if we had allowed the grand old man to commit all his grandiose mistakes , in no time maybe 4-5 years down from 1950 the general public unable to bear the atrocities of the pakistani brotherhood(nehru , gandhi etc) would have risen in revolt and dealt them the jungle justice.
by killing him godse effectively turned him into a martyr and all his faults were forgotten.
