Shalom.

Welcome to the India-Forum.

I suggest you start a Thread "India-Israel" (Alphabetical Order) Defence Co-operation.

Alternatively <b>Viren</b> can start a new Thread.

La Chaim - Now I have come to the end of my Hebrew knowledge.

Guys,
<b>Check this site out:</b>

http://www.littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/

One Mr.Charles runs this very successful weblog with a pro-Israel perspective, at times effectively highlightening Pakistan, its Islamism and Nukes. Take a long look at the back pages and you will understand why I think this Charles is doing a great job.

The blog is a fantastic resource and has been quoted by many Columnists and Editorials of WP, NYT, etc. An apt example of how common Internet denizens can influence the traditional media mafia.

Kindly participate whenever possible. We got to spread the word instead of just the Indo forums.

WOW - you people are amazing....so much "nation building" spirit in you. I am totally converted to a pro-indian lad here...many thanks to Jagan and ravi ashin.
you Indians have a amazing ability to tolerate and forgive...something i need to learn ...also these days i have been doing yoga and intend to become a vegetarian. in fact just week of yoga and veg diet has made me feel much better. Also i love the food here...specially the black pulse with curry chicken and mutton..and big soft butter pancakes...sorry going off topic
Now lets get down to some serious stuff....
I am going to key in all i can recall of what i posted on PDF forum...rest of you guys key in things i leave out.

2) High Power Microwave Weapons
pictures are: http://www.mw-line.at/news_pitures/mw_bi...design.jpg
http://www.mw-line.at/news_pitures/mw_bi...rinzip.gif

3) purchase of MOAB type kits from russia including
4) article on e-bombs, old but good enough http://www.saag.org/papers9/paper856.html
5) Elbit with Arjun/Tank-Ex.....Elbit also is marketing a new threat-detection system for armored vehicles that gives a warning when a target is being painted by a laser target designator for an antitank missile, such as the KBP Kornet from Russia. Kornet missiles used by Iraqi irregular formations were responsible for damaging and disabling a number of U.S. Army M-1 tanks and other armored vehicles.
<b> The Elbit threat-detection system, shown recently at the Latin American Defense show in Brazil, can “not only tell that the missile operator is painting you from behind the bushes at the side of the road but which bush he is behind,”</b>
6) Reccelite reconnaissance pod, built into the same container that houses Rafael’s Litening targeting pod. Reccelite encompasses a day/night all-digital photo recon system that can be stored as data or transmitted real time.
7) Rafael systems–Skyshield, X-Guard and TopScan–have come out from under wraps and are offered as a suite of add-ons to fighter aircraft. Using the three, a strike group can enter enemy airspace by employing TopScan–an electronic support measures and electronic emissions sensor–to identify air defense sites passively, then suppressing these radar sites with the Skyshield active jammer and, finally, defeating any missiles launched against them using the X-Guard fiberoptic towed decoy.
8) Rosa/Renet E from russia...almost completed deployment.
9) MRI devices and python-5 ordered...MRI 200 devices already being shiped. i think i recently found a link on BR by HIMANSHU that suttely says about TI and <b>other similar devices</b>...or something like that...they are actually saying MRI...its a artile of 27th Jan from some newspaper. Found the link : [URL=http://pakistanidefence.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=25414]
10) Tadiran [35% contribution] and symanukta EW system inducted recently. It does have some tech-transfer from s.africa too...but we built on it. Tadiran introduced a new-generation architecture based on a high frequency, error-correcting technology that permits total integration of all communication nodes and methods–voice, data, fax and e-mail into a secure local area network (LAN). This means that, “an intel officer using his secure phone can talk to a special forces operative using a field radio 1,000 km from his location.” The system, is also harder to degrade in times of war “because it [operates through] a LAN and not via satellite as some U.S. and European communication networks do. Satellites, unfortunately, can be disabled or interfered with.
11) mmmm..what else was there..oh ya.. EW for InAf similar to f-16 sufa EWS package.
12) there was the tikri 2 or 3 EW project which recently saw complete induction in kashmer...the direct result was ...he he he top secret sorry..but it led to a lot of top notch terrorists killed.
13) Sattlite venture of carosat 1 and Isreal...make a freaking Ofek 5 ..actually better i think..my knowledge is not too strong on this one
<b>....OK lads what else was there?? </b>
HEY WHERE IS MY WINDY-505 Picture....i need you guys to get hold of one so that i can tell you some facinating stuff we did on that....
14) OH just remembered India also getting SPIKE 2

Indian firm to make Israeli missiles

UNI

January, 28

In a major outsourcing agreement, Bharat Dynamics Limited would soon start manufacturing Israeli Rafael missiles at its Bangalore facility, a senior Israeli company official said today.

Lova Drori, Rafael Armament Development Authority Limited's head of the international marketing division, said that a memorandum of understanding was signed with Bharat Dynamic Limited during the visit of an Indian defence delegation towards the end of November, and they are very close to reaching an agreement.

Drori also said that Rafael was close to reaching an agreement with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL) in developing communication systems and anti-missile system for helicopters.

Representatives of leading Indian defence companies, led by Atul Kirloskar from the CII, had presented their expertise in various fields during the visit and had called upon Israeli companies to outsource to Indian companies some of their requirements instead of European and other countries they have been relying so far.

Rafael Armament Development Authority Limited would participate in the forthcoming Defence Expo in Delhi and has combined with Indian companies, Tata and Medec, for presentation of its products.

he he he he he see now its out in the newspaper...so someone did pick up the phone in MoD and call local media lads <!--emo&Smile--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> <b>Now anyone having doubts on me info should be at ease</b> i had mentioned outsourcing of defense kits at PDF...all monitioring recall. Graduate
Here is one more. Tunguska is getting a EW suite too and advanced accusation & targeting/guidance systems including display panels from us. Also being added is is a new longer distance active/passive muti-track radar and jamming system. There will be 100% technology transfer after 30% of the products are purchased off shelf. Atleast a unit will be functional before local production starts. ofcource the prototype trials were have passed end user requirements.
This is to make the vehicle a multi-purpose functioning system in the battlefield, rather than just a advanced AD system. It is more like 3 systems in one.
After the modifications we believe this will be the top of the line AD system and unique in many of its functions.
The incorporated systems will have built-in test systems minimizing field maintenance issues and also modular..
The ECM environment efficiency will also increase considerably.

Israel wants India to stop voting for 'anti-Israel resolutions'

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom on Wednesday urged India to stop supporting "anti-Israeli resolutions" in the UN and said Tel Aviv might boycott the International Court of Justice (ICJ) hearing on the country's controversial security fence.

"We are trying to change the way of voting of members of the UN (including India)," Shalom, who concluded a four-day visit to India, told a press conference.

Shalom, who is also foreign minister, called on Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Defence Minister George Fernandes on Wednesday and described the meetings as "very good"
