A comparison with India
The rulers are doing nothing to improve the economic situation of the country. This means they are forgetting one of the main objectives for which Pakistan was created. India has now a middle class population of about 400 million people which shows that the Indian economy is stable. The economic justice given to the people of India has strengthened the country enviably. Also I believe that an independent judiciary in India has played a pivotal role in ensuring economic justice to the people.
Unfortunately in our country the judiciary has always been tamed and influenced by powerful, unelected rulers. That is why our country is facing immense economic problems. <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Flush.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='Flush.gif' /> For the first time the judiciary tried to act independently but a powerful pillar of the state suppressed it. The only way to get an independent judiciary, so that it can ensure economic equity and check corruption of the powerful, is to restore the judiciary to its November 2 position. This will mark the beginning of Pakistan's journey towards prosperity and economic justice.
