List Of Anti-Indian Charities - Guest - 12-13-2007 Can anyone provide the list of pro Hindu and Pro India charities along with their contact details? After going through the long list of Anti Indian and Anti Hindu outfits I am really surprised to find myself still alive and gainfully employed, yet residing in India. It is high time that the Hindus should take stock of this indeed alarming situation and should initiate immediate steps for their own survival in their own country. I feel a steady flow of Opium along with urgent appeal for divine intervention through yagaa and akhand kirtan should be started immediately. All past organizers of such events may kindly post their suggestions. (Is there even such a way.) Am fearful that the christoislamiterrorists will pull another fast one like they did on Ekal Vidyalaya and those other Dharmic programs ('stop funding hate'). The more the christoislamicommunists know of Hindu activities to help the Hindu community, the more they hurt us. It's not enough for them that they violently propagate their own scary ideologies - they actively go out to destroy our programs for helping our own people. QUOTEI feel a steady flow of Opium along with urgent appeal for divine intervention through yagaa and akhand kirtan should be started immediately.Huh? Was that meant to be another tasteless joke. Silent laughter all round? Oh wait, anti-ISKCON guy wants to know of "Hindu charities". What, so he can get his Red friends to close in on all of them too? Yeah, nice try. First, yes there will be effort to tarnish pro Hindu orgs. I can't imagine how even EV would be targetted. It is like Hindus get damned if they do not do or do charity. First people have the impression that Hindus do no charities and it always the Christian missionaries that help the down trodden people. And when one points the Hindu organizations helping then they find flaws in them. Second, like I mentioned the socieyt has an impression that it is always the Nuns and such missionary organizations that are involved in working for the upliftment of people. Countless Indian movies making such associations stand testament to the society's impression. Right or wrong, we need to make folks aware of the Hindus' works too. In email lists and discussion groups one every now and then gets into such discussions - what are Hindus doing for their dalits. We have to fight the perception. The alternative is to continue the work as silently as possible like you say. But a good PR exercise will be helpful. |
