Hi-tech ticketing for India-Australia Test

The tickets would be delivered directly to their mobile phones. At the venue, they only need to place their phones on the sensor installed at the gates for entering the stadium. Spice Telecom and Karnataka State Cricket Association, after their "successful" and ongoing joint venture of Future Strokes, have again come together to launch the Mobile Ticketing in association with ConvergeLabs, a Spice Telecom release said.
This was the first time in the world, tickets for a cricket match would be received through mobile phone, it claimed. To buy M-Tickets for the inaugural test of the Gavaskar- Border trophy one needs to log in through http://www.kscaonline.com or www.spicetele.com or dial 919844100777 from their mobile phones (Spice Karnataka customers can dial 777) or SMS "cric" to 777 for booking tickets. Spice WAP users can log on to http://wap spicetele.com.
On successful booking, the ticket will be delivered on the phone as a special barcode, which the user will have to save on the handset till the end of the match.
