close their eyes in their company. (For instance, what's the likelihood of muslimah or christian women getting attacked by Hindu men - I mean factually; not based on communistcombat spinblogs or christian fraudster accusations for whom fact=lie? Could it be so very low because the Hindu male is actually usually innocent???)
Don't misunderstand. I'm <b>not</b> encouraging anything. I'm just saying <i>if</i> Hindu girls <i>were</i> to find themselves suddenly alone in the company of Hindu boys, >95% chance nothing remotely suspicious (let alone injurious) would happen.
I don't know what the next generations will be like, of course.
In fact, the victims in this case need not be more than good friends and he may merely have been accompanying her for her own sake. Not that it helped her (or him) in the end. But I see no need for you to jump to drastic conclusions about his or her character and do so moreover based on islamaniac accusations (are they to be believed?). And there's certainly no grounds for you/anyone to turn innocent victims into willing masterminds.
