This is exactly what I was wondering.
At 70% reservation in the society which is maybe 20% 'backward' the 'benefits' and the opportunity costs should decrease - except for the few who will fall by the wayside.
The other aspect of this is that this should result in suboptimal allocation of resources (if limited) while at the same time suboptimal realization of payoffs.
My suspicion is that both of these must hold true for the TN society. What would be the best way to prove this ?
