Pakistan is full of R1A, but it is filled with islam which dulls IQ and they all islamically marry their cousins which drops IQ by 8.
Instead of the dumb,
Aryan North vs Dravidian south theme, we should look at a tripartite scheme of R1A in NW India, L1 in South India, and H1 in North-central India
I bet not a single H1 ever shows up on these lists.
There is a long list of dumb sardarji jokes, but in reality Punjabi Khatris ( many of them Sikh ) , are next only to SIB in IQ, and even Jat Sikhs show up in these merit lists at rates better than most 'dravidian' forward castes
Among the South India castes, on this list, most are Telegu, esp Reddy, and very few Syrian xtian and very few Dravidianist FETNA-ites

Punjab is the region where R1A is the majority, and Indus valley is in Punjab
Punjab is also the area of the Lactase tolerant gene. Which allows for dairy farming, leading to holy cow.
Many of the so called lower castes in Punjab are also R1A
The Meghwals, a Dalit caste, are 55% ANI, Same as Tambrams and UP-Shrivastavas, and Meghwals are R1A, but they skin cattle.
Incidentally Bhanwari Devi, a Dalit woman who got murdered in Rajasthan, looks just like a brahmin woman, meaning she was from R1A. In north west India, almost all castes including dalit were R1A
And as R1A expanded, very few of the locals were given higher caste status
Archeologically the earliest Indic civilization is R1A and rooted in Punjab.
Implying a higher IQ for R1A.
There has been a very heavy expansion of R1A down the Ganges, and into South India,
In the Ganges region, R1A is 30% of the pop and 5% in South India.
And R1A is usually the top layer on any caste heirarchy
The earliest civilisation in South India, already shows heavy R1A ( Aryan sanskritic ) influence, but there is a distinct local pre-Aryan , cultural imprint,
L1 is rooted in South India
H1 is rooted among the MBC castes of Bihar ( stretching from Bangladesh to UP )
Bangladesh or east bengal did not receive civilisation until 1000 AD, and was vulnerable to islam
In the case of H1 there is no trace of any local pre-Aryan cultural imprint, thereby implying R1A > L1 > H1
H1 may have the same skin tone as L1, but facially look quite different
The caribbean Indians are predominantly H1, except for a few R1A brahmins
Often, you hear, India is 72% Aryan and 25% Dravidian in terms of language
The so called 72% Aryan is about 25% R1A ( Aryan DNA, Aryan language ) and
47% ( non-Aryan DNA - H1, Aryan Language )

Very crudely H1 = 50% of the Indian pop
H1 = Caribbean Indian and in the US, their performance is about 90 IQ
And the long term Average Indian IQ will be only slightly above 90 IQ
At the upper end, in the "India Shining - Bharat drowning" report. the top 5% of
Rajasthan and Orissa ( mostly R1A , NIB ) were scoring at the levels of the top 5% of Norway ( R1A ).

Decoding caste from names is actually not too difficult
Most North Indians and Non-brahmin south Indians put their sub-caste names as their last names
SIB dont use caste names, due to anti-brahmin movement, and instead use place names for last name and their first names are extremely Sanskrtitic

FETNAites are almost entirely absent from the list of Indians on National Merit list,
They need to stop banging their 1st cousins and losing 8 IQ
perhaps the poor dears will ask for reservation in US too,
Too bad, there is already an anti-Indian quota in the US.

If a caste has a high IQ, and even if only a few hundred migrate to US, they will show up in these lists
On the other hand, there are castes with tens of thousands in the US, and if their IQ is not High, they will never show up in these lists

The Sri Lankan civil war started due to Sinhalese wanting quotas against the Tamils. And almost no SIB in Sri Lanka
In the above lists, except for SIB, just a handful of tamils made it,
Which means Sinhalese IQ must be much much lower than Tamil IQ, perhaps almost at black levels
Thats due to enstupidation of buddhist societies, due to celibacy of monks ( the higher IQ segment )

My earlier hypothesis was that since , SIB > NIB, every south Indian caste was higher IQ than its equivalent North Indian caste
But, all hypothesis must be checked against actual data
The National Merit lists represent 2nd generation regression to mean and is a large scale study
At the lower end of IQ, L1 > H1, so at the OBC to dalit level, SI > NI
At the high end, SIB > NIB
At the upper-middle levels, NI bania > SI bania
The overall summary is like this
SIB ( R1A ) > NIB ( R1A ) > NI bania ( R1A ) > SI bania ( L1 ) > SI MBC ( L1 ) > NI MBC ( H1 )
The caveat being some of the NI bania like Khatri and Jain are above NIB
Jains and Khatri like SIB are a small caste of a few million and there despite active efforts at outbreeding, with such a small population, there has to be some inbreeding at probably the 3rd cousin level, which probably concentrated IQ genes
I am not sure of what the inherent IQ of L1 is, but right now it is -8 IQ due to 1st cousin marriages
I have one other theory of the anomaly of the SIB IQ, that is , most SIB were invited by SI kings from North India
and given gold and lands. I am sure that the SI kings would not have picked the random NIB, but rather a more select subset of NIB, that had already distinguished themselvess in some IQ related way. Such as better memorisation and chanting of Sanskrit texts, etc
A similar scenario might also explain the higher IQ of bengali brahmins vs generic NIB
In North India, There is not much of an IQ gap from brahmin to bania and the gap from brahmin to Jat, while present, visually they look very similar
SI bania score at Jat levels, and SIB > NIB, so there is a huge IQ chasm from SIB to SI bania, and add to it the visual difference in looks, leads to 69% quota
