Mudy, I don't know where the following terrorist attacks on Kashmiri Hindus go. There are so many, it's rather hard to organise. So I'll put them all here. Also refer to Sunder's post 16:

Kashmir
- Friday, 21 December, 2001:
Anantnag district: village of Poshkreeri near Bijbehara and Hogam village.
"the killing of five Sikh and Hindu women in two separate incidents late on Friday."
"Mr Suri [director general of state police, Ashok Kumar Suri] says they could be militants of Lashkar-e-Toyeba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen or the Hizbul Mujahideen who may have retaliated against India's decision to recall its high commissioner from Pakistan in the wake of the attack on the Indian Parliament."

- Oct 2001 - attack on Kashmir state assembly:

Lashkar's professed ideology goes beyond merely challenging Indian rule in the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir. In a pamphlet entitled Why Are We Waging Jihad, the group defines its agenda as the restoration of Islamic rule over all parts of India.

In 2000 its activists carried out controversial armed attacks inside the Red Fort in Delhi and attempted to assassinate the Bombay-based hard-line Hindu leader Bal Thackery of the Shiv Sena party.

Husky,
At this stage, collect news with newspaper proof. Indian Newspapers are very biased and hide information when Islamists are involved. News paper skips mentioning Hindus even when attacks are inside temple or Amarnath Yatra or Diwali or Ayodhya. They either mention Indian died or attackers were militant or terrorist. They skip religion. We know or can figure out religion by name but it’s sometime difficult to convince outsiders.

It is difficult task, to create “media proof” based database.
Even whatever we have, we are doing pretty good to collect information.

Although similar information may be found at another site satp.org, what I have found missing is putting some names and faces of the attackers online.

It will be really helpful, if through the coming years we can start doing that.

Information such as:

Name of perpetrators:
Age:
Location of Residence: Mohalla, City, State

Just a suggestion. Will contribute as time permits. Thanks.
