Now I am going to get politically incorrect
and talk about IQ and heredity

I read a recent article on the high IQ of jews
Per this article, in the middle ages, for a few centuries, jews were restricted to only a few jobs, such as banker, diplomat etc
This being the case, the jews who were talented as bankers, diplomats,
in short, the higher IQ jews produced a lot of children, whereas the jews who were not high IQ produced fewer children and died out
In a sort of Darwinian evolutionary selection, the surviving jews evolved into higher IQ. Each generation, the non-superior IQ jews slowly produced fewer surviving children

Now I am going to take this hypothesis, 1 step forward, this genetic darwinian pressure has been operating for several thousand years in hindu castes
In each caste the Darwinian selector is slightly different and based on the occupation. Different kinds of skill sets become darwinically pre-selected in different castes
If you were a bania and were poor in accounting skills you went extinct
If you were a artisan caste and you were not a skilled artisan you went extinct
If you were a brahmin and could not memorise huge texts you went extinct and so on
The caste system in short is a mini-evolutionary lab

If you look at US contests such as spelling bee, national geographic bee etc
, Indian children, more specifically UPPER caste hindu children excel

IQ has a norm of 100 with a standard deviation of 15
Based on complex statistical analysis of the gerrymandering in admissions in Tamil Nadu, circa 1975
I am going to make the following assumptions for mean IQ
Brahmins = 115
Dwijas = 108
OBC = 98
SC/ST = 90
all bell shaped overlapping curves
Meaning many SC/ST will outscore many brahmins

What this means is that if reservations are held solely on the basis of
poverty, brahmins and dwijas willl get most of the spots and that is why there is much opposition to this from rich OBCs

I also want to add a caveat,
Islam seems to pull down IQ by 20 points
In UK, the IQ rankings are
1. Hindus
2. Whites
3. Afro caribeans
4. Muslims
