QUETTA: Two persons were killed and five seriously injured when a bomb went off in an election campaign meeting of the PML-Q in Bekar Town of the Dera Bugti district on Wednesday, the Dera Bugti police told the APP. Tariq Massuri Bugti, PML-Q candidate for PB-24 Dera Bugti, was proceeding to the public meeting as part of his election campaign when a remote-controlled bomb planted in the meeting ground went off. Two cousins of Tariq, Wahid Bakhsh and Fateh Muhammad, were killed on the spot, while Tariq himself escaped unhurt.
