âPakistan, India relations prone to deteriorationâ
BAKU: Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri warned on Monday that history had shown that relations between Pakistan and India were prone to sudden deterioration. Addressing the 33rd foreign ministerâs session of the Organisation of Islamic Conference, Kasuri regretted that despite both sides having achieved some progress under the Composite Dialogue framework of confidence-building measures, they had still failed to resolve outstanding issues, including Kashmir. The foreign minister thanked those Islamic countries that had stood by Pakistan in supporting the Kashmiri peoplesâ right to self-determination, while appreciating OIC support for Islamabadâs efforts to resolve the Kashmir dispute. nni
