Teh Wikipees on INC leaders and minions shwoing US diplomats the money to pay RLD Ajit Singh group is very interesting. It shows a degree of initmacy between the inormants and their inteorloutors. Why would a INC leader's aide show the cash cache to a US diplomat unless he is accounting for it?

And recall how it played out. Despite this show of cash to US diplomats, the Ajit Singh RLD group voted against UPA. maybe they never got paid!

Second it was Amar Singh who invited attention to himself about the cash for votes to BJP MPs. And the media had poohpoohed the BJP Mps claims.

And yet the UPA got 22 votes unlike a close vote. So there were multiple cash for votes schemes going on at that time.

Congress Undemocratic Ideology - 4 - Guest - 03-18-2011

Remember, some ministers came to Parliament with bags with cash. At that time, Ambani's, US business, Moron Singh/Monthok Singh, INC , Amar Singh all were involved in bribing Left and right MPs.

These people are morally corrupt and nerve to glued to seats. Never seen such a shameless crowd.

Quote:The diplomatic cables leaked on WikiLeaks and published by The Hindu newspaper Thursday purportedly say that payoffs had been made to MPs to ensure a majority for the Congress-led government in the confidence vote following differences over the India-US nuclear deal.

Nachiketa Kapur, described as a political aide of Congress leader Satish Sharma, is quoted in the leaked cables as saying that a fund of Rs.50 crore had been formed to pay MPs.

According to the leaked cable: "Sharma's political aide mentioned to an embassy staff member in an aside on July 16 that Ajit Singh's (Rashtriya Lok Dal) RLD had been paid Rs.10 crore for each of their four MPs to support the government."

"Kapur showed the embassy employee two chests containing cash and said that around Rs.50-60 crore was lying around the house for use as pay-offs."

Coming soon after the infamous Radia tapes where the government eves-dropped on corporate communication in hotel rooms and other private spaces, the issue was raised in the Rajya Sabha by Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Tuesday during the Zero Hour.

Said Chandrasekhar: "Indian bloggers are vibrant stakeholders of democracy, they represent young thoughts and their initiatives play an important role in the Indian political system. Youth rely on the phenomenon called blogging for news, to exchange ideas, thoughts and there should no censorship or control of thought on the Internet".

He urged the Government "to prevent any form of censorship, any form of control over blogs, bloggers and Internet"

Is Sonia turning a blind eye to Congress MPs?
Quote:Congress chief Sonia Gandhi [ Images ] does not think she has anything worthwhile to tell her party MPs even though Congress MPs have been more than keen to listen to her views on a number of issues, including the numerous controversies hitting the party and the government.

In the current budget session of the Parliament, the general body of the Congress Parliamentary Party has not met even once and Friday is the last day. The CPP chairperson addresses the MPs at both the start and the end of the session where the MPs listen to her and get her views on various subjects.

Over the past few years this practice has been reduced to just once in the entire session, and this time she has done away with even that.

Sources say her managers are of the view that there is no hard and fast rule and there is no need for even this one interaction with the party MPs.

Initially, however, it used to be a different story. The general body of the CPP used to be a lively affair with MPs also 'allowed' to voice their views, ask questions, make suggestions and generally interact with the leader.

But over a period of time, Sonia Gandhi decided that only the leader would speak and the others would just listen and the tradition of MPs also talking in the meeting was halted.

And now the leader has decided not to speak.

Sonia Gandhi also does not participate in debates or intervenes on crucial subjects which may be of interest or importance to her as she had done on a few occasions earlier. She is regularly present in the House but mostly spends her time sitting quietly.

A senior leader said there is really no collective forum where the Congress MPs or senior leaders can interact with the party president and voice their views.

So much so that the highest decision making body, the Congress Working Committee, has been reduced to a mere formality as it does not meet regularly to discuss issues of crucial national or international importance.

The CWC has been reduced to a body which is called mainly to pass condolence resolutions at the death of a senior leader.

A CWC member cynically remarked that the next meeting would probably be to pass another condolence resolution.

The main task of the CWC has now shifted to the core committee which consists of just a handful of leaders who bring their expertise on every subject under the sun with the party, and the government not getting the benefit of the advice and experience of senior leaders who may offer varying view points on issues.

Senior leaders say the situation has come to such a pass that the Congress president has become more and more closed with just a few people who help in the decision making process, and there is no attempt to either consult a wider body nor to explain the actions of the leadership to a wider forum of party leaders and MPs.

This situation, they say, has resulted in both the party and the government floundering on key issues and this has become obvious to almost all those who have watched the party closely and its changing avatar.

Dictatorship and arrogance.

If the INC and its teams/allies lose a majority of the upcoming five states elections what will be the impact on MMS and UPA. Reason is that if there were wins in majority then INC would feel self confident to get rid of MMS and put their favored person in charge. However losses in majority would mean that they are weak and in no position to get rid of MMS. IOW these corruption issues being revealed are a protection for MMS?

There are multiple possibilities mostly in favor of congress party even in their loss.

(1) In TN DMK becomes vulenerable and it may work advantageous to INC at center. DMK will be a loyal partner. ADMK will try to break that relationship by trying to behave more loyal to INC. We have to see how that works. The loser will be Chidambaram.

(2) Left's loss in Kerala means more RS seats for INC which is another advantage

(3) West Bengal is a non issue for center. In case of massive Mamta win, INC can play politics of going with Left incase of her histrionics. If she loses, she will be loyal anyway. However, in both cases Pranab Da is going to become powerful over Chidu or MMS.

(4) The real change is Assam. If congress loses Assam then that is really something and for the first time congress will be losing inspite of demographic advantage. Mullas are divided and what that means is bringing in too many from Bangladesh as a voting block will backfire. The muslims are voting to different parties just like Hindus after reaching a threashold. I still cannot believe congress loss but this is the only interesting state in these elections.

Summary wise - RS will remain same due to wins in Kerala and WB but losses from Assam and TN. Congress will play Left over Mamta or Mamta over left in WB. In TN it can do the same with DMK and ADMK. But overall INC will weaken as it has to now play and not demand.

I see emergence of Pranab Da as sole replacer of MMS may take more space as Chidu will be sidelined.

Would love to see the above in a decision chart!

So real winner could be pranab mukherjee.

What will future wiki pees say!

And Assam is a turning point.

Politically US hold may go down with the rise of Antony via Kerala and Pranab Da via WB. Both of them will not allow F-16 or F/A-18. US cannot blackmail forever. The leaks will have no use.

In addition, 2G and MMS hold will go down if they lose Assam. INC will play everything in the book to create a coalition in Assam.

Pranab Da has good raport with both Left and Mamta. His rapport with both is bigger than what Sonia or MMS has over the two groups. It will be the Left that has to decide. It is in its interest to not fall in secularism and play united opposition role. Otherwise it will fall into Pranab Da trap only to tease Mamta.

I see a real loser in Chidambaram. Irrespective of ADMK going with INC or not, Amma just hates Chidu and she will be drawing blood. With DMK gone he will be vulenerable in both the fronts.

More and more scams and mud will come out...

Quote:New Delhi, May 11: The Congress leadership has finally woken up to the problem of communication deficit and started evolving strategies to counter the BJP, which has so far succeeded in winning the propaganda war.

Measures have been initiated to bolster the Congress’s communication system to handle the image problem more effectively after the Assembly election results on Friday.

Sources said leaders from all over the country had been called to Delhi over the past fortnight to get feedback on burning issues, particularly corruption and its effect on the Centre’s image, and asked to formulate mechanisms to counter the Opposition propaganda effectively.

The meetings were held in the party’s war room, where senior leaders like Ahmed Patel, Digvijay Singh and Ghulam Nabi Azad held brain-storming sessions with state unit chiefs and legislature party leaders.

Do these moron knows about corrupt Congress rule, high food price etc etc etc...

"No minister is willing to sign on files that could create even the hint of a controversy. Bureaucracy has sensed this caution. They refuse to take verbal instructions, insisting that the minister writes everything down. This has created a stalemate in all offices," says a senior bureaucrat.

The prime minister, unfortunately, is silent on everything, including even on the timing of the next, decisive reshuffle. "Anywhere outside India, he's seen as the leader of the government," says Guha.

But within the country, who's leading India now? http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics/nation/why-is-upa-government-in-trouble/articleshow/8817570.cms?curpg=2

Is SG a member of Bilderberg?

From bits and peices Bilderberg Group is meeting in Switzerland.

SG is out of country most likely in Switzerland. Suspect its the bank accounts being changed.

INC and media are issuing statements from her as if she is in India.

So there is something odd going on.

Ramana,

This year the Bilderberg group met in St. Moritz. Here is a "leaked list" of the attendees:

http://bilderberg2011.com/bilderberg-members/leaked-attendee-list-bilderberg-conference-june-9-12-2011-in-suvretta-house-hotel-st-moritz-switzerland/

SG and RG are currently in Zug. In any case, despite whatever arrogance they may display in India, neither SG nor RG have the IQ nor the personal stature to be members of the Bilderberg group! Notice that this time even Nooyi's name doesn't figure. So, I guess it's something to do with bank accounts!

Congress has reasons to be disappointed over the outcome of the meeting as it was hoping that political parties across the aisle would speak out against the inclusion of higher judiciary as well as the prime minister in the ambit of the Lokpal bill, thereby strengthening the government in its negotiations with Team Hazare. Even as the party spelt out its position, ally DMK did not provide any succour to the government as it sought the inclusion of the prime minister within Lokpal's ambit. After the meeting, Sushma Swaraj said BJP wanted a strong, effective and impartial Lokpal. "The government should bring the bill in the monsoon session and send it to the standing committee so that political parties, state governments and the public could give their views. After this, it can be discussed and passed in the winter session of Parliament." http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics/nation/reconcile-lokpal-drafts-opposition-to-govt/articleshow/9092623.cms

According to Politcsparty.

Today, Sonia is leaving for Europe, I think to hide every single penny in Italy. Each to park money with FAMILY.

Who is paying for Private Jet, which Cooperate house is shelling so much dole for Queen?

Reshuffle is delayed for now.
