I dont know if this psy -ops or not but Modi better get re-elected . After the way Karnataka was lost, if Gujarat goes INC way the nuke deal will go through. That is how high the stakes are. BJP and Modi should take care of the dissenters by the four ways that Chanakya ennunciated. What I dont understand with BJP folks is they talk of unity and how they ae different and back stab big time without caring for what will be the impact on themselves.
To add to their problems the RSS etc do back seat driving even when there is no majority. TO be BJP leader is a very difficlut job. Cant trust those who are with you in the party, cant trust those who are your supporters outside the party and have to fight with media, and INC. Its a wonder they take up the gauntlet and come to lead the party and the nation in its time of need. People accuse them of being Chankian but they are so docile that they dont use any of the knowledge attributed to them.

Manmohan's now trying to divert attention from his own inadequacies after failing miserably in his job. The question is not whether MMS is moron or joker but can BJP handle the dissension and win in Gujarat ? That is very important.

Even in 2004 I was assured that all is well and NDA will come back. Look what we got. I think all these small issues might snowball and bring down BJP unless they are studied and handled. Thats all I am saying.
If BJP looses Gujarat you can kiss India good bye. It will be self-colonized.
For starters BJP should make an effort for these dissenting leaders that they need to rally and support the party. They may have group and individual greivance but they cant pull a Mir Jafar in Gujarat. If they do there will be a price they have to pay.

EC's 'no Ministers' photos on Website' order irks BJP

Peeved at the Election Commission's steps in Gujarat, the BJP on Tuesday said it was adopting "double standards" and 'bias' in its attitude towards party-ruled Gujarat and Congress-run Himachal Pradesh.

The party's angry reaction came after the Election Commission issued instructions to the Gujarat Government to remove the photographs of State Ministers from its official Websites.

The party shot off a letter to the Election Commission saying "a biased attitude" towards Gujarat "may not augur well with the high standards of objectivity and impartiality which it should be perceived to have in the public eye for ensuring free and fair elections."

"We are at a loss to understand why such instructions have been given when Websites are not on par with advertisements in print and electronic media which caters to the general public," the letter said.

Moreover, the letter by party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said, "We are at a loss to understand why such instructions are being made Gujarat-specific."

"It would have been more appropriative if such instructions, if at all considered necessary, are made to have universal application," the letter said pointing out that no such instruction was given to Himachal Pradesh, where Assembly elections are held simultaneously.

The BJP pointed out that the Websites of the Central Government and its agencies and the PSUs carry the photographs of Central Ministers from Gujarat, but this usage was not restricted.

"If Ministers of State Government can make impact on the electorate through official Websites, can the Central Ministers not do the same? There seems to be no advice to them in this regard," it argued.

"We are constrained to observe that in various matters like transfer of senior officers, the Commission is perceived as having a double standard - rigidity in the case of Gujarat and laxity in the case of Himachal Pradesh," the BJP's letter to the EC noted.
