Today Kapil Sibal played dirtiest trick against Baba Ramdev. Congress Party is so rotten, they are so scared of bringing back foreign money back to India.

From beginning, it was Rahul Gandhi, Divijay Singh and Kapil Sibal were playing dirty game.

Maran stole a telephone exchange, looted BSNL

“Minister steals a telephone exchange, loots BSNL”

S GurumurthyExpress News ServiceLast Updated : 02 Jun 2011 09:49:50 AM IST

CHENNAI: Indeed a shocking, daring robbery. A telecom central minister from Tamil Nadu got the BSNL to connect 323 telephone lines to his home, not in Delhi where he had work, but in Chennai where he had none. He got all the 323 home lines listed not in his name but in the name of the Chief General Manager BSNL Chennai. These lines virtually constituted a telephone exchange in the minister’s home. It was exclusively used for his family business by laying 3.4 km long secret cable along public roads to connect the lines to the business premises. This had caused huge loss to BSNL. Who was that enterprising minister? The infamous A Raja? No. It is the famous Dayanidhi Maran; Raja’s predecessor, now the central Textile Minister. The CBI, which probed the fraud, wrote to the Secretary Telecom on 10.9.2007 recommending action against Maran for the fraud.

BJP alleges Chidambaram's role in 2G scam

http://www.dailypioneer.com/346076/BJP-a...-scam.html

Alleging Home Minister P. Chidambaram's role in the 2G spectrum allocation scam, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Wednesday demanded that the government should clarify on the issue.

"There was a role played by P. Chidambaram as the then finance minister in fixing the price at which the 2G spectrum was allocated in 2007," said BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman.

The party spokesperson said that the Supreme Court had also asked for the transcript of taped conversation between corporate lobbyist Niira Radia and former communications minister A. Raja related to Chidambaram.

She said petitions had also been filed to probe Chidambaram's role in the scam.

"In fixing price for allocation of 2G spectrum in 2007 at the price of 2001, clearly the then finance minister had a role. This is a very serious issue on which the government needs to explain the role of the then finance minister," she said.

"Despite a lot of questions being raised from various quarters, the prime minister is silent," she added.

Quote:What is Sonia Gandhi hiding?

Rajinder Puri

http://thestatesman.net/index.php?option...&Itemid=53

This is not the first time that the UPA chairperson has quietly gone abroad in a manner best described as being furtive. Why the secrecy? Why create the illusion in the public mind that she is in India when she is not, asks Rajinder Puri

On Monday, Tamil Nadu chief minister Miss Jayalalithaa visited Delhi. She met her Delhi counterpart Mrs Sheila Dikshit. India’s biggest TV channel blared: “Will Jaya also meet Sonia?” Was the channel unprofessionally ignorant or was it colluding with the exercise to

hide the furtive movements of Mrs Sonia Gandhi? Earlier on the same day, there was a statement issued by Mrs Gandhi deploring the murder of a prominent journalist in Mumbai. Was all this being done to create the illusion in the public mind that Mrs Gandhi was in India while she was not? This is not the first time that Mrs Gandhi has silently gone

abroad in a manner best described as being furtive. Why the secrecy?

What is the purpose of Mrs Gandhi’s undisclosed visits abroad?

An RTI applicant, Mr Ramesh Verma, had sought from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) details of the foreign visits of the Chairperson of the National Advisory Council (NAC) and Congress president Mrs Sonia Gandhi. The Central Information Commission (CIC) forwarded the application to the PMO. “It seems the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry had informed that the Central government had incurred no expenditure on the foreign visits Sonia Gandhi during the last 10 years,” CIC commissioner Mr Satyananda Mishra has stated. The application to the PMO was received on 26 February, 2010, transferred to the external affairs ministry on 16 March, 2010 and then forwarded to the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry on 26 March, 2010. However, it was not known by the Cabinet secretariat whether the RTI applicant had been provided with the information that was sought. The CIC commissioner criticised the PMO for its casual approach. The PMO did not obtain the information from the appropriate ministry after the query was specifically directed to it.

Congress leaders are frothing at the mouth demanding total transparency from members of civil society. Probes have been launched against some of them. Should not the government display equal transparency pertaining to India’s most powerful politician who is the chairperson of the ruling UPA coalition as well as the chairperson of the government’s NAC? They need to answer the following questions:

Did Mrs Gandhi travel abroad on an airline or by a private jet? If the latter, whose jet was it?

What was the purpose of the foreign visit made by the Chairperson of the NAC and the UPA?

What is the itinerary of the NAC Chairperson? Which countries and cities did she, or will she, visit?

And while they are at it, our worthy Congress leaders may as well also address these ancient and perennial questions:

Why does not the government refute the allegation made by a former member of the Soviet government’s official KGB Commission, confirmed by the official spokesman of the Russian government addressing the media, that the KGB had been donating funds to Mrs. Sonia Gandhi’s family, including her mother, since 1971? Why does the government not demand an apology from the author of the allegation and failing its receipt launch a defamation case against the author and the Russian government?

Why do the government and the Congress party not explain the purpose of the meeting between accused money launderer Hasan Ali and the political secretary of the Congress president, Mr Ahmed Patel, that was investigated and confirmed by Maharashtra police?

The public awaits from Congress leaders Mr Pranab Mukherjee, Mr Digvijay Singh, Mr Kapil Sibal, Mr Chidambaram and the rest, answers to these questions. Transparency, like charity, should begin at home.

Kanimozhi is best left in jail with a pimp and a spy in the adjacent cells. Her father should join her, and Maran will join her soon. This is a cheap drama enacted by the Italian to make the DMK the "fall guy". The bas***d Karuna is 86 years old, his son (redoubtably named Stalin) is dying of cancer, and his other son Azagiri (or something like that) is a petty village thug. So, the DMK is an easy target. Serves them right though. Do people realize how many innocent Tamil civilians are still in concentration camps in Sri Lanka, and were systematically slaughtered in the Sri Lankan civil war by the S-L armed forces, aided by Pakistan? Why hasn't the White Man (the world's self-appointed guardian of morality) tried to bring the PM and senior Sri-Lankan army officers to justice for gross human rights violations and genocide? At that time, if the DMK had threatened to withdraw support, the GoI would have been forced to intervene on humanitarian grounds to stop the genocide of innocent civilians.

However, this is besides the point. My question is why is that fat bas***d with a twisted mouth Sharad P not in jail. Everybody from Kashmir to Kanyakumari know of his dealings with Dawood and the ISI. Even his own business partner who is in Tihar for his role in the 2G scam, and who is in league with Dawood and the ISI, has named Sharad P. Evidence found by the CBI has implicated him. Telgi directly implicated him in the narco-test in the stamp paper scam. Still..............

PM should come clear on bugging issue: Advani
Quote:Senior BJP leader L K Advani today asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to come clear on the reported bugging of Pranab Mukherjee's office and took a dig at the "intelligent"

Finance Minister for believing that the substance found was a "chewing gum".

Terming it as a "serious issue", Advani said had it been a small matter, Pranab Mukherjee would not have complained to Singh in this regard.

"I had publicly said in Parliament that if Pranab Mukherjee would not have been there in the government, I wonder how it would function.

He is an intelligent person and hence I consider this a serious issue," he told a BJP rally here.

The senior BJP leader said the NDA will raise the issue in Parliament during the forthcoming Monsoon session.

Advani maintained that in his letter Mukherjee had asked the Prime Minister for a "secret investigation" into the suspected bugging of his office, indicating that this was a serious matter.

"There were adhesives found in 16 places but they said it was chewing gum. A small kid can come and paste chewing gum maybe in one or two places, but will he paste it in 16 places?" Advani asked.

The BJP Parliamentary Party chief did not spare the Prime Minister while taking digs at Mukherjee.

"The Prime Minister's case is different but I consider Pranab Mukherjee as being very intelligent. Hence, he should also consider the people of the country as intelligent. He should understand that the explanation given by those investigating that it was chewing gum will not be swallowed by anybody. Nobody will accept it," Advani said.

He insisted that the Prime Minister should place the whole truth behind this "shameful act".

Advani claimed that when he was a minister in the NDA government, there were many instances when he went to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and discussed the issues.

"I was in government for six years... (but) I did not write a single letter (to the PM)," Advani said. <img src='http://www.india-forum.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

BJP asks PM to show door to PC, Sibal

New Delhi: Ahead of the expected Cabinet reshuffle, the BJP on Saturday asked the Prime Minister to drop from his Cabinet Home Minister P Chidambaram and Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal as they were facing allegations of wrongdoing.

The primary reason behind this is the impossible standards of proof, as prescribed by our legislators, to prove any case in a court of law. Why should the investigating agencies alone bear the burden of proof? Why not change the law so that the accused has to prove that whatever he or his family possesses is honestly acquired? According to one report, India has 34,735 laws, which we are expected to comply with. Given these existing laws which are pro-accused and pro-criminal, the Lok Pal cannot end corruption. Instead of giving the benefit of doubt to the accused, why not offer it to society? The Ministry of Environment has proposed a fine of Rs 1 crore and a five-year-long jail term for showing cruelty to animals, which is much higher than what the corrupt get in this country.

However, eradicating corruption in the country is not an impossible task, as it is made out to be. What our leaders have to do, and the way they have to do it, is incredibly simple. Whether they are willing to do it or not is quite another matter. In the words of the Nike advertisement, the Government should get out there and “Just do it”. http://www.dailypioneer.com/352162/Its-n...graft.html
