Congress going to elections alone is suicidal for the party and if they are suicidal there is a chance BJP/NDA might get a landslide. Sonia is not that stupid and in all probability she will go with all the alliances to polls.

All the political parites test waters in Municipal and other local elections. congress is testing iself regarding Maharastra in Bombay municipal elections.
