There are three such obvious choices in the Manmohan Singh Ministry involving three very prominent faces handling three prominent portfolios. The obvious first is Railway Minister Lalu Prasad. He is now talking about starting Bullet Train between Patna and New Delhi .

The Bullet Train can wait. Yadav should be asked to first take a ride in the Patna-New Delhi Rajdhani and realise for himself what he has done to the hospitality service provided by the Indian Railway. Reels of newsprint have now been spent on Yadavâs misdeeds even by those media houses which were initially bought over by his account book jugglery declaring that the Railways were running into profit.

The next of course is the psychopath destroyer of institutions â Anbumani Ramadoss. In the five years that he handled the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, he only courted controversy. He did not conceive or visualize anything new, did not allow the plans sanctioned by the NDA Government to take off and destroyed institutions of excellence with his parochial outlook.

To allow him a free hand has been the biggest folly of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. But the Prime Minister doesnât hold himself responsible for any of the misdeeds of his Cabinet colleagues.

The third person of course is Minister for Woman and Child Development Renuka Chowdhary. 

This television savvy Minister with her each appearance on the TV comes across as a cantankerous person given to only quarrels and no work. Can a responsible Minister ever give a call like âPub Bharo ?â It would be appropriate to bring the charge of encouraging alcoholism against her. I do not know if the Minister, who projects herself as an educated and progressive person, is aware that encouraging alcoholism is against the Directive Principles of State Policy as enshrined in our constitution.

Her contribution in effective functioning of her socially crucial Ministry has been negligible. She has been only visible whenever there has been a ruckus created by the saffron renegades matching their misplaced machismo with her equally misplaced uttering.

And to top it off, this security is provided at the expense of the tax-payers. We have seen public outrage after 26/11, but apart from a few statements made by our leaders, little has been done on the security front. Dynastic or family control exists in almost all political parties and political associates take a back seat as family members take charge of a partyâs political agenda

Now it is well and clear that they are implementing communist agenda by controlling Indian population, reducing freedom of speech, censorship, media control, reducing credibility of Indian Embassies , other government agencies, Courts, destroy majority religion, dictatorship under 10 Janpath, etc..

Given the seriousness of the charges, many jurists and analysts feel the full text of Mr. Gopalaswamiâs letter should be made public. This would be apt, as the conduct of officials in constitutional posts, especially amidst allegations of bias, is a matter of public concern. Public anxieties are only aggravated when Union Ministers like Mr. Hansraj Bharadwaj aggressively attack the CEC and insist that controversial officials like Mr. Chawla will be promoted on Mr. Gopalaswamiâs retirement on April 20. I recently had a conversation with a guy and his wife at a relative's party. He is very well balanced and easy going, but woefully ill-informed on what the Ummah Pandering Alliance has done. When I told him that Hindu temple collections are diverted to muslim uses, he said, no, they go to support Amarnath yatra. He also was full of praise for MMS, said he brought in nuke deal..(oh brother)! Also said BJP had no charismatic leader. He asked me whether I was RSS, I said I am much more hardcore; RSS is volunteer org. I taught him several things about UPA's kartoot, and he looked like he had heard all that for the first time (which is absolutely possible).

There is a huge info gap that we need to fill here..these people are not inherently anti-Hindu. But they listen to anti-Hindu media, since there is almost nothing else out there (in English) except BJP/RSS publications, which they will not read, since they want to be seen as neutral. ToI, IE, NDTV, IBN, The Hindu ..all these are Kangi/Commie mouthpieces; but they do not show the Hand symbol or sickle-hammer next to their title page or on their screens, so these guys feel comfortable that they are reading "neutral" pieces.

Bright side, his wife is hardcore Hindu, and cannot stop badmouthing MMS, Sonia etc.. <!--emo& Big Grin

--UPA gives Hindu temple collections to Waqf and other muslim and christian orgs

--These orgs, not satisfied with using kaafir/unbeliever money, teach kids and adults that Hindus are bad, their ways are bad.

--People see all these convents coming up, they think christians are doing India a service by providing education. The people do not know where the money came from. Its Hindu money.

--Hindus cant open a Hindu school without being called terrorist/communal. Muslim/Christ schools..UPA will make everything go smoothly starting with the blueprint itself.

--Out texts never tell it like it is. Vote-bank considerations make UPA keep glorifying oppressors and denigrating Hindu achievements. Give us a true text; then I will be glad to let every Indian decide for him/herself. Right now they have no opportunity to make an informed decision as to who is an anti-national party and who is nationalist.

--90% of our English media is run by people who are religion-bound to wipe out Hinduism, which, to them, is the fountainhead of idolatry. Not just run by somebody who happens to be a christian/muslim, but by a sworn enemy of Hinduism.

--Please stop getting news from NDTV/IBN/ToI..read Pioneer.

--No one ever mentions the cause of Gujarat riots (56 Hindus burnt alive very much on purpose by a Muslim mob). And no one ever gets the numbers right either (250odd Hindus died, 750odd Muslims died).

--RSS has 70,000 volunteer schemes in India. Blood donation, well digging, teaching. People accuse RSS of being a taliban without even knowing what RSS is!

I am shocked to know through Mr. Shourie in these videos that in 2005 Bharat (misnomer: India) constructed only 14 km of Highway under the National Highway Development Project started by Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee's NDA government. I think that after MMS prostrated to his Hu Jin Tao with great devotion, Hu Jin would have said "Useful Idiot!" and kicked the prostrating MMS. MMS naturally felt deeply complimented ("Golly jee wiz. To be kicked by none other than Hu Jin Tao!!") and repeated the exercise. Hu Jin was benevolent enough to honour MMS again with another stomp on the head, and this would have kept going had not Hu Jin (the one universally recognised as being the cleverer of the two) said "This is enough, my leg is begining to hurt. Go back to Madame Sonia. Her left leg's muscles are better developed from having practised on you for so many years." Inside sources have it that at this exact moment MMS is being administered another kick on his nose by Santa Sonia - she is so expert at it, her aim is better than Hu Jin's. And rumour has it that Raoul John Paul Gandhi is already being trained in this important exercise by his mother, as it is part of the demanding role he has to fill in future in the position intended for him as Alien Queen Of India.

Hindus are understandably shocked at the idea of a person being kicked - moreover one so old as MMS - but one shouldn't be culturally insensitive, you know. It's the Khalistani-Kristian-Kommunist (KKK) way, and India being a psecular country, all such kkkultural exhibitions are to be respected.
Therefore, said Santa Sonia to her son the crown prince, do not "desist from kicking the venerable grand vizier". (In case anyone was wondering: the quoted bit of that line is from Narnia's 2nd book. Who knew that it would be so suited to a real life situation?)

The revelation by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) that the government has been overstating the spending on its flagship programmes and other schemes meant for the welfare of the aam aadmi is distressing, but not a surprise. The report, released two weeks ago, said that funds worth over Rs 51,000 crore allocated for these programmes in 2007-08 were actually transferred to the bank accounts of non-government organisations (NGOs), autonomous bodies and district authorities. The government was apparently clueless as to how these funds were actually used, as the accounts of these agencies were not subjected to any official checks. It was not surprising, therefore, as pointed out by the CAG, that these funds either remained unspent or were diverted to other, usually unspecified, purposes, thereby depriving the intended beneficiaries, mostly the poor. The CAG discovered that part of the money from the Social and Infrastructure Development Fund (SIDF) was actually spent on cultural activities, including celebration of the 150th year of the 1857 revolt, now called the first war of independence. To take another instance, of the Rs 20,000 crore or so collected under the Universal Service Obligation Fund between 2003 and 2008, by imposing a 5 per cent levy on telecom licensees' gross revenues, only Rs 6,000 crore were used for the intended purpose of subsidising rural telephony. The remaining amount was not even deposited in the Fund.Note that this 'NGO' money is Indian money (Hindu money stolen from temples and the Dharmic majority's taxes) which is then introduced back into India for the christianisation process, as if it emanates from 'benign christianism': money stolen from Hindus for christoterrorising Hindus, and advertised as christian charity.

Instead of looking at these facts, Sonia Gandhi and Renuka Chowdhury are planning to use the so-called Mangalore pub incident as a political weapon. They donât seem to realise what damage they are doing to India by their irresponsible behaviour.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi is reported to have said that she will fight the upcoming national elections on two issues: One concerning the attack on a pub in Mangalore and the other concerning the demolition of the Babri Masjid. The best advice that one can give to her is: Donât. On both issues, she will pay for her folly. The Muslim community in India will do the greatest good to itself and to its relations with the majority community if it graciously concedes the Ram Janmabhoomi to its Hindu claimants and not stand on prestige. All these years the Muslims have allowed themselves to be exploited by so-called âsecularistsâ and have needlessly alienated themselves from mainstream India, reaping no benefit whichever way. It has done neither the Muslims nor the Hindus any good. The time has come for the Muslims to change their mindset and concede graciously to the Hindusâ claim and thereby win the hearts and souls of their fellow citizens. The Muslims will lose nothing thereby.

On the other hand, they will gain the eternal gratitude of Hindus to whom the Ram Janmabhoomi has tremendous emotional significance. One positive step and that will strengthen Hindu-Muslim unity as never before. To both Muslims and Hindus it will be a win-win situation. By attempting to widen the gulf between the two communities Sonia Gandhi will render immense harm to the country which she professes to serve. A word to the wise should suffice. As for the Mangalore pub controversy, it has been plainly overplayed for political reasons and statements have been made by Congress leaders that call for strong condemnation.

According to Renuka Chowdhury, Women and Child Development Minister there has been âa complete breakdown of law and order in Karnatakaâ. Nothing of that sort has happened and by making such highly provocative remarks, the Minister has only hurt her own partyâs chances at the forthcoming polls. Complete breakdown of law and order? Really? What happened in Mumbai during the jehadi siege? Was it an example of high maintenance of law and order with the blood of a couple of hundred innocent people staining the earth? Mangaloreans can do without the patronage of the likes of Renuka Chowdhury and her boss. Besides, in the matter of young people visiting pubs, is the Minister aware of what is happening right under her nose in the capital?

According to a survey conducted by an NGO, called Campaign Against Drunken Driving (CADD) ânearly 80 per cent of those visiting pubs and bars in the Indian capital are below the age of 25 and that of the under-age population at Delhiâs pubs 67 per cent are below 21 years of ageâ. It would seem that Delhiâs excise laws ban the sale of liquor to or by anyone below 25 years and if an underage person is caught consuming alcohol, or if the vendor is caught, it could mean a fine of Rs 10,000. The CADD study found the laws ineffective, as nearly 33.9 per cent of those below the age of 16 easily procure alcohol from governmentâauthorise d liquor shops, bars and pubs.

According to a press report, the law also prohibits any person below the age of 25 years to be employed at any bar or pub and the offence is punishable with a fine of Rs 50,000 or imprisonment of three months to be levied on the outlet. Says a report in the Free Press Journal: (February 2) âStill nearly 55 per cent of those working as service attendants in bars and restaurants are young boys and girls below the age of 25. The research was conducted from December 2008 to January 2009 among 1,000 youth who go to the pubs and bars. Nearly 85 per cent of the youth surveyed were in the age group of 14-21, even though the legal drinking age is 25 yearsâ.

Can one believe that youngsters between the ages of 14 and 21 visit pubs and that too, in Delhi, where the government is run by the Congress party under the leadership of Sheila Dixit? How many of the youthful pub-patrons have ever been arrested and how many of the pubs have had to pay a fine? And what have Renuka Chowdhury and Sonia Gandhi to say about these revelations? According to the survey, in Delhi, annually about 2,000 youths under age 21 die from motor vehicle crashes, other unintentional injuries, homicides and suicides that involve underage drinking. Prince Singhal founder of CADD is quoted as saying: âUnderage drinking is a prelude to drunk driving and thus it is important to curb it in the initial stages, so that it does not end up as a habit among young individualsâ.

Another startling fact revealed was that the drinking age in Delhi has gone down from 28 to 19 years since 1990. CADD estimates that in another five to seven years, this figure may come down to 15 years. The survey found that it is not binding for liquor serving outlets or vends to verify the age of the consumer. Should we say that there is no law and order in Delhi? Obviously there isnât and the police look the other way when teenagers visit pubs. We do not have any information on how long these visitors stay at the bar or how much liquor they drink. Parents obviously are either unaware of what is going on or couldnât care less. One might damn the Shri Ram Sena to oneâs heartâs content for using violence, but at least they seem to care enough. At this point in time we have no statistics as to how old the girls serving drinks are and how many teenagers have been attending the Mangalore pub.

According to the CADD survey it is not binding for liquor serving outlets or vends to verify the age of the consumer; that can only encourage the youngsters to take advantage of such a situation. That all this is happening in Delhi and under a Congress administration suggests not only a weak government that does not care for people but a leadership that is engaged more in talk than in action. Before taking up the Mangalore pub issue as a stone to hit at the BJP, Sonia Gandhi would do well to set right matters within her own political jurisdiction. Both Sonia Gandhi and Renuka Chowdhury surely know what the Bible says: Judge not, least ye be judged.
