The proof is events ongoing on in Begumpet Police station. The police here have converted this police station into a platform for Christian teaching and Christian religious conversion. The walls in this police station are covered with verses from Bible. The victims who approach this police station are forced to read bible.

Police case if you don't read the bible verses

Normally women victims of domestic violence approach this police station. Under normal circumstances, both the victim and husband and counselled to comprise and come to an understanding and only if the counselling fails a case is registered. But in this police station the procedure is totally different. Victims who approach the police station for help are forced to read the bible verses written on the walls. The abuser or defendent is called to the station and forced to read bible. They are warned with rigorous punishment if they disobey. The police are achieving their wish by threatening severe mauling.

Responding to complaints from victims various TV channels including ETV-Eenadu visited the police station on tuesday. The inspector G R Reddy started abusing newspeople who were video recording the writings on the walls and interviewing victims. While abusing the newsmen with foul language pushing away the cameras he said " Shoot whatever you want. I will remove my shirt, I will remove my pant. shoot it!" Four policemen from Public Security Division of Seoul Metropolitan Police rough up Ven. Song Kwang at the entrance of Chogyesa Temple, the main headquarters temple of the order in Seoul at 9:30 am. The police had been blocking the driveway of the temple and he asked them to step aside so he could drive in and park. They hit him and used abusive language in response. Outraged lay people struggled with the police and a few people received injuries. The police escaped the scene when the protest by lay people escalated. Immediately after the incident, Police Chief Kim, Yonghwa and Kim, Hongjun, Director of the Public Security Division visit Chogyesa to make formal apology and to promise that police involved in the incident will be disciplined. The four perpetrators of the violence visited Chogyesa later that afternoon and apologized to the victim and laypeople involved and performed many prostrations in the temple.This is what christians do. Gobardhan Peetha is one of the four important mutts of Hindu faith in the country founded by Adi Sankaracharya.

Speaking at a press conference here, that the Hindu Seer, who got a threat letter from the outlawed CPI (Maoists), however indirectly attacking on Church said, "I am not perturbed by the threat call issued by an outfit. I see some others behind the nexus than the CPI (Maoists)."
The outfit in a threat letter, that sent to the Gobardhan Pitha in Puri, has alleged that the Hindu Seer has been spreading communal feelings and dividing society on religious lines.

The Seer charged that Congress led UPA Government at Centre is being patronizing anti-Hindu elements in the country. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi have been making all out effort to appease the minorities, he lambasted.

Minority appeasement is the root cause of all existing problem in the country, he argued.

"Majority Hindus are feeling prosecuted in a country like India," he added. For vote bank politics, they could go to any extent; the Seer charged referring to large-scale conversion from Hinduism to Christianity.

On being asked about additional security, the Seer replied ' I am not fear for my life but I am worry for the survival of Hindu society and its culture," The Shankaracharya however supported a Bandh call given by the Sangh Pariwar slated for December 25.

Recently, the Ministry of Home Affairs had directed Orissa Government to immediately provide Z category security for Puri Seer in view of threat to life. MHA reportedly received inputs from intelligence agencies regarding threat on Puri Seer's life.

On November 28, 2007, the Seer had received a threat mail from al-Qaeda, warning him of dire consequences if he does not embrace Islam. The disciples of Shankaracharya had received the postcard, carrying the threat.

Earlier, the Gobardhan mutt authorities, received a threat letter, which stated that the mutt would be blown up and the Seer eliminated.

Beloved compatriots and fellow activists!

We heard two emotional and fiery speeches a short while ago. They have spoken all what I wanted to say. Now I find my quiver empty of all arrows.

I have now turned tack on the matter of conversions in Chalakudy town. I am taking an opinion contrary to my earlier thoughts and I am now supporting Mr Oomen Chandy, the Christian leader of Congress(I) and ex Chief Minister of Kerala. Let me state firmly that no conversions, what so ever, have taken place here. Reason being that there was only one Christian in this world and he was crucified. There has been no Christian since, and there will never be, so how can there be any religious conversions? In the last two millennia there was only one Christian and he was not left alone to live his life in peace; he was crucified. So what is this allegation of religious conversion to some other religion? All these communities that you see have no relation to Christ or any resemblance to Christianity. Fully backing the assertion of Mr Oomen Chandy that there have been no religious conversions to Christianity, I stand before you all here today on this podium.

There is no need for any consternation, let there be no doubts or confusion, you have indeed come to the meeting of Hindu Aikya Vedi and not gone to some other venue. Believing that this Vedi is a place to air honest opinions, I am talking truthfully.

A certain newspaper which is notorious for its very flexible integrity will report tomorrow that the Saffron Brigades killed a priest in Thirutti-parambu, attempt was made on the lives of nuns in Olavanna panchayat near Calicut city, and with insatiate blood-lust the saffron militia has gathered in the Chalakudi market. There is a Malayalam newspaper, the Christian owned and managed Malayala Manorama, which peddles disinformation in the guise of news. Tomorrow's copy of that paper will be splashed with large banner headlines that the Hindu militants crazed with hate are staging a murderous dance of death in Chalakudi market.

This distinguished audience is well acquainted with the propaganda of the scheming missionaries. This is something not so familiar to me, reason being that there are not so much of that missionary cabal in the place where I am from, though they might have made plans to trickle in to that place. So the people over there are not familiar with the machinations of these "soul harvesters". If you ask us whether they will come by with their inducements like rice and dall powder, we cannot say for sure. You all here know the wiles of the missionaries more that I do, but still I am changing sides and stating that no conversions have taken place here.

The minority communities are not the ones who are responsible for the problems faced by the Hindu society. The politicians are not the ones who are responsible for the plight of the Hindu society, but we ourselves are, we and we alone. We cannot blame any one else. If we Hindus could realise who we are, if we could stand together, there would have been no need for all this moaning, wailing and breast-beating. For a long long time the Hindu has been crying. To stem the tears of the Hindu populace, when the Hindu organisations started asserting themselves, then the others started taking notice and became wary.

We are not born to cry and pity ourselves and bemoan our fate. If we had known ourselves, known our strengths, we would not have to suffer the attacks that we are facing today. Letâs scrutinize a few examples here. Mr Hari, the earlier speaker had stated that in Olavanna panchayat, when some nuns had tripped and fallen and bruised their knees, or some people had rudely stared at the nuns and made faces at them, all the legislators and politicians and alleged âcultural leadersâ had made a bee-line for Olavanna to commiserate with the nuns or may be even lift their cloaks to give them a massage, if need be.

From this very same Olavanna panchayat, at a shouting distance is the fishing village called Maaradu where some 25 odd men and women were grievously attacked. They were chased and hacked with axes and sickles. The attackers then burnt the victimsâ fishing boats and nets. Eight of the victims succumbed to the injuries and the rest too mutilated and maimed to work for a living.

We have elected one hundred and forty one legislators to the Kerala Assembly, but did even one of the wretched ingrates bother to visit the shell-shocked fishing community of Maaradu and offer words of solace?

The fault lies not with the one hundred and forty one legislators.
The fault lay with us, the Hindus who walked long distances to poling booths and elected the scum-bags.
The fault lay with us, the Hindus who repeatedly shout slogans in their support and re-elect them.
With the seriousness with which we bathe and apply sandal paste on our foreheads, with that same seriousness and dedication we mark our votes on just about any electoral symbol.
It is we the gullible Hindu populace who is responsible for our plight.
Do the legislators who having obtained the mandate from us even bother to spare us a thought or to shed a lone tear at our misery?

When a priest who was killed in violence Chief Minister Achyutanandan came to the funeral and touched the feet of the corpse and bowed in deep reverence. Did Comrade Achyutanandan ever bother to open his esteemed Stalinist mouth except to speak disparagingly of the heart-broken Hindu mothers who lost their sons in Maaradu jihadi assault? If none of the politicians could utter a single word of sympathy for the Hindu fisher folks in Maaradu, the fault lies entirely with us, we who did not bother to learn and know our place in history.

The Hindu youth who admired the politicians, hung on their every word, walked in processions for long distances shouting slogans in favour of these politicians, worked to increase the followers of the politicians and even killed and died for them, these unthinking, credulous Hindu youth are responsible for the plight of the Hindus.

Today, in the name of increasing the party base, the Marxist party follow the posteriors of the missionaries and jihadis like a loyal pet dog.

Pinarayi Vijayan said to the non-Hindus, "Continue your conversions. This society stands in solidarity with you. You have our partyâs backing."
Did the Hindu comrades note his words? Those who ought to have paid heed are the Hindu Comrades.
If we should avoid further social strife and caste conflicts we need to ask the Hindu Comrades.....

We recognise the Marxist Party neither by the faces of the Chief Ministers nor the administration carried out by them, nor by the wanton shut down of all economic activity in the name of strikes, but by the sight of party cadres coming at us twice a week with coin boxes like beggars. Those beggarly Marxist coin boxes had rattled on several occasions.

Let me ask those Hindu Comrades whose hands held the beggarly Marxist coin boxes.
For the known Gujarat,
for the unfamiliar Cuba,
for the Vietnam of which we have heard and
for innumerable places of which we have not even heard of,
the beggarly Marxist coin boxes had rattled.
In the name of aiding the religious minorities in Gujarat, the Marxist party cadre had even shipped off even their own underwear. But when the jihadis cut off the hands of the poor Hindu fishermen of Maaradu village, when the jihadis created such an air of intimidation that no Hindu dared step out, why did not those Marxist coin boxes rattle for those mothers of the Maaradu victims of jihad, for those mothers drenched in their own tears, let me ask of those Hindu Comrades whose hands held the Marxist coin boxes.

Did the Marxist party cadre not have the humanitarian obligation to give at least a handful of rice to those grieving mothers, to ask those women if they have eaten any thing at all that horrifying day? I say this because Maaradu was not a ward which gave Hindu organisations a majority of votes; rather it is a place where the BJP lost even its deposit, like in many other places. It is a Marxist party member who was returned from that ward. So it is a place full of Marxist families. Why didn't the coin box rattle in the aid of those Marxist families? The Hindu comradesâ holding those Marxist coin boxes in Chalakudy town take note, tomorrow, if your families are attacked by jihadis, these Marxist coin boxes will not rattle in support of your grief-stricken families. You must be conscious of the fact that these Marxist coin boxes will not rattle in support of your families when they are attacked by the murderous jihadis.

My people please don't expend your precious lives in vain, holding aloft political flags and walking for miles in processions. The Marxist look down upon us Hindus contemptuously as mere expendable pawns and cannon fodder for creating blood martyrs. The Marxist party have always sought votes by displaying lists and pictures of martyrs. Just publish those lists of martyrs and you will observe that they were all poor misguided Hindu youth. Those rotting away in jails for Marxist party are all Hindus. So it is the Hindu comrades who ought to think if they should continue to be expendable pawns, killing and perishing in the interests of the Marxist party.

Not knowing any thing about their religion, in complete ignorance of their ancient civilization their ancient, the Hindu comrades who followed the Marxist leaders like foolish gullible tail-wagging puppies ... it is these Hindu comrades who instilled so much self-confidence in the Marxist leaders.

Today, in Olavanna panchayat, Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan and his acolytes who pledged full support for religious conversion activities by missionaries need to think about yet another matter. In Olavanna's colonies of schedule castes there is much poverty, we agree. There is poverty in Olavanna, but who created this poverty? Who created this poverty amidst the people so that the missionaries could come and caste their greedy nets and "harvest souls" of the prey animals, the poor Hindus? Not just in Olavanna, but all over Kerala who pushed the Schedule Castes into the dark, dank, depraved depths of destitution?

Can the Marxist party escape responsibility for this? It is the Marxist party which is ruling Olavanna panchayat. From this Olavanna Schedule Caste ward no member who is not a Marxist has won any election to this day. Poverty alleviation topics discussed here earlier, like the Marxist sponsored "Peoples Plan" and a host of other schemes were all familiar to this Olavanna panchayat. Why did not these âschemesâ remove the poverty of the people here? Marxist party earned crores of Rupees in the guise of implementing "Peoples Plan" and other such schemes. Marxist newspaper âDeshaabhimaaniâ started editions in several wards. TV channels were started for people who are known more for the blue films they produced than for any public service. Marxist party started super-speciality hospitals. Did not the Marxist party earn so much wealth by squeezing the blood and sweat of the poor people?

The Block within which Olavanna panchayat falls is also ruled by this same Marxist party and so is the Zilla panchayat. Last five years Kerala state too was ruled by Marxist party. Now, who else, could be responsible for the poverty of the people? The Marxist party which ought to be shame faced for the poverty in Kerala blithely says âlet the Christian nuns be allowed to alleviate povertyâ. Then why for do we have governance? All we should need are nuns to remove poverty. If according to the Marxist party the nuns have the right to run soup kitchens and remove poverty, they why do we need any government at all? Do we have a government so that some politicians can steal public tax-payerâs money?

Are we ruled by British government or by the British East India Company in whose time the nuns had the free run of the country? The Marxist as well as Congress politicians who say that nuns have the right to serve the poor and remove poverty, why do such politicians remain in power? Let them resign all official positions, elected offices and quit public life.

The poverty of the people was created wilfully, wantonly, deliberately.

Marxist party rules West Bengal unchallenged while the people live in abject poverty. From Midnapur district of West Bengal we read reports of poverty stricken people committing suicides in droves. With no hope in sight they are taking their lives en mass.

Imported from Albania with the title, âmother of poor peopleâ, Mother Teresa when she died â¦. Did you not make the Chiefs of the Military carry her corpse? Did the Hindus react to that? The three highly respected military service chiefs who are the defenders of the sovereignty, honour and integrity of the nation were made to carry the corpse of that charity-monger Mother Teresa. If we had reacted at that time, now these nuns would not have gone to Olavanna for charity-mongering. The nuns would surely not have gone to Olavanna; we are the ones who are guilty of negligence.

Let us reflect deeply about this poverty. Exactly how do the Hindus become poverty stricken? Donât they have wealth? Yes, there are crores of Rupees accumulated in great temples like Guruvayur, Sabarimala, Ettumanur and Vaikom. We ordinary folks, thinking that we have no succour but the Lord, depositing the coins drenched in our sweat and tears, created huge wealth in those temples.

After every mandala kaalam, the government treasury directly receives 3000 crore Rupees from Sabarimala temple.

Guruvayur temple receives cash offerings from the devotees to the tune of one and a half crore Rupees every month.

If the Hindus could ever demand accountability for this vast accumulation of wealth, there would be no need for such a meeting here. We are guilty of negligence and apathy in this matter, both you and I. Have we ever enquired where all this wealth goes? Is Lord Krishna receiving all these coins every month after opening the Hundis? Is that what the Hindu believes? Whither go the crores, the gold and the silver amassing in the Hundis of that temple?

When the Hindu temples were squeezed of their wealth and when the Hindu populace was pushed into the depths of poverty making those people vulnerable prey animals to the predatory designs of the proselytising nuns, we ought to have reacted. Now things are gone too far. We have to react now with much vehemence and assert ourselves. There were occasions earlier when we could have asserted ourselves, but we did not and we stand guilty.

Did not the Marxist party carry out land reforms with great pomp and splendour, with drums and bugles in the name of removing poverty?

Arenât the Marxist party leaders proclaiming themselves the champions of the poor, having been the ones to have distributed land to the poor?

The poor landless agricultural workers had walked behind the Marxists in long processions mindlessly shouting slogans. In Kollam Zilla the Marxists used to go near cashew factory gates at closing times and herd the workers behind Marxist carrying placards and banners. The workers had no idea why they are walking in processions or what slogans they should utter. So they used to intone, âwhat ever the lords up front are saying, Zindabad!â Shouting âZindabadâ to what ever the Marxists were chanting, the poor had a great expectation.

The Marxists, who are adept at creating illusions, sold the landless poor a mesmeric slogan,
âthe lands we tend, fledgling bird, will one day be oursâ.

The poor of Olavanna panchayat have harvested grains, season after season, working bare back in the scorching sun, working the slushy rice fields; âthe lands we tend, fledgling, will one day be oursâ. Did the starving poor get those fields to work on? If they had been given those fields, then today they would not have had to shamefacedly queue up before the Nazerene nuns for the five kilogrammes of rice and half kilo of dall. Did they get the fields promised by the Marxists?

I had been to the Govindapuram Colony in Palakkad Zilla where there was an alleged act of untouchability. More than two hundred families of Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes are living in proximity which is too close for comfort. Did they get the lands promised by the Marxists? Sure they got squatter plots of four cents. When labourers are living in such alcohol laden slum conditions can they ever prosper? Can so many labourers find jobs and get sustainable incomes when they are concentrated in one place? What is the wonder if those jobless youth are poverty stricken? Can two hundred odd unskilled young men find steady jobs in one single panchayat? No, the Marxists intended that the poor should always remain poor. They should live in poverty because the âparty of the poorâ the Marxist party needs and feeds on poverty.

It is the failure of the social and economic policies of the government which is creating poverty. If so many unskilled workers are bundled off and made to stay in one place how will they find sustainable livelihood? They ought to have stationed in different places and then offered employment opportunities. But no, they should live in poverty because the âparty which roars for the poorâ the Marxist party for its survival those poor people to live always in poverty. Marxist party has as its ideology class conflict and for that class conflict there must always be a lot of poor people. Class conflict is the ideology of the Marxist party. For this there must always be a lot of pathetically poor people. Today in Olavanna Panchayat you see the result of poverty manufacture by the Marxist party. The Marxist party would never allow the people to become climb out of poverty.

The relocated labourers were plied with cheap alcohol and kept under conditions of desperate poverty so they will surrender in their alcoholic stupor, to the predatory designs of the charity-mongering long-robed nuns.

What was the objective of the so called land reforms? Distribution of surplus land to the landless was not the aim of land reforms. The Marxist motive behind the alleged land reforms was not to give land to the poor so they can have means to livelihood; rather the motive was to grab land from the Hindu. Crores of Rupees worth land vested with the Hindu temples as well as privately owned by the Hindus were appropriated in the guise of land reforms. Thousands of acres of Hindu lands were grabbed by the Marxists in the name of land reforms. When the vast lands owned by the temples were grabbed by the Marxist government the Hindu people did not react. Some white haired people from that generation are still present with us. Those people did not react, not out of fear or out of cowardice, but out of magnanimity. âService to janatha is service to Janardhanâ. Let peoples hunger be appeased first, we can serve the Lord later.

Today, for which temple archakaâs blood the missionary brigade is baying for, that same temple archakaâs family had given 2 acre of land for constructing a church. Now from that very same church the missionary brigade is issuing threats against that temple archaka. Whoâs fault is it? It is our fault and we should expect more of such assaults on us. There is a saying, âif there is a snake on the hedge, let it lie there, donât take it and wrap it around your neck, you will get bittenâ. This has precisely been our experience.

In the name of magnanimity, we have gifted away acres of ancestral land to churches and priests to plant crosses and now the snakes turn around and bite us. The newer generations have to see and learn from the experience of the naive and gullible older generation. Magnanimity is all right, so long as it is not a one way street. Magnanimity has to be met with magnanimity otherwise we must put a full stop to that magnanimity or we will be digging our own graves. It is no use bemoaning our fate. We are only reaping what we sowed earlier.

So this supposed reform of land was not meant to give land to the poor but to grab land from the Hindus. I am not joking here. There was a clause in the law stating that all excess lands need not be acquired; only the lands on which grain, coconut trees and cashew nut trees were grown need be acquired. Excess limits were fixed only for these lands. Do you know why? The pathetic Hindus had only these kinds of lands. Rice grain, coconut trees and cashew nut trees were grown on the lands owned by the pathetic Hindus. However there are thousands of acres where crops like ginger, rubber, cardamom and cloves are grown on lands owned by churches and Christians. There groups have an economic strangle hold over the state of Kerala, but their lands were not touched. Why donât the Marxists grab the lands owned by the Churches and Christians? Mind you these lands were defrauded and grabbed from the adivasis by the Christians.

Pastor Bernard whose native land is Kenya whoâs first President Gomo Kenyatta had a deep insight into Christianity. He said, âWhen the White Christians came to our land, we had the land and they had the Bible. They gave us the Bible and asked us to close our eyes and pray. When we opened our eyes after prayer we found that the White Christians had the land and we had that worthless Bibleâ. This is exactly what happened to the adivasis. The adivasis were given alcohol and tobacco and introduced to intoxicating stupor. In the alcoholic daze the adivasis were made to part with their lands. In many other cases the lands of the adivasis were grabbed by main force. Now in thousands of acres of adivasi lands the missionaries are raising cash crops and accumulating huge wealth, the wealth that is now used to offer blandishments to other Hindus to convert. If only we had stopped them then, we wouldnât have had to suffer now.

Now in our cities and towns the prime locations are occupied by churches and mosques. Where are those fierce left-wing ideologues that had appropriated Hindu temple lands? Why donât they grab these lands and give them to the landless poor? Or is it that the onerous responsibility of implementing socialism vested only with the Hindus, just like secularism is? Secularism is now the responsibility of the Hindus and not any others. Only Hindus need bear that odious burden.

Hindus are like the silk worm. They are both in the same state. The silk worm spins out of its own body fine delicate filaments that attract admiring, âOohs and Aahsâ from the spectators. Donât they also tell the Hindus, âOh, so tolerant Hindusâ, âOh, so magnanimous Hindusâ, âOh, so peaceful Hindusâ? Such flowery descriptions they have for the Hindus. Such flowery descriptions are reserved for the silkworm too. And what happens after that? The silkworm is boiled and killed and the silk is taken away and worn by others. The silk worm is trapped in its cocoon and killed for the sole reason that the silk cocoon makes very attractive silk.

Now just observe the state of affairs of the spider and its web. The spider web is a dirty, ugly, sticky and nasty thing which no one wants, but the spider traps its prey in its web. The spider has no use for any oneâs lavish praise. It does not care for flattery, but it traps its prey in its own web.

The Hindus state is like that of the silkworm. Trapped and choked to death in a fine web of tolerance, magnanimity, socialism and secularism. Those of missionary faiths spin entrapping webs of enticement, extremism or some times, out right oppression and they trap their prey.

We must think, do we want to be silkworms or predatory spiders? Of course, there will be people to find fault with others. But in the sorry state that the Hindus are in today, let us consider, whether we should be trapped in the high sounding words that others whisper in our ears and get boiled alive and killed like the silk worm? Time has long passed when we ought to have pondered whether we should be some oneâs prey animals or whether we should be a predatory species. If we refuse to think whether we should continue to live as prey animals, then we will have to answer to the succeeding generations, why we lost the lands and wealth given to us by our ancestors. Let us not have to make excuses for our mistakes. Let us not commit those mistakes in the first place.

From the murderous hands of the scheming politicians we need to retrieve the Hindu society. In my childhood days I have seen temple lands being alienated and the Hindu populace humiliated and the temples lying shattered. When Tippu Sultan invaded the Malabar province, his chariot wheels tore up the land and crushed the emotions of the Hindu people. In the wake of that murderous aggression, eighty percent of the temples were destroyed in Malabar. Most of temples that survived Tippuâs jihad against Malabar Hindus were levelled in the Moplah riots. The Mopilla riots are now spuriously labelled Mopilla Agrarian freedom struggle by the Kerala branch of the Chinese Communist Party, Marxist Party for short. The few temples that were still left standing when the British troops arrived to quell the Mopilla jihadis lost their lands to the Marxist land grab.

You and I remember our childhood day temples as places which did not have means even to light one single oil lamp in the evenings. Do you recall the government of that time granting any Hindu temple any funds or materials to conduct daily rituals? Do you recollect the government coming to the aid of the Hindu temples that were rendered destitute? So many temples were closed down for the want to funds to maintain them. The Government had the moral obligation to go to the aid of the Hindu temples, but did it? The Government had misappropriated crores of acres of landed property belonging to the Hindu temples. The government does not want destitute temples. But when we labour hard, save some money, donate to the temple and strive to make it a place where Hindus can gather for prayer, the rapacious secularism-touting government comes to grab what it can. What right has a government that mouths secularism to administer a temple? Donât the secular politicians have the duty to answer this question? Shouldnât we as voters take them to task for it? Let the government call itself a Hindu government and then administer Hindu temples. However if the government is secular then it has no right to administer Hindu temples. If the secular government considers itself as having the right to administer Hindu temples, then it must also administer Christian churches and Muslim mosques too. Do they dare do so? They will break out in sweat and quake in their boots even to think about it. It is not like grabbing the property of the shameless Hindus. It is a dangerous matter, trying to administer church or mosque property. We have seen the fall out of a nun being rubbed the wrong way. So, now if the government breaks out is sweat or if it quakes in it boots thinking of administer Christian churches and Muslim mosques, tell me, arenât we at fault when this government grabs our Hindu property?

Didnât this government appoint a Christian as the Guruvayur Temple Board member? The government appointed a Christian as the Guruvayur Temple Board member and we tolerated that.

The miserable wretch who thinks that the fall of a temple leads to the shattering of lots of superstition; does he go to the temple to protect it or to oppress it? Did you ever consider?

Several hundreds of thousands of acres of forest lands vested with the temples. Those too were grabbed by the government. But could the government protect those lands? Those confiscated temple lands are now occupied by Christians who are clearing the forest lands for ecologically destructive commercial mono-culture cropping.

What is the use of talking about protecting nature so late in the day? Did not the Hindus protect those precious forest lands as part of temple property? But the Marxist government that grabbed temple lands did not protect the forests.

A vicar was allegedly murdered in Tirutti-parambu village, but the place lying closed is not a church. A temple is shut down. Why? The local church was not closed even for one day, but the temple has its doors locked down. Who do you think is guilty? We, Hindus are guilty. We are guilty of being cowardly. We looked on with indifference and despair. If there were some men among us, men with manliness, would this have happened? If the people had backbone, if the society had strength of character, would its traditional place of worship been closed by any body? Why was the temple closed? Did the Hindu God commit murder? They want to close temples at some pretext or the other. They resent the functioning of temples, these commies and other anti-Hindu secular politicians, because they resent Hindu prosperity. They know that Hindu prosperity is closely intertwined with the healthy functioning of Hindu temples which are economic engines in their own right. The Hindu temples and temple properties belong to the Hindu people. The Hindu temples should take up the burden of alleviating poverty among the devotees. If Guruvayur temple uses its cash collections of one month, it can adopt a village and remove the poverty of its Hindu people. The temple funds are Hinduâs wealth and the Hindus have exclusive rights to it. Secularists and atheists have no business utilising temple funds.

Now the Sabarimala Aiyappa Temple season is fast approaching. You will see most of the Hindus taking vows to go to the Aiyappa Temple. The poor among the devotees will even pawn the wifeâs taali (mangal sutra) to raise funds for the pilgrimage to the Aiyappa Temple. If these pilgrims in their black outfits even touch a Kerala state Transport (KSRTC) bus, they will have to pay exorbitant charges. They charge us because we accept such unjust levy. Why do we pay such exorbitant charges? Let the KSRTC be shut down, we are not liable to bail out the KSRTC which was rundown by the misrule of the Christian-led Congress.

I havenât been to Sabarimala Temple, but I am sure all of you in the audience gathered before me have gone on that pilgrimage. We did not ask that the vehicles of the pilgrims to Sabarimala Temple should be parked at the far sway Nilackal. The Government has made parking ground at Nilackal for itsâ own convenience. The pilgrims are travelling by their own vehicles to Sabarimala just to avoid the KSRTC, however they are forced to park at Nilackal and made to take the KSRTC again. Each pilgrim has to pay Rs. 30 for the long ride to the Temple. Did we ask the Government to make the parking ground so far away from the Temple? Can there be a better scheme to squeeze the Hindu pilgrims of their money?

Now contrast this with Hajj pilgrimage of the Muslims from Kerala. The Hajjajis from Malabar province have to gather at Kondotti College for their trip to the Karipur International Airport. The same KSRTC sends superfast deluxe busses to fetch the hajjajis to the airport, a distance of 10 Km, the hajjajis donât have to pay even a single coin to the KSRTC. All they have to do is to alight from the KSRTC bus saying, âAs-salaam-aleikumâ and walk away. The hajjajis donât have to pay even 10 paise, the trip is free. A mere âAs-salaam-aleikumâ will take them from Kondotti College to Karipur International Airport. The Government does not get any revenue from this hajj trip. And but the Government owned KSRTC takes the hajjajis free of charge.

Why donât the Hindu pilgrims have such rights? Are we second class citizens? Arenât we entitled to a free trip? Isnât the Hindu, whose Sabarimala Aiyappa Temple contributes 3000 crore Rupees to the Kerala Treasury, entitled to a free trip from the parking lot to the Temple? What more evidence do you want for our incompetence and imbecility? We should be able to put a stop to this oppressive practice at least in this pilgrimage season.

The Hindu has an inclusive faith and a frame of mind which is tolerant of and is capable of accepting diverse forms of worship. He claims he has 33 crore gods, so he finds it not at all difficult to accept two more, Allah and Jehovah. The Hindu pilgrim to Sabarimala Aiyappa Temple goes to the shrine of Vavar, the Muslim follower of Lord Aiyappa and makes offerings there with the same piety and devotion with which he makes offerings at the shrine of Lord Aiyappa. However the control over the cash offerings at Vavar shrine does not vest with the secular, socialist politicians or with the Devaswom Board but with the mahallu committee.

With the cash offerings at Vavar shrine the can make swords to attack Hindus as it was done at Maaradu fishing village or at any other place, all that the Hindu has to do is to stick out his neck. With the offerings made by the pilgrims to the Aiyappa Temple the mahallu committee can make swords or bombs or guns or RDX or any thing else, it is their discretion.

On the contrary, the Hindu pilgrim has the right only to make offerings to the Aiyappa Temple and once the cash is given then the Hindu has no claims over it. The atheist, Hindu-baiting secular politicians will take charge of the temple hundi money. The poor Hindu people just stand like slaughter sheep, before the predatory long-gowned âbrides of Christâ.

So you see why the Hindu is poor? They have no control over their temple wealth. This is the state of affairs we need to change. If the Hindu should utilise Hinduâs wealth, then the Hinduâs temples need to be liberated from the politicianâs control. Only that way we can prevent efforts to conversion of poor people away from our faith. There is a lull in conversion activity, but know that it is temporary. Even this is because the people have acted in unison and with a show of strength. The RSS, the BJP and the Hindu Aikya Vedi are not responsible for the slowdown in proselytising activity. Of course, we will be glad to take credit for it. But the cessation in conversion is only temporary.

If the âbrides of Christâ and the âshepherdsâ understand only the language of force, then we are not left with any alternative but to talk in the language that they understand. In my native village some of these brides of Christâ and the âshepherdsâ came for charity mongering. They came with rice and dall in a great show of charity to the Hindu poor. The annoyed people laid in wait for them and spoke to the âbrides of Christâ and the âshepherdsâ in the only language they understood. After that incident they got the message and they never returned. So if the conversion brigade understands only the language of force then we feel compelled to use that language on them.

When one Hindu converts it is not a mere reduction of one from the strength of the Hindus, it is also an increase of one enemy for the country. This is what experience teaches us. So we will not allow the increase of the enemies of the country. Each neo-convert is filled with hatred for the ethos of this land and feels compelled to act like enemy and this we seek to prevent. Whether it is Nagaland or Mizoram or Kashmir or Pakistan or Bangladesh, experience teaches us that convertsâ to other religions act in hostility to us.

Why was Mother India vivisected? What was the reason for the partition? On the left shoulder and under the right armpit, the number of the Hindu happened to be a little less; this was the reason for the partition of India. The reduction of Hindus resulted in increase of the enemies of India. What resulted was a bloody slashing and chopping of the body of Mother India. They counted heads â¦ no â¦ they must have counted some thing else â¦ because counting heads will not tell you about the religious composition of a particular place â¦ so they must have counted some thing else! Didnât they not partition the ancestral property and walk away? Did they not check whether they are Hindu or Muslim and partition our ancestral property?

The Hindu has to learn the lesson. If the numerical strength of the Hindus decline there will be more enemies for India. India will have to be partitioned again. To prevent another partition of India, we will have to marshal all our forces. We cannot accept the increase of the strength of the enemy. We should be very aware and be conscious of the seriousness of this situation. It is not the politicians who fall for the schemes of Christian nuns. There are some unthinking wretches, some bleeding heart liberals who sigh in heart wrenching sympathy for the, oh so humane and compassionate brides of Christ. These brain-dead wretches are the ones who should have some sense knocked into them. The politicians are very aware of the motive of evangelical charity. The motive for charity is conversion and the politicians are very aware of it, but not the ignorant fools who consider themselves, liberal. The Marxists are very aware of the conversion agenda but they have a need for some votes and for some money too.

The Mother Teresa of whom I had talked earlier, lives as the âmother of the destitutesâ. The homeless of Calcutta were able to have at least on bowl of rice gruel a day. Calcuttaâs close neighbour is Bangladesh. That place is hopelessly mired in poverty. Why didnât Mother Teresa bother with Bangladesh? Why didnât she? This so-called âmother of the destituteâ didnât bother visiting the poor of Bangladesh even once. If she does so, she knows, she will not return in one piece. It is a Muslim country. They will not tolerate Christian conversion.

Here in Pattambi town where I hail from, you will see a sight in the early mornings. Come to the railway station when the trains heading north towards the city of Calicut city arrive, you will see large ranks of destitute Muslim women going off to beg in the houses of the Muslim affluent. The destitute Muslim women are starting their daily journey to beg for alms. Why donât these âbrides of Christâ go in the midst of the destitute Muslim women for some charity and hand out those bags of rice and dall? Like I said earlier, it will be a one-way trip. There will be no return at all! The Muslims donât suffer from the lack of sense that the Hindus do. The Muslims will teach the proselytisers a lesson the latter will never forget. The Christian âJeeva Kaarunyamâ slogan will carry no weight with the zealous Muslims and the Christians are fully aware of the Muslim reaction to any conversion attempts.

Just talk Christianity in Pakistan and there comes out, the sword. Pakistan is a neighbouring country. The secularists can visit that place easily. Let them see for themselves the result of trying to persuade the local Muslims to convert. So donât think that you can fabricate a huge cross and nail the Hindu on it, those days are gone.

You could not save your own Messiah, how do you think you can save us? Donât bother trying to save us from indigence or homelessness, we can do it ourselves. It is the Hindu who has faced and solved the problems facing the Hindu society. Yes, the Hindus have committed several blunders in the past and several distortions had crept into their society, but it is the Hindu alone who has carried out the necessary reforms to redeem the society. The Marxists need not puff themselves in pride. Marxists go to the colonies of schedule castes and schedule tribes and tell them that it is the Marxists who secure them the right to use the temple pond for bathing. Marxists allege that it is they who secured temple entry rights for other castes. In fact the Marxists have no role in this at all. Progressive minded Hindu thinkers, Hindu administrators, Hindu Kings and spiritual leaders like Acharya Chattambi Swami and Sree Narayana Gurudevan have been proactive in their efforts to cleanse the society of oppressive practices and the Hindu people have whole-heartedly backed such efforts. This is how the Hindu social reforms have come to fruition.

There are so many oppressive practices in the Muslim society, why donât the Marxists try to reform the Muslim society? You Marxists allege that you have caused the reforms of the Hindu society, now if that were true, why donât you attempt Muslim social reforms?

Lets go to 1987 when the Marxist biggies were still around, the aristocrat of Elamkulam Mana, E. M. S Nambudiripad was alive. They tried once to change the shariat. E.M.S had this fond hope of reforming the shariat. He made some statements against Muslim polygamy allowed by the shariat. Muslim protests stated in a flash! Death threats were issued against E.M.S and soon enough the Marxists backed down. There was a full stop to Shariat reforms. To this day the Marxists never uttered a squeak against the shariat. Are such cowards the ones who rid the Hindu society of iniquities? Please go and carry out your courageous reforms on other religions if you got the guts to do so? See if you Marxists are man enough to solve their problems.

The Hindus need to be very vigilant. Do you remember one evangelist Barnard from Kenya? Did we invite him over to solve our problems? In that Barnardâs Kenya, poverty is so endemic that vast swathes of the countryside is stricken. Why didnât he attempt to alleviate poverty among his compatriots? Why didnât he try to do some charity in his own country before coming here? `So the aim of Christian charity and compassion is not service to humanity. The aim of Christian charity and compassion is conversion. The aim of Christian charity and compassion is to increase the numbers of their club.

The missionaries also use the business of charity to corner for private profit, the vast amounts of money flowing in from abroad. This is nothing new.

My father studied in Malapuram zilla church school. He used to say that the missionaries used to take photographs of thin, skinny students. These students had never had their pictures taken before, so they happily posed for the photos. They later learned that the photos were sent abroad to churches and church backed bodies and we were represented as naked, starving masses living in darkness. The missionaries represented us as desperately longing for some Christian charity and Christian gospel. Huge amount of funds were sought in the name of converting us Hindus to Christianity. This is going on for over a hundred years and it must stop. We must put a stop to it. We must be aware of the sinister motive behind this so called Christian charity. The missionaries should not have the guts to approach a single Hindu home or a single colony in the name of Christian charity. The individual Hindus and the Hindu families should be aware of the sinister schemes of the missionaries and act in concert to protect their ancient culture and traditions for their future generations.

The day the Hindu becomes a forty nine percent minority, on that day this thing called secularism will become extinct in this country. Secularism is required only as long as the Hindu is not yet a minority.

Where is this secularism in Kashmir? There is no secularism in Kashmir. Do you know why? Kashmir is a Hindu minority place.

Where is secularism in Nagaland? Nagaland has been claimed for Christ. They donât want any thing to do with Hindu India.

Malaysia was a secular country until they discovered that Muslims have become the majority. They have no use for secularism any more.

So the day the Hindu becomes minority in India, on that day the office of secularism will be locked and barred for ever. Of course, secularism should be locked and thrown away. Secularism is functioning at our expense. We need to be aware and conscious of the fact.

Let the Hindu not exist merely for walking in long processions or holding placards or for shouting slogans. Remember, where there are naive folks there will be con artists. This is the way of the real world. Let the Hindu come out of the make-believe world and step into the real world. We must not allow the con artist missionaries to grab what is rightfully ours; not any more.

The politicians must not be allowed to use the Hindu temple wealth and then abuse the Hindus. We must rescue our temples from political control.

Physically confronting missionaries is mere temporary relief. What is necessary is a proper diagnosis and treatment to ensure a permanent cure.

The first treatment is to liberate temples and temple wealth from the control of non-Hindus. The second treatment is to recognise the politicians for what they stand for, discriminate between them and respond to them in the only way they understand, loss of elections. Vote only those individuals and parties, who are of any use to the Hindu, other wise we will not be able to live here later on.

Stop this habit of unthinkingly supporting just about any smooth-talking politician or any fancy ideology. Donât spend long hours discussing ideology, walking in processions behind politicians, shouting slogans. Try planting some crops like tapioca when your family is hungry they will get some thing to pluck and eat.

You know what happened to the Narendran Commission appointed by the Kerala Government to study the adequacy of representation for Backward Classes in the State public services. This is a back-door scheme to facilitate conversions to Islam and Catholism. Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leader, P.K. Kunhalikutty says Muslims need 7,000 more Kerala government jobs. After counting even the jobs of peons and sweepers, Mr Kunjalikutty says, Muslims are short of 7,000 jobs.

Do you know what is happening in Malabar? They count the number of Muslim students in lower primary school and make arrangements for teaching Arabic. This is happening not is Saudi Arabia, but in Kerala. Before a kid learns alphabets, he must become a pious Muslim by learning Arabic. The politicians feeding on Hindu temple wealth want to make Muslim students in Kerala learn to read Quoran in Arabic even before those kids learn their mother tongue, Malayalam. They want to appoint Arabic teachers in schools after counting the number of Muslim kids. Do those politicians, elected by the Hindus, bother with teaching Sanskrit to the Hindu kids? Do they care for Sanskrit, Indiaâs language, the language of our scriptures, the language of the Hindu scientific, medical and technical achievements?

In the Kerala legislature there was a discussion on shortage of umbrella repair artisans. On an inquiry it was found that the umbrella repair artisans who are mostly Muslims were appointed Arabic teachers in schools to meet the shortage of Arabic teachers. Even then Kunjalikutty says, it is not enough, Muslims want more government jobs.

In the name of religion, in the name of Islam, after making a political party called Muslim League, after standing for elections and getting elected for over thirty years, and getting in the name of Islam, one chief Minister, two deputy chief ministers and thirty seven ministers, they say Muslims are backward in Kerala. Christians say they are in dire economic straits, so save us. Let me ask those who seek to convert us, if you are socially backward and in dire economic straits, then why are you inviting us to join in your misery? Arenât you portraying the picture of heavenly plenitude when you seek to convert us to your religions? But Kunjalikutty says, even after ruling for all these years, Muslims are still socially backward. Then why are you trying to pull the Hindu into your backwardness? The Christian promises the Hindu the kingdom of heaven on earth, but the moment the convert crosses the fence he is a poverty stricken Christian. We should be able to ask why we need to share their poverty, otherwise they will continue to try and convert us.

When this Narendran Commission report gets published we should be able to ask the Kunjalikuttys of the world to count not merely the lowly paid posts of peons and sweepers, but also count the brand new luxury cars according to their ownersâ religions.
Let them count how many cars and lorries are owned by Hindus, Muslims and Christians.
Let them count and take stock of the luxury villas and mansions according to religions, how many are owned by Hindus, Muslims and Christians.
Let them check how much land is owned by Hindus, Muslims and Christians.
Let them check how much foreign remittances are flowing in to the pockets owned by Hindus, Muslims and Christians.
Then we know who has backwardness.

The poor pathetic Hindu tries to eek out a living through a lowly paid job and that is what the Narendran Commission is trying to despoil. They wonât even let the Hindu keep his body and soul together by working on a lowly paid job. The various commissions are appointed only to intimidate and harass the Hindu and we should be very aware of this fact. Be very aware and be very alert. If we slack off once again it will be the last time we do so.

The zeal with which we have come forward today to organise this function, we need to carry forward and put into practice. We should never allow any one to lock up our temples. Temples are Hindu assets, Hindu property and the Hindu has the right to carry out worship in the temples.

Atheists who claim that religion is the opium of the masses, has no business obstructing the Hindu worship in temples. Let us not allow any temples to lie disused. We must have the strength to force open any temples locked by any one or any power. We will conduct our prayers and rituals and any wealth that accrues to that temple should be used for the betterment of the Hindu society. If we cannot do this, then we will have to suffer lot more humiliations and deprivations.

There are no politicians to lead us, no social leaders to protect us, no intellectuals to enlighten us. We have to ponder in depth about our plight. The intellectuals and social activists who rushed to Olavanna and Tiruthi Parambu villages hearing about incidents against evangelists did not bother with Maaradu village where Hindu fisher families were slaughtered by local jihadis.

In our highly literate state, Kerala, there are bleeding-heart liberal poetesses who compose weepy dirges lamenting the death of crows who got electrocuted by over-head power lines! They even take to the state secretariat, funeral processions of those crows whose precious lives were erased by official apathy. But in Maaradu village, when Mrs Shyamalaâs life was shattered when both her sons were slaughtered by jihadis, right in front of her, no poems were composed by those poetesses who are otherwise bursting with songs. The incident was not soulful enough to inspire poems in those secularism-mongering poetesses. But when suicide bomber Israth was gunned down by the Gujarat police before she could kill the unarmed citizens of this country, those poetesses of Kerala were moved to compose poems to be published in the secular anti-Hindu media. Oh, yes, the death of any non-Hindu is occasion enough to create poems. The day we find the strength to grab those poem-writing hands and twist them into painful submission, that day our society will improve! Therefore organise and grow in strength.

The Easwar of this age, Kali Yugam, is sangham, or organisation and co-operative and concerted effort. Know this; God helps only those who help them selves. God is on the side of the bigger battalion. If you will not try to save yourselves, no body will help you, not even God.

Let the onus, of protecting ourselves and our temples, be on us. Let us not passively leave every thing to God. This is what the universe expects of us. Donât be passive prey animals, for our childrenâs sake, for the sake of the generations to come.

Let me end my discourse with a story. In Tamil Nadu there are lots of temples by the road side. One of the temples was a Ganapathy temple. A labourer was pulling a cart along side when a wheel of the cart sunk into a ditch. The labourer saw the Ganapathy temple and prostrated in front of the deity. He offered one coconut as offering and sought divine help in moving the heavily laden cart out of the ditch. The cart did not move. Sensing that he offered too less, he now raided the bid to two coconuts. Still there was no movement. Slowly he increased the bid to one hundred and eight coconuts and yet the cart remained where it was stuck. The labourer who was so full of piety and was imploring for divine intercession now leaped off the ground in frustrated fury and yelled, âno more coconuts for youâ, and proceeded to jack up the wheel using planks as levers. His strength ebbing away the labourer drenched in his sweat sank into the ground uttering one last prayer to the divinity and lo behold his cart started moving up and out of the ditch as though it was being pushed by and invisible elephant. The labourer was astonished; the Ganapathy who refused to help even when offered one hundred and eight coconuts, now comes to his aid with a mere prayer! Then he hears a disembodied voice, âGod is not your employee. God is not your employee to work for you after taking wages from you. God is that which gives you the reward for your efforts.â

If others are poaching our people from our faith, then it is not the gods who should prevent this, but we ourselves should. If we fight to prevent conversions, then Godâs blessings will be with us, have no doubts in this matter. We must act on behalf of Sanatana Dharma.

Arjuna didnât want a fight but he was compelled by Lord Krishna to take up weapons and then the Lord guided him unerringly to victory. Only if Partha takes up Gaandiva bow and fight on the side of Dharma will the Partha Saarathy grant victory to Arjuna.

Let valiant youth assembled before me transform into Arjunas and fight on the side of Dharma, this is my prayer to the Almighty.

When we are looking at the statements from Dhoti roys, Burkha dutts and Shrimati prakash Karat aka Brinda, we must look at few facts.
Whom to call a Liberal and who is a bigot. This is a question every Hindu( way of life i meant) must answer.

What is wrong with our culture/religion or way of life that we have become a Lamp post wherein every dog that comes around and needs to assert its presence goes on lifting its leg piss on it? If we look closely such subservient thought processes have been seen in all societies that have suffered the misfortune of being conquered and subjected to alien rule for some time. There are always people in all societies who confuse superiority of armed might with superiority of culture, who start despising themselves as belonging to an inferior breed and end by taking to the ways of the conqueror in order to regain self confidence, who begin finding faults with everything they have inherited from their forefathers, and who finally join hands with every force and factor which is out to subvert their ancestral society.

Viewed in this perspective, Pandit Nehru was no more than a self alienated Hindu, and Nehruism is not much more than Hindubaiting born out of and sustained by a deep seated sense of inferiority vis a vis Islam, Christianity, and the modern West.

centuries of muslim rule in medieval India had produced a whole class of such self alienated Hindus. They had interpreted the superiority of Muslim arms as symbolic of the superiority of Muslim culture. Over a period of time, they had come to think and behave like the conquerors and to look down upon their own people. They were most happy when employed in some Muslim establishment so that they might pass as members of the ruling elite. The only thing that could be said in their favour was that, for one reason or the other, they did not convert to Islam and merge themselves completely in Muslim society. But for the same reason, they had become Trojan horses of Islamic imperialism, and worked for pulling down the cultural defences of their own people.

The same class walked over to the British side when British arms became triumphant. They retained most of those and Hindu prejudices which they had borrowed from their Muslim masters, and cultivated some more which were contributed by the British establishment and the Christian missions. That is how the British rule became a divine dispensation for them. The most typical product of this double process was Raja Ram Mohun Roy. This joker maintained 2 houses one for Indians and another for Europeans( resplendent with European wives and butlers) and he courted the Europeans in this house. All thanks to the commie influenced education we read about him as a great saviour of Hinduism( as if all was bad before that). Every society has it's own horrific past - west had it's slave trade, burning of protestants alive. we never ever had slavery as an institution as we were a flowing religion, based on equality of human beings.

" Fortunately for Hindu society, however, the self alienated Hindu had not become a dominant factor during the Muslim rule. His class was confined to the urban centres where alone Muslim influence was present in a significant measure. The number of this b@st@rd breed was few and far between in the countryside where Muslim rule had never struck strong roots. So the self alienated Hindu existed and functioned only on the margins of Hindu society, and seldom in the mainstream."

All this changed with the coming of the British conquerors and the Christian missionaries. Their influence was not confined to the urban centres because their outposts had spread to the countryside as well. Secondly, they were equipped with a stock of ideas and the means for communicating them which were far more competent as compared to the corresponding equipment of Islam. And what made the big difference in the long run was that the education of Hindu children was taken over by the imperialist and the missionary establishments. As a cumulative result, the crop of self alienated Hindus multiplied fast and several fold. Add to that the blitzkrieg against authentic Hindus and in favour of the selfalienated Hindus mounted by the Communist apparatus built up by Soviet imperialism.
It is no less than a wonder in human history that Hindu society and culture not only survived the storm, but also produced a counter attack under Maharshi Dayananda, Swami Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo and Mahatma Gandhi such as earned for them the esteem of the world at large. Even so, the self alienated Hindus continued to multiply and flourish in a cultural miliu mostly dominated by the modem West. And they came to the top in the post independence period when no stalwart of the Hindu resurgence remained on the scene.

What is required in todays scenario is a moral equivalent of Swami Vivekanad who rouses the spirit of this great civilisation and make them believe in the greatness of the thought that makes us so unique. When I look at this and analyse what Bajrang dal is doing or has done,I am forced to ask this question. What's wrong being a hardline Hindu? I am proud of my heritage and will protect it at whatever cost. I don't need a certificate of being cultured from west minded/ leftist/ rationalists. I will make all out efforts to redeem my society of the ills and bring dignity to all even though I have no god in heart and mind.

I am ready to be a Bigot.

As for action by israel, I am all for it and I have mentioned many times, Terror can only be met with greater terror. Coward Dhimmis need to rooted out by not fighting with them but laughing at them - talking about stars and moon when they talk about oppression by bigoted hindus against Moslems. Talk about their sex lives, ask them , are they frustrated with their sex lives etc etc...

Bangalore: Tension prevailed for some time near HAL airport police station after a group of people approached the police and handed over three persons, who allegedly tried to convert others into a particular religion.

The three persons, including a couple, were later arrested by the police on charges of proselytism. Books and pamphlets used in the activity were also recovered from them. Two other persons who worked with the three are absconding.

The arrested persons are Rama Reddy (26) from Nanjareddy Colony, who came from Andhra Pradesh, Micoh Barbosa (35) and his wife Asmira Barbosa. Police said the crowd brought them from Murugeshpalya, where they allegedly tried to perform a conversion.

Micoh Barbaras is a native of Karwar and resident of Rajanakunte. The three were arrested on a complaint filed by Prabhod Kumar Das from Murageshpalya. He works in a private company.

According to police, the three visited Das' house for the past one week and persuaded him to change his religion. Das is a native of Orissa. Police said they also gave books and other reading material to Das.

On Sunday, the three came to Das' house while he was with a relative. Then Das went out and called some people from the colony and asked the three about their intention, after which the three spilled the beans.

In the complaint, Das stated that the accused were involved in "denigration of Hindu gods". The complaint also stated that the three persons promised him money and a job if he agreed to convert.

The three are in custody and will be taken to a court on Monday.

A sterling intellect, the 1946-born judge had an illustrious career at the bar, was Madras High Court Chief Justice, and now a judge of the apex court.

But he is no expert on the caste system, and like the Chief Justice of India, he has violated the 1997 âRestatement of Values of Judicial Life.â

In an unprovoked and outright attack upon all Hindu society, Justice Katju avers: âThe caste system is one of the greatest social evils plaguing India today. It is acting as a powerful social and political divisive force at a time when it is essential for us to stay united in order to face the challenges before our nation. It is a curse that must be speedily eradicated if we wish to progress.â

He does admit, however, that India was a rich nation with a global presence attested to by the discovery of Roman coins in south India , but calls this a feudal era for unknown reasons.(Rama and Mahavishnu too, BTW.)

Revealing differences of opinion between two benches of the same court, Justice R Basant of the Kerala High Court asked the CBI on Thursday to continue its probe with its existing team in the Sr Abhaya murder case despite an order from Justice K Hema of the same court that the probe should be supervised by more senior and efficient officials.

Justice Basant also said that there is no need to engage new officials to supervise the probe now and the probe could proceed under the supervision of the current higher officials, DIG Kanthaswami of the Chennai unit of the CBI and Joint Director (South) Ashok Kumar. The judgeâs order, in effect, struck off the basic demands of the order Justice Hema had made on January 1 while granting bail to the three accused in the case.

Explaining his standpoint, the judge said that a court considering bail pleas had no power to make observations that were final and could jeopardise investigations. Justice Basant made these significant observations while considering a CBI petition seeking removal of ambiguity in the context of two conflicting orders from different benches of the High Court.

The judge virtually listed out the limits of power of a court handling bail petitions in a clear message to Justice Hema who had in her order on the New Year day found fault with almost each step the CBI had taken in the investigations in the Sr Abhaya murder case. Justice Hema had granted bail to the three Church persons, Fr Thomas M Kottoor, Fr Jose Puthrukayil and Sr Seffi, a nun, the first, second and third accused respectively.Rest at link.

This time Kinnimul village of Jagatsingghpur district is in focus. Eight persons including seven women were forcefully tonsured by Hindus in the village alleged Christian organisations seeking even intervention of Orissa Governor M.M. Rajendran.

These eight tonsured people were paraded before press and electronic media in a Church premise at Bhubaneswar and were made to allege that their intolerant Hindu neighbourers tonsured them in their bid to convert them to Hindu religion.

However an on the spot investigation did not find any attempt for forceful conversion of Christians to Hindu fold. Rather found helpless parents shedding tears as missionaries took away their young daughters and even minor children converted them to Christianity and instigated them to defy the old cultural moorings of their society. Niranjan Bhoi of Kinnimul village is helpless. His two daughters Mamata (20) and Narmada (18) have left their house and are not coming back. The reason, Christians have distanced these girls from their family and are even up against their father looking for their marriages.

"My husband is mentally retarded and I see my future in my only son Sujit (18)", said Amitarani Jena of the same village with a choked voice. Mrs. Jena said that Christians have taken away her son and She is even not aware of his whereabouts. Mrs. Jena said that She has heard from her Christian neighbourers that Sujit is being given training in a Church at Bhubaneswar. "I am helpless" said She pleading before Christians to send back her son to the family fold.

The list adds up. The common allegation is - failed to convince senior people to change over to their religion even by allurement, Christians planningly are brainwashing their minor Children and gradually ditstancing them from their culture and even from their family.

Santosh Kumar Jena (14) a student of class IX with Bible in hand has all innocence to tell that he has been provided with bags of literature from local Christians. He has been urged to defy his parents to come to Church as that could fetch him money and good employment in future.

The Christians work itself is provocative and it is but natural for Hindus to develop hatred for them said Mr. Ashok Sahu, President of State Hindu Jagaran Samukhya (HJS). Mr. Sahu refuted Christian organisations' allegation that 8 people were forcefully tonsured by Hindus at kinnimul village

With rising consciousness among Hindus in the village, few people earlier converted to Christianity changed over to their original faith. Bothered over the development mandarins of Church brought eight people, tonsured them and produced before press to win sympathy, alleged Mr. Sahu.

Says Mrs. Amitarani Jena, "no body in our village was tonsured. Let they come and face us here to tell that they were tonsured in our village".

Christian organisations and even Congress party have demanded strong action against people responsible for `unleashing terror on Christians'. On the other hand HJS President Mr. Sahoo an Assam cadre IPS officer challenged the demand and said by converting minors to Christianity the Orissa Freedom of Religion Act (OFRA) has not only been violated but recommends strong punishment. "Now the Government should take such people to task who have converted minors in violation of a law that is in force since 1967 in the state" Mr. Sahu said. On the other hand All India Christian Council National General secretary Mr. John Dayal demanded a judicial probe into the incident and said that he has appealed the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to probe the matter alleging state Government inaction to bring the culprits to book. Mr. Dayal said this addressing a press conference here.

[This is an extract from a booklet âAnti Freedom of Faith Actsâ published by Christian Institute of Management, 1359/1, 11street, Vallalar Colony, I Block, Anna Nagar (W), Chennai- 600 040, India. Email <concern@eth.net>]

The Tamil Nadu Act against freedom of faith necessitates that some guidelines are given to all the full-time Christian workers serving in the state. The following was drafted by a team of legal professionals, heads of churches, mission agencies and institutions. This draft was again corrected by very responsible Christian leaders. This can be used with further modification to suit your needs.

We are taking every democratically ordained means, like the legislature, judiciary and executive to defend our freedom of faith and defeat this Act. However, we should avoid negative communal approach. The communal antisocial forces today in India would like to see the Christians also take to a communal divide. We should not fall into the trap. The Church is called by God to be a prophetic voice for the entire nation and bring healing and blessing to all peoples under all circumstances.

Our response has to be positive to accept the situation, as God allowed, in His sovereign will â for the ultimate good of His church, even if it is through unpleasant circumstances. The Lord is in control of every situation. The Church in each century has faced some difficulties in some parts of the world. Ultimately the sufferings have resulted in blessing.

According to the Acts in Tamil Nadu, MP, Arunachal and Orissa, Christian âconversionâ is understood as the act of baptism. âAbetting conversionâ is understood as any step aiding or leading to baptism.

The Tamil Nadu Act by and large will be used by communal anti-social forces to make false complaints to harass genuine evangelistic ministries, even if such complaints finally cannot stand in the court. However, their purpose of harassment will be achieved till the court acquits. Therefore what are suggested below are steps not only to avoid legal action, but also to avoid illegal harassment from anti-social forces.

1. Outsider participation: If a seeker from some other faith or non faith wants to attend weekly church or weekly Christian meeting or weekly Bible study, he is completely free to do so. You are at full liberty to allow him to do so. If a minor wants to attend, he can do so except that he should not sign any statement or declaration of religious nature.

2. Baptism: When a person from some other faith or non-faith wants to take baptism, you need to do the following:

a. The seeker needs to attend regular instruction in the Christian faith for 3 months or more. File some document as evidence that he attended such instruction. One simple way is to enroll the seeker in Bible correspondence Course. His filled-up correspondence lesson sheets sent to either you or the Bible Correspondence Course Centre is sufficient evidence of his study.

b. If the seeker is an illiterate or half literate provide him/her oral instruction for 3 months and some recorded evidence must be maintained like signature/ thumb impression as to attending such instruction classes.

c. Obtain a Declaration from the seeker signed by a Notary Public, that he/ she after due study of the Christian teachings, is voluntarily seeking admission in the faith / church without coercion, force, fraud, allurement, etc.

d. After the baptism, as per the Act, file the Intimation with the appropriate judicial officer. Study thoroughly the Act as well as the Rules of the Act, which will be published soon. This Intimation Form will be available in any Government publications center. Otherwise write to Christian Institute of Management.

3. Group Baptism: Avoid large group baptism as this has caused harmful publicity and resulting difficulties even though the seekers were genuine. On the other hand, an individual may not have the courage to take baptism fearing violence or harassment from anti social forces. It may be advisable that, in the case of the weaker sections of the society, a whole family is given baptism together, so that they can endure persecution together.

4. Minors: Do not give baptism to a minor from non-Christian faith unless his/ her parents request in writing for the same. Minors (from other faiths) should not sign any religious statements, without the consent of parents. Follow also the instructions given in Point No. 2 above.

5. Witnesses: In the case of baptism of minors, women, dalits or tribals, as a safeguard against harassment from anti-social forces, obtain the signatures of four or more witnesses in their Declaration seeking baptism. In case of a minor or a woman, the written assent of her father/husband/ closest male relative is very advisable besides other witnesses. This is suggested because some witnesses can turn hostile subsequently due to threat or harassment by anti-social forces.

6. Hospital evangelism: We can continue hospital evangelism as before. Literature can be distributed to patients and cab be prayed for the sick. Our literature can proclaim the teachings of Christ but should not ask for a pledge. The literature can offer further study, Bible Correspondence Course etc. but should not seek a pledge.

You can pray in general for all the sick in mission hospitals. The hospital staff may start their work with public prayer for healing for all. No one can object to it because it is âpractice of our faithâ in Christian medical institutions. A patient or his relatives who do not want to partake in it have the freedom to abstain from attending it.

However, if you are visiting a Govternment hospital or a private hospital, use discretion in ministering to the patients there. We can pray for a patient only with his /her interest and consent.

When you do community health care in villages and slums, you can start your morning work with public prayer as this is part of our âfaith practiceâ. Before doing the prayer, you must announce clearly that attending the prayer is optional for the villagers and those who want to abstain can do so.

7. Minority Institutions: Christian schools are minority institutions. Article 29 and 30 explicitly provide for practice of our faith in minority educational institutions. The phrase âinstitutions of their choiceâ interalia includes providing education along the lines of our minority religious identity. Therefore Christian schools can (and should) continue their morning song, prayer and Bible reading. However make sure that the songs, bible reading and prayer are devotional and of worship in content.

It must be announced in written form that the non-Christian children have liberty to be passive participants in the morning worship (not singing the song or saying the prayer, etc) Non-Christian children or parents who object to even passive participation in the morning worship have the option to join some other schools.

Christian schools can also have religious instruction classes but only outside the academic hours. However these classes are meant only for Christian children. Non-Christian children can attend Bible study classes in your school, only with the written consent of the parent/guardian.

8. Public Preaching: Preaching in public places, street preaching, tract distribution, etc. can continue as before but the crusade mindset must be avoided. More of songs and bhajans and the expounding of the teachings of Christ need to be done with more cultural and religious sensitivity. Criticising or condemning or comparing of other religious faiths or practices must be avoided.

9. Media: Television, radio, film and other mass media ministries can continue but with extraordinary cultural and social sensitivity, which is lacking today in many of our programmes.

10. Children ministries: In many rural, tribal and urban ministries children of all faiths eagerly attend our holistic children clubs/ literacy classes/ health clubs / Sunday schools, etc. They can continue to do so. However no child (from other faiths) should sign any religious declaration / pledge.

11. Orphanage / Children Homes / Christian Hostels: Taking care of orphans and poor is an explicit command given in the Bible. Therefore, under our Constitution this is practice of our religion. The orphan (and poor children) may be Christians as well as non-Christians. In case of non-Christian orphan/ destitute, you must obtain necessary permission for the child to be brought up in a Christian orphanage / childrenâs Home. Consult your lawyer on this or write to us. The child can undergo all the Christian disciplines of the orphanage/ childrenâs Home. However, the child (from other faith) should not write any religious declaration without parent / guardianâs written consent. See points no. 2,3,4, and 5.

12. Missions/ Social service / Development agencies: All your field workers can carry identity cards and also your organizationâs policy statement. The statement must state besides other things that:

a. The social service is offered to only Christian poor (if that is your policy) and strictly confine to Christian poor only. OR

b. The service is offered to all poor irrespective of race, religion, etc.

c. You are a Christian agency, therefore you will âpractice your religion in course of your service â like corporate prayer, Bible reading or worshipâ

d. No one is obliged to take part in the above âpractice of our faithâ unless they want to.

Consult your lawyer and draft necessary policy statement or contact CIM.

13. Public Relations: Wherever possible involve the local officers like the village chief, panchayat president, municipal councilor, MLA, police officer, etc in the inauguration or other functions of your social services. You must also participate as much as possible in all civic functions.

14. Venue of evangelistic meetings: Wherever feasible avoid holding evangelistic meetings in public grounds. Hold them in the church or Christian school ground. No one can object to a Christian evangelistic meeting being conducted in a Christian campus. But Christian celebrations like Yeshu Jayanthi or Easter or New Year can be conducted in public grounds. However, for evangelistic meeting for non- Christians (which is perceived rightly or wrongly as â Conversion activityâ) the most appropriate place is a Christian ground.

15. Literature: Pledge / declaration slip should be removed from all evangelistic literature. We are at liberty to appeal to the reader on the soundness of following Christ or His teachings but it is unwise, in the present context, to ask a reader / seeker to sign the pledge card.

Secondly, such literature may end up in the hands of minors and signing such a pledge (without the consent of parents) by the minor can raise problems.

All evangelistic literature meant for non - Christians should have Indian addresses and preferably Indian writers to avoid cultural insensitivity.

16. Cultural Sensitivity: We need to encourage more of culturally relevant modes of evangelism. We thank God for every form of effort by the universal church and God can use any method. However, in the context of the current communal sensitivity, we must weigh every one of our methods in presenting Christ to our fellow patriots.

17. Publicity: Some mega crusades with international have drawn unhealthy attention, with their out of proportion publicity material. More culturally suitable methods of evangelism need to be promoted in future.

Your e-mail, post and magazines in India and abroad are being read by others including the anti-social forces. Therefore use discretion in your publicity and reports as they can be misused against you.

18. Internationals: Use internationals, if need be, only in backup ministry like social, medical, educational, office or technical ministry but not in any front line evangelistic ministry. International can be used in spiritual ministry to Christians but not be used in evangelistic efforts meant for non -Christians. Internationals should not be taken to interior tribal areas or rural areas.

19. Vocabulary: We need to avoid all words of colonial era like âwinning, warfare, strategy, convert, conversionâ, etc. What we understand by these words is totally different from what the average non-Christian understands by them. Ask mature Christian leaders to read your literature before publishing.

20. Independent workers: There are many independent workers who need to relate to some network or fellowship. It is very important and urgent that they do so. This will serve double purpose. They will become accountable to some community of ministers in India. Secondly in time of need, harassment or opposition that community will stand behind them. If no network suits their kind of ministry, they can form their own network, bringing into it, all the ministries of their kind across the state.

Know your rights as a citizen. The booklets published by Indian Social Institute are invaluable guides in this respect. Consult responsible Christian leaders or write to us before taking any major steps in your work in relation to the above state Act.

If any one including the police makes any complaints, threats, or claim, insist that they make their complaint or case in writing. Do not respond to oral claims. Send CIM a copy of the complaints you receive. Consult your lawyer before responding to complaints.

We need to build up on our spiritual resources â increase our prayer efforts for the nation, for the Church and its mission, confess our own failings â especially in the area of Christian brotherhood and cultural sensitivity. Thereby we will overcome every obstacle.

You may find the above Guidelines useful till all the States Acts against freedom of faith are eliminated.

India is closing down camps and hands out little aid to refugees faced with a return to burnt out homes and churches. Hindu extremists, who have rampaged for several months, await them. Christians are refused employment and storekeepers refuse sales.

There is no sign that the long journey of suffering by Orissaâs Christian community is anywhere near its end. The government has decided to shut down refugee camps and force Christians to leave but no one is providing them with any guarantee as to their security against further violence once back home; instead, they are still the object of hatred and rejection.

Father Nithiya, a Franciscan, is among those who saw first hand this new, more subtle anti-Christian violence in Kandhamal. Here last August groups of radicals killed hundreds of people, setting fire to churches and homes, and destroying crops and fields.

Of the 50,000 people who fled the massacres, some 20,000 found refuge in camps set up by the government.

Father Nithiya, who is also executive secretary for the Justice and Peace Commission, visited some of the refugees from the village of Gobalpur, who underwent neurolinguistic therapies to help them overcome their trauma.

âGovernment-run refugee camps have been closed,â he told AsiaNews, âand people are being sent away with some money, about 10,000 rupees (or US$ 200).
