PRP and Loksatta are spoiler parties encourage by Congress.

Actor Nagarjuna, who is in Congress, campaigned for LS. LS affected urban votes, esp greater Hyderabad.

PRP fielded candidates in a way that was disadvantageous to TDP. Even in recent Tekkali election it fielded a Velama against TDP's K Acham Naidu (who is brother of K Yerram Naidu, also velama). Congress fielded a Kalinga (Another dominant caste after Velama in that part of AP). Money broker for Chiranjeevi was his own brother-in-law Allu Aravind. Perhaps Botsa or YSR himself directly dealt with Chiranjeevi and Aravind.

In a strange way KCR himself may be a spoiler for TDP. It is CT now but corroboration is needed on some observations (KCR insisting running from Mahaboobnagar - a TDP winnable seat) to confirm the spoiler role.

Apart from those, two tactics that YSR used won him last election. In greater Hyderabad area, he spooked non-Telengana businessmen and people that they would be kicked out if TDP-TRS combo came to power. Those businessmen secretly campaigned for YSR.

At the same time he spooked Krishna-river dependent south districts that their water flow is at stake if TRS came to power (his speech soon after elections were over in Telengana districts). This resulted in TDP not winning these areas.

<b>Families paid to claim YSR shock deaths</b>
A. Srinivasa Rao
Hyderabad, September 16, 2009
http://indiatoday.intoday.in/site/Story/61...ock+deaths.html

Andhra Pradesh Congressmen are going to extreme lengths to show how scores of people in the state had died of shock following former chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's tragic helicopter crash.

Ever since Reddy's body was found in the Nallamala forests on September 3, there have been reports sourced to the Congress party of deaths from heart attacks and suicides from all parts of the state.

However, cross-checking some of these cases revealed an uncomfortable truth that many had suspected all along - <b>that these people had died of natural causes and their deaths could not be linked to Reddy's accident. T</b>he investigation also exposed how cynical local Congress leaders, and in one case allegedly a state minister, had paid the families of those who had died from natural causes since September 3 to say the deaths were due to shock following the former chief minister's accident.

<b>The money was evidently used to buy their silence on the actual cause of death of their kin.</b>

<b>These facts expose the local Congress unit's elaborate effort to spread lies about the deaths so that a myth could be created around Reddy and, many believe, also boost the chief ministerial prospects of his ambitious son, Jaganmohan.</b>

The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has periodically released 'bulletins' on the number of deaths due to heart attacks and suicides to the media, attributing them to Reddy's sad end.

The latest such 'bulletin' from the CLP says 462 people have died since Reddy's death was confirmed on September 3, 402 of heart attack while 60 committed suicide. According to these details, East Godavari district accounted for the highest number of 58 deaths, followed by 48 in Warangal district and 46 in Karimnagar district.

Hyderabad City recorded one YSR shock death.

Telugu Desam Party Warangal district unit president and Narsampet MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy said<b>, "It is surprising that not a single person died of grief or shock in YSR's hometown of Pulivendula. But in my Narsampet constituency, four people died.</b> I can confidently say that these were all natural deaths. It is a media hype perpetrated by Congress leaders. It is sad that Congress politics has stooped to such an extent."

Gandra Venkataramana Reddy, former Warangal district Congress committee president and Congress MLA said, "There might be some instances of false claims, but there are certainly some genuine cases of deaths and suicides of people due to shock and grief over the death of YSR in the initial days." However, even the Congress leader admits that there have been some false claims recently.

<b>"There is no truth in the reports regarding the latest incidents of deaths. They might have been fabricated by the media for sensationalism,"</b> he said.

Inquiries made by Mail Today in a quick survey in parts of Warangal district revealed the charade perpetrated by local Congress leaders to build the former chief minister's image.

<b>Families of the "victims" admitted that they were paid Rs 5,000 each by Congress leaders for funeral and other expenses</b>. In return, they were told not to disclose how these people actually died. The Congress leaders also reportedly promised to secure the release of ex-gratia to the families once Jaganmohan became CM. Take, for instance, the death of 70-year-old Uppalaiah, a potter from the remote Lakshmipuram village of Parakala mandal. His poverty-stricken family stays in a small hut. On September 3 afternoon, a few hours after Reddy's death was confirmed, Uppalaiah died.

His son Mallaiah claimed the old man had "suddenly died" of a heart attack on the day Reddy's body was found. But, his wife Lakshamma said that Uppalaiah had been ailing for over a month and was suffering from breathlessness.

Inquiries revealed how local Congress leaders had got into the act to show the old man had died of shock following the news of Reddy's accident. A local Congressman had called up a reporter of Sakshi television channel, owned by Jaganmohan, to say that Uppalaiah had died of a heart attack after watching the news of Reddy's death on television.

Within minutes, this appeared on the <b>scrolling on Sakshi TV</b>. Then, other media organisations too picked up the news. The YSR shock deaths myth was slowly being built. But, it was founded on a cruel lie because Uppalaiah's desperately poor family does not own a television set.

Similar stories emerged from other areas as well. Congress leaders reportedly had little trouble in learning of these deaths because they had mostly occurred in party strongholds.

On September 4, 40-year-old B. Srihari, a registered medical practitioner, died of a heart attack in neighbouring Nagaram village. His brother Ramesh said that Srihari had participated in a rally organised by the local Congress workers in Reddy's memory. He had returned to his clinic and treated a few patients, before collapsing. "Srihari died before we could take him to hospital. We informed the local Sakshi reporter, who carried the news on the channel," Ramesh said.

He also said, <b>"Minister for Women and Child Welfare Konda Surekha called on us and paid us Rs 5,000</b>. She also promised all help to us once Jaganmohan took over as chief minister," Ramesh said.

At Kowkonda village, Chukka Sayamma, an 80-year-old woman died in her sleep on September 4. But her death was linked to Reddy's helicopter crash.

In another instance, 45-year-old Rajamouli of Kamareddypalle village died after allegedly consuming poison in his fields on September 5. His daughter Padma did not say how the death had occurred.

However, his neighbours said that Rajamouli had been drinking heavily the night before after participating in a Congress rally. He had quarrelled with his wife at night and was found dead the next morning. His name was reportedly put on the list of those who "gave up their lives" for Reddy because he had taken part in the Congress rally.

The death of 25-year-old Teegala Chiranjeevi at Peddammagadda in Hanamkonda is interesting. Local residents said he was a vagabond and mentally deranged. On September 5, he committed suicide by setting himself on fire.

Since there was no one to take care of him, local NSUI workers informed the media that the man had immolated himself demanding that Jaganmohan be made chief minister. The police, however, registered the case of suicide.

"<b>We know that 90 per cent of these deaths are natural</b>. But nobody would speak the truth either out of respect towards YSR or fear of reprisal from Congress leaders. The family members of these victims too do not reveal the facts because they have been promised ex gratia by the leaders," a mandal parishad member said.

What is it with us Hindus (Pagans/infidels to Dayal - Susan Roy types)???

(At the end of the article....inspite of repeated assertions by TTD CEO Krishna Rao, the board trustee Adikeshavulu [cryptic Xtian??] wants to install Samuel Reddy's statue for his 'contribution')
(Yes. Of course he would be. No Hindu would want the little terrorist or its statue anywhere near our Kovil.)

I suppose then if idiots like him, MSAiyer, Veerappa Moily; had their way, we Hindus should soon commemorate Francis Xavier (Jesuit murderer), Curzon, Macaulay.......as these mass marauders showed us 'Hindoos' THE LIGHT!!

Is there any unreachable height of imbecility/ retardedness than this? What kinda Holocaust will teach us Hindus to call a bl###y bigot ....a bigot....thats what this Y Samuel chap was .....with the blessings of the Maino-Quattrochchi family.

Jagan's plan to split congress

While it looks like the decision has almost been made at the Congress central command that it is going to be Rosaiah who would be heading the state as the chief minister until further notice, there seems to be a small current that is growing in the camp of Y S Jagan.

The talk in circles is that Jagan might soon be heading a new party and the interesting thing is, the Praja Rajyam Party is likely to be merging with this new YS congress if high command still delays. It is said that Chiranjeevi has been showing positive signs of merging PRP with Jagan led Congress.

On the other hand, Jagan is also said to be positive about welcoming Chiru if he wishes and the coming months will reveal what will the situation be like. Meanwhile, the political experts say that under the current position, this is the best move that Chiru can make before he gets humiliated further.

<b>CM on offensive, says ‘I am here to stay’</b>
The ruling Congress party in Andhra Pradesh, in the grip of uncertainty and confusion since the sudden death of YS Rajasekhara Reddy,<b> seems to be heading towards a major confrontation between the supporters and opponents of his son Jagan Reddy as for the first time the incumbent Chief Minister K Rosaiah has made it clear that he intends to stay and fight back.</b>

He not only made it clear that he was no “interim Chief Minister” but a full-fledged Chief Minister and if any Minister had any objection to his leadership, he or she was free to leave the Cabinet.<b> “If these people (dissidents) can’t wait for the decision of the high command, they are free to leave. Nobody will stop them. They can resign, can go their way and do what they want,” Rosaiah said.</b>

<b>“As far as my knowledge goes, the Indian Constitution does not have any provision for an interim, temporary or caretaker Chief Minister. If a person takes the oath as the Chief Minister he is a Chief Minister. If a person takes the oath as Minister, he is Minister. If a CM is caretaker, will the Ministers be caretaker or permanent,” Rosaiah wondered.</b>

He indicated that he would soon be going to Delhi for consultations with the Congress high command and would go by their advice on the issues like reshuffle or expansion of the Cabinet.

Rosaiah’s stern stand evoked immediate reaction from Jagan camp and at least one Minister - <b>Konda Surekha from Warangal -- announced that she would quit if Jagan is not be made the Chief Minister and Rosaiah continues in the position.</b>

<b>The sudden and surprising assertion by Rosaiah came a day after Jagan Reddy’s supporters went berserk and burnt two buses in Rajahmundry and ransacked the office of Congress party in Anantpur district demanding Jagan’s immediate installation as the Chief Minister. </b>

They also left the party thoroughly shocked by tearing down a big poster with AICC President Sonia Gandhi’s poster in Khammam district office and burning it in full public view.

The incident provided an opening to the anti-Jagan leaders of the party to launch a counter-offensive. <b>Senior leaders like G Venkatswamy, V Hanumantha Rao and K Keshav Rao strongly condemned the incident as an insult to Sonia Gandhi. In a swift action, State Congress president D Srinivas suspended four party workers in connection with the incident.</b> Rosaiah also condemned the incident and spoke to Sonia to express his regrets. The State police have also booked a case in this regard.

The violent incidents allegedly involving Jagan’s supporters has provided a rallying point to the State Congress leaders of other groups who have now for the first time come out openly in support of Rosaiah.

<b>V Hanumantha Rao after meeting Rosaiah said that he will remain Chief Minister till 2014 when the next election was due. When asked whether it will not be going against the people’s wishes, Hanumantha Rao quipped, “We know what the people wish and whose side they are. The people’s wish cannot be bigger than Sonia Gandhi’s decision. Whoever is blessed by Sonia will be the leader,</b>” he said,

Meanwhile the Congress workers belonging to various other camps also held protest demonstrations all over the State against the incident of burning of Sonia posters. In Hyderabad, a demonstration was held in the State party headquarters Gandhi Bhavan. State minority cell president Sirajuddin who led the demonstration said the people who insulted Sonia were trying to challenge the authority of the party high command.

Jagan camp on the other hand was not in a mood to take it lying down. Jogi Ramesh, MLA and Jagan follower questioned the authority of Hanumantha Rao in declaring that Rosaiah will remain the Chief Minister till 2014. He said the senior leaders should stop making such provocative statements.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Expected cost of power subsidy and purchase is reaching Rs 10,000 crores this year (plan was ~500 crs for the free electricity program). The rice subsidy is reaching ~5,000 cr bill from an estimated cost of ~100 crores. The famous Jalayajnam projects require ~20,000 crores per year. And there are not enough revenues. The state govt is not in a position to pay pensions and salaries on Oct 1st.

Please note: All including MMS, PC, MSAhluvalia were praising YSR for all his subsidy programs in 2009 elections.

For comparison Modi's Gujarat is growing at the same rate, if not better, without all these subsidies.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>1412 hectares of forest land for Samuel's memorial</b>

Unbelievable. But, since the TOIlet paper says so, it must be true.
So, the late lamented "dear leader" - when alive, grabs thousands of acres of land from impoverished, destitute farmers and <b>accomplishes mass conversions of the dispossessed under duress.</b> Now after the "dear leader" meets his maker (Amen), his sycophants want to grab thousands of acres of forest land (timesofindia.indiatimes.com/news/city/hyderabad/
1412-hectare-Nallamala-forest-land-for-YSR-memorial/articleshow/5053354.cms) to construct a memorial for their "dear leader", depriving even the animals and birds of their home!

I recall reading an article about some christist godman stating the imperative for soul harvesting even on other planets. Wonder if the bereaved christists want to dispossess, then baptise the homeless animals! Sound strange? Well, stranger things have happened in the history of these binary death cults. Like this query by one adherent of the "Religion of Peace" to a head Mullah - as to whether Shariah permits slaughter of Mermaids for food and the Mullah's response that Mermaids would be considered "Halal".     Man, <b>this dude is still grabbing land from beyond the grave.</b> Imagine, if he had been found alive on the 3rd day! No one could have stopped him from claiming to be the second coming of Jesus. Brrrrrrr! Anyway, his death seems to been causing some turmoil in the TTD. Perhaps there is some effort underway to purge or reduce christian influence in the Tirupati/Tirumala area......

<b>Chenchus are the representatives of the earliest genetic lines in India</b> from which the entire Eurasian sphere originated (including goras). there is some twisted 'self-goal' in targeting this community. They get to erase india central role in culture and civilization.

Yet another of YSR's schemes - identify all sources of temple revenue, and temple assets, while not extending the same courtesy to mosques or churches. What next?

<b>Portal on properties of temples launched</b>
HYDERABAD: A unique initiative of the government—‘Temples Portal’, a website of the Endowments Department---containing details of properties, jewellery, land, ‘hundi’ collections was launched by Chief Minister K. Rosaiah here on Friday.
Objective

<b>He said the objective of the website was to protect (protect it for christianism?) the properties of 37,602 temples as also make all public donations/offerings transparent.</b> The Endowments Act of 1967 when P.V. Narasimha Rao was Endowments Minister became the basis for many States to enact a similar legislation <b>as it proved to be the best</b>.
(Making public offerings transparent: To prevent any informal donations from slipping past the christoterrorist collector's net and actually going to the Temple and its services for once?)

On the proposed <b>appointment of an IAS officer for protecting temple properties</b>, the Chief Minister said a favourable decision would be taken shortly.
(A Hindu or another christoterrorist? TTD itself is already full of the latter.)

Earlier, <b>Endowments Minister Gade Venkata Reddy</b> said property details of 30,322 temples were included on the website.
(Cryptochristian? In the pay of the christians? Or a Hindu? I have to ask.)

Details of lands, lease amounts, shops and income earned through them, ‘hundi’ collections, temple deposits, details of jewellery (835 kg gold and 55,000 kg silver) were on display.

As decided earlier, the lease amounts on temple lands would be assessed in relation with market rates and the process would be completed by March next. Rents being collected from shops would also be rationalised. Encroachments would be removed and land records upgraded by June 2010.

<b>Encroachments</b>

He said officials were collecting details of sub-lease of shops/lands in violation of agreements.

Such agreements would be cancelled. <b>He said 34,813 acres of 4,30,033 acres belonging to temples have been encroached.</b>
(Poor and welcome Hindu puja flowers and Hindu pictures salespeople will be sent packing? Or Samuel's statue - rumoured to soon encroach - to be uprooted and sent back to where it came from?)

In a bid for early resolution of pending land disputes, a State-level special endowments tribunal had been constituted.

<b>Mr. Reddy said criminal action would be initiated against those who misuse temple funds.</b>
(Criminal action against Hindus who use Temple funds for the Temple and the poor Hindus? Or criminal action against the christoterrorist govt which diverts Tirupati donations to christoislamiterrorism?)

The Minister announced the constitution of a 21-member AP Dharmika Parishad with himself as the chairman.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
So many questions. Answers all depend on what Rosaiah and Endowments Minister Gade Venkata Reddy are.
