<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Nosey hack</b>
Rumour has it that <b>two venerable, bearded gentlemen were in the Chinese massage parlour when it was raided last month </b>by zealots of Isloo’s Red Mosque. This was a most embarrassing encounter and the gentlemen muttered something about having accompanied an ailing relative to the parlour before they were asked to slip out of the joint quickly via a safe passage. A nosey hack uncovered this incident and ran a story in Isloo’s vernacular press

In daily Nawa-e-Waqt, columnist Allama Choudhry Asghar Ali Kausar Warriach wrote that intelligent students of Karachi visited Data Darbar to pray for the future of Pakistan. They were invited by Majid Nizami, chairman of the Ideology of Pakistan Foundation (IPF). As reported in daily Express, in Farooqabad the keeper of the darbar Bhoori Wali Sarkar, Ghulam Sarwar, was slaughtered by a butcher, Mohammad Irfan, in front of hundreds of devotees and a police contingent. <!--emo&:o--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' /><!--endemo--> The culprit said that he is waging jihad against evil, and he wanted to kill Naseebo Lal, who was coming to perform there. <b>General Babar wants Lal Masjid clerics punished</b>
As reported in daily Express, Ex-Interior Minister and central leader of Pakistan Peoples’ Party Major General Naseerullah Babar said the government shall pursue the case against the clerics of Lal Masjid and punish the terrorists who are hiding behind the name of Islam. <b>Ume Hassan claims 80 corpses were inside Jamia Hafsa </b>
As reported in daily Express, the Lal Masjid administration claimed that 80 dead bodies are lying in Jamia Hafsa. <b>Historical burqas of Lal Masjid</b>
In daily Jang, columnist Nazir Naji wrote that the historical burqa shall be placed in a museum for future generations to remember the golden period when a maulvi of a government mosque occupied illegal property. He turned the mosque into a fortress and then tried to impose his self-styled Islam on the 16 crores of Muslims in Pakistan. They pushed the children of others for martyrdom but tried to escape in a burqa when their time of martyrdom came.

<b>50 percent of imams in England are Pakistani</b>
Daily Jang, quoting from BBC report, wrote that only 6 percent of imams of mosques in England have English as their first language. 45 percent of imams have spent less than 5 years in England. 50 percent of the imams are from Pakistan, 20 percent from Bangladesh, and 15 percent from India. 66 percent speak Urdu and 51 percent deliver their Friday sermons in Urdu. Only 23 percent have lived in England for more than 10 years.

<b>Burqa couldn’t hide the walk</b>
In daily Jang, columnist Nazir Naji wrote that if Abdul Aziz’s escape in a burqa was successful then Ghazi Abdul Rashid would have followed his brother. Before them a bearded friend escaped from the security forces in a burqa. Two security officers got suspicious because the walk of that veiled lady was different. When they removed his veil they found Maulana Abdul Aziz.

<b><span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'>Supreme Court reinstates suspended Pakistan chief justice</span></b>

<b>ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, July 20 (Agencies) - <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday reinstated Pakistan's chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry , ruling that his suspension by President <!--emo&Confusedtupid--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pakee.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='pakee.gif' /><!--endemo--> General Pervez Musharraf was “illegal.”</span></b> Presiding judge of the 13-member full court, Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday, pronouncing the judgement said President Musharraf's order suspending Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry was “set aside as being illegal.” The court also invalidated the presidential reference against justice Iftikhar. While the reinstatement order was unanimous, the verdict about the invalidation of the presidential reference was a 10-3 majority decision. Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry's March 9 suspension had sparked protests by lawyers and opposition parties that grew into a powerful pro-democracy movement. <b><span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>As lawyers celebrated outside the court in Islamabad, Chaudhry's chief counsel Aitzaz Ahsan told reporters that the case alleging misconduct by Chaudhry had been “quashed.” “He has been restored and it is a victory for the entire nation.”</span> (First Posted @ 16:28 PST Updated @ 16:54 PST)</b>

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Kohat</b>, which has the oldest cantonment in the country, has come under attack more than a dozen times since 9/11. In many cases time bombs and rockets were used.

The terrorists once planted explosive devices on the route used by the commanding officer of the Pakistan Army, who is also the field commander of Waziristan Operations.

<b>Feeling insecure in tight security</b><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->ISLAMABAD: Unprecedented security measures have been taken in Islamabad in the wake of Lal Masjid operation and the Tuesday’s suicide blast that left about 18 dead and over 40 wounded.

All entrance points, roads and streets are being manned by the Rangers, Islamabad and Punjab Police and Elite Force but even then a sense of insecurity is still growing among citizens. The mosque operation, suicide blast and the recent wave of terror unleashed by extremists across the country have prompted people to think that Islamabad is no more secure. SSP Zafar Iqbal told Daily Times that three types of cordons had been put up in Islamabad - main, middle and interior. He said 70 pickets manned by 1,200 law enforcement personnel were set up in the city. Security personnel would work in two-three shifts and backup of a sufficient contingent would remain alert to deal with any emergency, he added.

<b>Some Chinese start to leave</b><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Karachi
<b>More than 80 people have returned to China from Karachi in the past two days </b>fearing that the law and order situation would worsen in the coming days, revealed Mujahid Zaman of Pakistan-China Foundation while talking to The News on Saturday.

Many people of Chinese orgin who had been residing in Karachi for over 16 years packed their bags and left for China after the recent bomb blast with the promise of returning when the situation stabilizes. Zaman said that the remaining families also feel extremely vulnerable and are refraining from stepping out of their homes.

<b>“They have also been issued strict orders by the Chinese Consulate to avoid visiting public places like shopping malls or hypermarkets,” </b>he added. However, during a meeting with a Chinese family and a visiting delegation at the Pakistan-China Cultural Center on Saturday, they refused to admit that they felt unsafe.

Tsui His Ping, Senior Vice President Pakistan China Foundation and the owner of a Chinese restaurant in DHA said he has been living in Karachi for the past 30 years and claimed that the past incidents would not make him change his mind and leave the city, which he now considers home.

Even though the petrified look on his face had another story to tell, Mr. and Mrs. Ping both claimed that these acts of terrorists were aimed at harming the cordial relations between China and Pakistan. Their 12-year-old grandson, Jackson Chee, however, was exceptionally chirpy throughout the conversation.

His parents practice dentistry in Saddar and have no plans of leaving Pakistan either. “I’m not going to leave this country. This is my birthplace,” he says. He also said he rarely felt being discriminated against and that Pakistanis are kind people. On being questioned what he enjoys most about being in Pakistan, he said “spicy food” with a glint in his eye.

<b> Al-Qaeda safe haven in Pakistan ‘troubling’: Bush </b><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Bush, in his taped weekly radio address, said the report’s assessment that al-Qaeda was gaining strength in the tribal region of Pakistan was “one of the most troubling.”

Musharraf must contend with a violent campaign by Islamic militants and porous mountain borders that make it hard to halt the flow of fighters, weapons, opium and other drugs.

Usual Lotastaani Claptrap!

<b><span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>The Lal Masjid saga : Amar Jaleel</span></b>

However, the following merits attention :

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>There is a clear absence of two basic constituents for the creation of Pakistan -- democracy and Islamic rule. One wonders if Pakistan was created at the cost of millions losing their lives, <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>so that certain elements could be rulers, who otherwise might have withered away in a highly competitive India, if the land remained un-partitioned?</span></b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Indeed Terroriststan was created to give Jinnah and his cohorts a chance to rule a Country. It is a fact had there been a normal Democratic Form of Government in an Un-Divided India then Jinnahand his breed of Satanic Morons could not get the post of "Official Dog Catcher" - if the post was to be nominated by the Parliament.
