Maybe some Hindus can get a job at the textbook company, and quietly start making changes there.
One of the big reasons why the books weren't withdrawn is probably corporate lobbying by the textbook company, since they had already spent the money in creating the book.
Another way is to sue the textbook publisher itself for publishing hatred and bigotry, not sure if it will hold up in court though.
