Nan Khatai - my recipe

Oven temp 375
Time 11-12 mins check afterwards.

1/3 cup All purpose floor
1/3 cup suji
1/2 cup besan
1/8 tsp Baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon sliced Almonds
1 tablespoon sliced pistachio

Mix Sugar and Butter.
Add flour, suji, besan, baking Soda, salt, cardamom powder.
Mix well with hands or electric mixer.
Bake ball and use fork to cris cross on top and sprinkle Almonds and Pistatachos on each ball and lightly press it, so that it can stick.

makes 24 cookies.
