I have to agree with the above article completely. In ahmedabad I was greeted with "happy independence day" by atleast 5 people. Even small chai walla dukans displayed the tricolor which was available at every cross roads. 1 flag for 1 Rs. <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> Oh and we had "independence day sale" all over the place..
