Hi,

I am from a university here in US. The Indian student association here is interested in raising funds for development programmes being carried out in India. AID and ASHA are well known. However they are looking for alternatives. I know that IDRF is one of them. If people know of any other NGO's, please post.

P.S: Strictly speaking this post does not belong to the discussion on IDRF. However I am posting here as this thread seems to be loosely related and also because my querry may get greater exposure. I will delete this if necessary.

Why are morons at FOSA leaving out just Pak-American Alliance? As if American Muslim Voice, Pakistanis at Stanford, Pakistan American Alliance, Progressive Muslim Union of North America are all different entities. OK OK, FOSA/AID , for "technical reasons" let us talk about Pak-Americn Alliance and American Muslim Voice.

Now this "Sundas" is used in Maharastra. It means orgin of this Madam or her Husband is from some "Sundas". I did some some search no luck except actual "Rest room".
