Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was here today to inspect a mega camp at Maranga, about three km off Purnea. He promised to turn the challenge posed by the Kosi into an opportunity and assured flood victims better houses and facilities than they had before the Kosi struck its fury.

In all, a slew of promises with better and more opportunities for flood-affected people, farmers and traders is what the Chief Minister reeled out as he promised to turn the entire flood-affected Kosi region into a “much better Kosi region” than it was before the disaster.
