The communists in the state are desperate to woo Muslims after their humiliating defeat in the recent panchayat and civic body elections. The communists believe that due to the state governmentâs agricultural land grab policy for industry has alienated rural Muslims from the party and responsible for poll debacles. The party and its government are now liberally distributing favours to Muslims in the state such as setting up of Muslim religious university, named Alia University, in Kolkataâs Muslim populated area Park Circus. The chief minister, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, has offered his governmentâs financial assistance only to Muslim students seeking higher education. Mamata Banerjeeâs Trinamul Congress is not lagging behind in Muslim appeasements. She has announced that gram panchayats and panchyat samities won by her party in South 24 Parganas district will be run by local Muslims only.
Emboldened by the appeasement policy of the ruling party as well as the main Opposition party in the state, a section of Muslim fundamentalist outfits are gearing up an unprecedented attacks on Hindus in South Bengal districts. The first major attack was reported in Gangasagar, the holy confluence of the river Ganga and Bay of Bengal, on June 12 this year. About 200 Hindu pilgrims were assembled there for a holy dip at the confluence and listen to discourses on Hindu religious texts by leaders of Hindu Samhati Mancha. The peaceful Hindu assembly was attacked by a frenzied 3000-strong Muslim mob led by a local CPM leader Sheikh Ismail. Like infamous Godhra train burning incident in Gujarat, the heavily armed Muslim goons set fire to bamboo pavilion erected for the pilgrims assembled in the evening to listen to religious discourses. The goons also set fire to Viswa Hindu Parishadâs guest house where some pilgrims had taken shelter. The VHP guest house was badly damaged due to fire and ransacking. Strangely, the police remained onlookers during the murderous attack on Hindu pilgrims and later arrested only the leaders of Hindu Samhati Mancha and a few injured pilgrims. It is really a shame for Bengalâs media that suppressed the incident to appease the ruling CPM and its Muslim stooges. It was only the Bengali weekly Swastika that came out with detail reorts and pictures. The West Bengal unit of the VHP had also organized demonstration in protest. It may not be known to many outside West Bengal that the sacred Gangasagar Island is now dominated by Muslim majority population migrated from Bangladesh illegally thanks to the CPMâs policy of Muslim appeasement only to get their votes.
The second major attack on Hindus was reported on July 8 when Swami Punyalokanandaji, a monk of Ramakrishna Order and Adhyaksha of the Ramakrishna Ashram at Gorehat under Joynagar police station in South 24 Parganas was stripped and beaten up by CPM goons. Revered Swamiji is a Hindu social reformer who was initiated in sannyas by Swami Gambhiranandaji Maharaj, the 11th President of Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Belur, Howrah. Swami Punnyalokanandaji is devoted for the upliftment of the poor and underprivileged people at Gorehat since he has taken over as the head of the ashram. Swamiji was trying hard to start a free coaching centre for the primary school boys and homeopathic dispensary in the ashram campus. But Mohammed Abdur Ali, a local CPM leader and his associates have planned to set up a country liquor shop in the ashram campus capturing the ashram room for coaching students and the dispensary just by flexing their muscle power.
The local Muslim goons, led by the CPM leader Abdur Ali, attacked Swamiji with iron rods and lathis and tied him with a tree before stripping him off his saffron robes and beat him mercilessly till he became senseless. This ghastly scene was witnessed by hundreds of local people as the attack was made by the Muslim goons in the morning. But none came forward to save Swamiji fearing reprisal from the local Muslim goons sheltered by the CPM bosses. The police came to the spot only after the Muslim fanatics had satisfied themselves by blood-shed of a peaceful Hindu monk. Strangely, again, the police did not arrest a single culprit so far except registering a general diary (No. 168/08) about the attack on Swamiji at the Joynagar police station. Swamiji had many injuries in his body including scull. Some devotees of Swamiji took him to Kolkataâs SSKM government hospital for C.T Scan of brain and necessary treatment. Swamiji is now out of danger. Swamiji had earlier met the district magistrate and the district superintendent of police apprehending murderous attacks on him and on the ashram and requested them in writing for protection. But they did not take steps to protect the Hindu monk mainly due to fearing backlash of the Muslim fundamentalist groups and red eyes of the ruling communists. The two successive barbaric incidents and complete police inaction led to a panic among peace-loving Hindus all over West Bengal. The incidents have clearly showed that the CPM has adopted a tactic of torture against Hindus only to win the hearts of the Muslims to regain their support in the Lok Sabha elections.

In 2009 election, Hazi Nurul Islam of T.M.C. won this constituency defeating long time Communist M.P. Ajay Chakraborty (C.P.I). After this change of power, Hindus of the whole area are facing all types of threat, humiliation, torture and their religious practices are in danger.
When Hindus objected the digging of the Temple passage, Muslims gathered there in large number and started mayhem. Hindus informed the police. Police came and they had to face the jihadi enthusiasm of the Muslims. Officer in Charge injured at that time. Then Muslims threatened that now Roja is going on. After the end of Roja and taking Iftar, they will teach stern lesson to the Hindus. So, after afternoon, Hindus dared not to open their shops on the stretch between Berachapa to Kadamgachhi on the Barasat ââ¬â Basirhat Road. By this time, large contingent of police and RAF took position. Defying their presence, Muslims gathered in large number in the Deganga Mosque and started looting and destroying the Hindu shops, not in Chattal Pally, but in the big markets of Beliaghata, Deganga and Kartickpur. A big shop of Anil Bangal, a Hindu, has been looted fully among many other shops. Anil Bangal has been seriously injured. More than 25 people have been injured.
Latest position is that Police is not allowing the Hindus to come out of their homes so that they can enquire the damage done by the Muslims and Muslims are roaming freely in front of police force. Overall situation has been worsened. It is alleged that Maqbur Rehman, Mintu Sahaji led the Muslim rioters. It is also alleged that one TMC Hindu leader Ms. Ratna Chowdhury is trying to pressurize police not to take strong steps to arrest the Muslim rampaging mob. The new TMC M.P. (Member of Parliament) Hazi Nurul Islam allegedly influenced the police to remain inactive.
The Muslims are majority in number in the Deganga Block as well as in Basirhat Sub division of North 24 Parganas district. According to 2001 Census report, Muslims were 69.51 percent in Deganga Block. Naturally after nine years, their percentage increased a lot and Hindus in that Block are living a life almost like Pakistan. This North 24 Parganas district, is the largest border district where the highest number of Hindu refugees took shelter after being persecuted in erstwhile East Pakistan and present Bangladesh. In spite of that, the eight Blocks among total 29 of this districts became Muslim majority blocks in 2001 census.
Yesterdayââ¬â¢s violence in Deganga has been reported only in the NE Bangla channel of electronic media of West Bengal. All other channels including Star Anand, as always they do, are mum and suppressing the misdeeds of the fanatic Muslims.
As per available information the Rioting Muslims started the violence afresh in the 7th. morning and restricted the entry of any body to the area to smoothen their jehadi activities there. ââ¬ÅHindu Samhatiââ¬Â leaders rushed to the area with ââ¬ÅHindu Existenceââ¬Â (HE) media team to boost up the morale of the fighting Hindu youths there, but blocked by the local Muslims at Golabari point. They are trying hard to reach the spot at any cost. Reports came in that Hindus are not allowed to enter in those areas of Kartickpur and tortured by the Islamists even by checking the genitals.
Today, when contacted with Mr. Jyotiprio Mallik,(+919433446800) State leader and in-charge of TMC of North 24 Pgs District, he told the HE correspondent that Military has been deployed in the area just now about 11.40 am and gradually taking over the control. So far 7 persons are killed in the firing of Military contingent. Mr. Mallik expressed his utter astonishment by the severity of the incident of erecting a disputed fence between Hindu and Muslim holdings. He also told that he was also fearing to enter the area of open swords and fire arms in the hands of fundamentalists. He told that the overall communal situation of the area is very bad now.
One Shakuntala (name changed) in the South 24 Pgs was informed in the early morning about the awesome condition of her relatives residing in Kartickpur areas where destruction of Hindu temple and torture upon her relatives were tremendous. She tried to take up the matter to the State TMC leaders to rescue the persecuted Hindus of the Deganga area. When contacted Mr. Partha Chatterjee,(+919831002887) Opposition leader Of WB State Assembly, he cut off the mobile phone hearing some words without any comment. But a responsive Mr. Mukul Roy,(+919830040931) State TMC leader and Central Minister of State of Shipping, stated that the CPIM is doing this nefarious work of communal riot. But when Shakuntala categorically told Mr. Roy that one notorious Hazi Nurul Islam is behind the communal tension, Mr Roy said, ââ¬Â I know him well. But our first duty is to calm down the tension in favour of the peace loving community.ââ¬Â Md. Mortaza Hossian is the M.L.A. of Deganga Assembly Constituency. As the M.P. and M.L.A. are both of Muslim community, the minority Hindus in this area always face the persecution of majority Muslim here without any redressal.
Both the TMC and CPIM is trying to take political advantage out of the situation and bye-passing the activities of communal Muslims in the name of restoring the peace and harmony. But the cry of the local Hindus are rejected by all political parties. Now, Hindus are trying to be united to face this Islamic force, irrespective of any political colour.
Now the State authority in Writersââ¬â¢ Building ascertained the military deployment in the Kartickpur area of Deganga and the Bengal electronic media is now flashing the news of Deganga with one casualty out of Communal Clash there.

The 1991 census showed abnormal muslim growth in WB and Murli Manohar Joshi personally spoke to Jyoti Basu that changing the dempographic ratio is catastrophic
Also, there is a home ministry document in 1996 by Rajeshwar Rao, Gov of UP, that documents low level ethnic cleansing in Assam and WB, especially targeted rape of Hindu women by muslims in these areas, to ethnic cleanse Hindus

Hindus has decreased from 2,87,392-in 1971 to 1,17,900 In
1991. Obviously, Hindus have moved elsewhere In order to

donations by Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, mosques are
multiplying and five times a day have to put up with a

In the district of Murshidabad. where, In accordance with
the 1991 Census. only Muslims live, and no Hindu Is
present, e.g. the villages of Ahari Nagar, Mallickpur.
Sujapur, Rameswarpur, Flahiganj and Roshniganj. One can
safely predict that s~ predominantly Muslim villages In
the district of Murshidabad will have no Hindu by 2001.
It one turns to the district of Maldah. one will be
alarmed to note how In the border police station (PS)
areas of Harishchandrapur. Kharba, Ratua and Kallachak,
Muslims have been outnumbering Hindus. Thus. In
accordance with Census reports, during 1971-1991. the
number of Muslims has grown from 59.63-% of the total
population to 62.85% In the Harishchandrapur PS area,
from 60.98% to 67.49% in the Kharba PS area, from 59.48%
to 67.25% In the Ratua PS area. and from 59.74% to 72.68%
In the Kallachak PS area. In the district of Nadia.
again, a similar tragedy has been unfolding at the border
PS areas of Karimpur, Tehatta, Kaliganji, Nakashipara and
Chapra. During 1971-1991, the number of Muslims has
risen from 38.84% of the total population to 43.23% at
the Kashmir PS area, from 32.31% to 37.48% at the Tehatta
PS area, from 45.72% to 54,03% at the Kaliganj PS area.
from 45.08% to 49.02% at the Nakashipara PS area. and
from 51.23% to 66.34% at the Chapra PS area.
Does all this carry any message to Hindus In West Bengal
? Are they too secular to understand the meaning of
transformation of the Kaliganj PS area from a Hindu
Majority area to a Muslim majority area In course of 20
years ? If not, let them unite and resist Muslim
domination looming larger day by clay. For. unlike In
medieval India, Islamic conquest does not take place by
big, bloody leaps In contemporary, secular India. It
takes place by small, largely bloodless, installments.

The key thing to remember is that the RSS-VHP in West Bengal at least has atrophied and is incapable of protecting Hindus
Apparently the VHP in Kolkata was more interested in Hanuman Chalisa chanting than Hindu protection
Shri Tapan Ghosh, was an ex-RSS pracharak, who left RSS to form Hindu Samhati
RSS still does a lot of good work, but it is no longer effective as Hindu riot protection, and Hindu riot protection was the
sole reason for starting RSS in 1925
I would urge all Hindus, especially bengalis to join Bharat Sevashram Sangha
This predates RSS and is a more militant form of RK mission
Bharat Sevashram Sangha is often the main resistance to islam in rural WB
So to all bengalis, please give up Saraswati Puja, Durga puja, Rabindro Sangeet and Kali temple and instead
just join Bharat Sevashram Sangha for both religion and self defence
