The original concept of Madrassa education must have been very noble. However, of late the facility has been misused and in many parts of the world it has become the centre for recruitment and training of potential terrorists. The so called clash of civilization that has been advocated in recent times by the fundamentalist has given a fresh impetus to the move of using the Madrassa for such deadly purposes. It is high time that all responsible States in the world should keep a strict watch on the ways these Madrassas are functioning.
