Personally, I think Bush and McCain type elites intentionally sabotage their own chances/parties and thumb their noses at their base. The base is always held in a certain contempt (especially if we draw parallels with Christian history). By choosing an exaggerated davy crocket figure, elite McCain is mocking the base. Of course, base is oblivious. Bush made a similar gesture when he appointed his personal lawyer as Supreme Court Justice. At the very least, this is passive aggressive behavior at the very top, which is unusual for a society.

I really want to see woman to get elected this election as VP or President. Gov. Sarah selection exposed liberal and especially liberal women. These liberals came out with worst form of attack. They are in shock that how a conservative woman can rise and can be Preisdent. Liberal elites are in shock that she had not attended Ivy league or was not in their cocktail party circles. She is out of beltway, that is shocker for DC elites.

She is smart woman, I am really eager to listen her in next two days.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Kristol on Sarah Palin, Hockey Mom
McCain aides whose judgment I trust are impressed by Sarah Palin. One was particularly amused by this exchange: A nervous young McCain staffer took it upon himself to explain to Palin the facts of life in a national campaign, the intense scrutiny she'd be under from the media, the viciousness of the assault that she'd be facing, etc.:

<b>Palin: "Thanks for the warning. By the way, do you know what they say the difference is between a hockey mom and a Pit Bull?"

McCain aide: "No, Governor."

Palin: "A hockey mom wears lipstick."</b> <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The Politico has received an opposition research file from the Alaska Democrats. You can read it in PDF here. http://www.politico.com/static/PPM41_palin.html

In the file, the Democrats have released Sarah Palin's social security number minus the last four digits. Also tied to the information are her various home addresses.

Back in 2005, Democrats used Michael Steele's social security number to get his credit record.

It is atrocious that the Democrats would not only seek out Sarah Palin's social security number, but release it in opposition research to the press.

We need to know who did this. We also need to know what happened. We also need to know if it was used to bolster the Democrats' opposition research.

When it happened to Michael Steele, it turns out the Democrats knew about it and did nothing.

They cannot not take action now. <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->They say crazy things like they owned 26 cars from 1994 until now - 10 of them were ATVs!!!! <b>Palin reignites culture wars </b><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The annual Pew Religion and Public Life Survey recently reported that after voters gauged how liberal McCain and Obama were, <b>“the average voter places themselves much closer to McCain than to Obama.” </b>
<b>Forty-nine percent of Americans say their “moral values” are conservative, while only 20 percent say they are liberal</b>. About half of voters, when asked to assess the moral values of the candidates, <b>described Obama as liberal </b>while nearly<b> six in 10 said McCain was conservative</b>.

Given the intensity of Palin support among conservatives, McCain may very well end up with greater flexibility than ever to make his own direct appeal to independent voters. <b>Palin can keep social activists at ease — and excited — while McCain seeks to reclaim his maverick image with a more direct appeal to those Hillary Clinton supporters and undecided swing voters.</b>

“In the last 72 hours, the focus [of social conservatives] has sharpened not only because of Palin’s selection but the instinctive reaction of the left to her, that ‘she is small town, what does she know; she’s religious right, she’s an extremist,'” said Bauer. “They are eliminating any chance they had to switch some of these” traditionally Republican states to the Democrats.

Obama is regestering voters left and right and twice especially students. Students and parents who had registered twice to vote Obama twice should read this.
This was Obama attempt to win Virginia.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2008/09/03/voting
<b>Last week, Virginia’s Montgomery County, home to Virginia Tech, issued a press release regarding proper protocol for college students registering to vote</b>. In interviews with Inside Higher Ed Tuesday, it was described by turns as “unsubstantiated,” “chilling,” and (more generously) as not “incredibly encouraging or friendly.”

<b>It reads, in part: “The Code of Virginia states that a student must declare a legal residence in order to register. A legal residence can be either a student’s permanent address from home or their current college residence. By making Montgomery County your permanent residence, you have declared your independence from your parents and can no longer be claimed as a dependent on their income tax filings — check with your tax professional. If you have a scholarship attached to your former residence, you could lose this funding. And, if you change your registration to Montgomery County, Virginia Code requires you to change your driver’s license and car registration to your present address within 30 days.”</b>

The county registrar of elections said Tuesday that the memo was intended to counteract the absence of cautionary information given to students signed up through the ubiquitous get-out-the-vote registration drives. Generally speaking, however, those interviewed for this article said the warnings are, at worst, farfetched and misleading, or, at best, overstated and not typically supported in reality.

And, in a year in which historic youth voter turnout is anticipated, and the <b>Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has been propelled by college students’ support, this case in the battleground state of Virginia is “not an isolated incident,” </b>said Sujatha Jahagirdar, program director for the Student Public Interest Research Group’s nonpartisan New Voters Project.
<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Montgomery County followed up its first dispatch with a somewhat more neutrally worded news release two days later, on August 27. This one raised similar issues but in the form of questions, which students were prompted to consider in deciding whether to register to vote where their family lives or where their college is.

<b>Among them: “Are you claimed as a dependent on your parents’ income tax return? If you are, then their address is probably your legal residence.... Do you have a scholarship that would be affected if you changed your legal residence?.. Would your health, automobile or other insurance coverage be affected by a change in your legal residence? If you are covered under your parents’ insurance policy, your protection could be affected by a change in your legal residence.”  </b>
<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->In an interview, E. Randall Wertz, the general registrar of elections for Montgomery County, cited the State Board of Election’s guidance on college student registration as what he relied upon. He explained that, in sending the memo, he was attempting to combat either the misinformation, or lack of information, that college students have to consider when signing up through voter registration drives.

<b>“What’s happening is they’re going out across campus over here and just getting people to sign the registration forms left and right and not telling them issues to consider, or telling them the incorrect information,” said Wertz. “Before they make the decision to register with us, they need to check with the accountant who does the taxes. They need to check if they’re on their parents’ health insurance. By being at a separate permanent address, does that affect their insurance?”

“I was just trying to inform them of things to consider, and then once they’ve made an informed decision and decide to come with us, we welcome them,” Wertz said.</b>

“We don’t want to suppress them from voting and we certainly want them to vote. It’s just, what’s best for them is what they need to consider. Unfortunately, the campaigns, they’re not concerned with what’s best for the student. They’re generally concerned with just getting people signed up.”

<b>From Tuesday through Friday of last week, voter registration drives at Virginia Tech brought more than 2,000 new registrations to the county, Wertz said. He also estimated that about 25 students have called to ask if the county could cancel the processing of their registration.  </b>

Now comes the top GOP pundits and Reagan speech writers saying it's over:
Caught on tape: Peggy Noonan, Mike Murphy Caught On Tape Disparaging Palin Choice: "It's Over," "Political Bullshit," "Gimmicky"

Kids off limits right? Here's a quiz, guess who joked (later apologized to Clintons):

I personally watched Murphy (on MSNBC) say after Hillary speech that 'Hillary's going to vote for McCain" and he put his name/reputation when Matthew egged him. Peggy Noonan's plagiarist but speaks for GOP on major shows.

Did you dig answer on that Chelsea joke?

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Did you dig answer on that Chelsea joke?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
They don't care because we have heard much worse, during PA victory speech MSNBC and CNN journalist were making jokes on her looks and other physical attribute, I will dig videos.

Actually, two things are happening since election started.
Initially, it was race and sexism during democrat primary, both were historical candidate. Obama was selected in 2004 and promoted by Kerry, Kennedy and Dean Group. They kicked out or sidelined Clinton centrist. During heated primary, Misogyny became a issue and it hit very hard to average woman. Funny thing happened, far-left feminist like Pelosi or Maureen who promote themselves for woman causes or got benefit themselves by beating or bashing men all along decided not to support Woman in primary and supported Black candidate because it is cool and will show them above all. I think this double standard had hit average woman who are trying hard to be treated equal.
Now when GOP opted for Woman candidate same far-left feminist are in shock because they had made woman right as business and it was far-left identity. Now its looks like GOP had stolen show. Misogyny is back and same players are doing, same group of bra burning woman and media. One good thing came out, far-left feminist are exposed. Now these feminist are saying Democrats womb are different than Republican. These feminist are just arm chair fanatics or parasite lives on other woman misery.
NOW, Emily and Norla are supporting Obama that I called hypocrisy. Same they did with Hillary. Only WomanPac and WomanSpeak are supporting Palin and came out against far-left feminist, these groups are formed during assault on Hillary.

Second thing we have to watch culture war now. Both tickets are historical tickets. Two months will be very long and destructive.
