Bhoja had a very long reign (1010 to 1055), hence it is difficult to place the period of the Chalukya-(Parmara+Chola) strife. However, Rajendra Chola ruled from 1014 to 1044. Someshwara I came to the throne in 1042. So the period should be between 1042-1044 I guess. Don't know the dates of the Kalachuri king. That could provide a further clue.

A very good article. I think a similar article should be done on the Hindu Shahiyas and their great struggle against Mahmud of Ghazni. Definitely about whom even the opposite camp (namely Al Biruni) said that they shed their blood like water for the defence of their land and that they were a noble line of kings, such men deserve our salute.
