For me though (for Hindus in TN), today is tiruvadirai, aarudra darshanam. It's when Shiva got rid off andakaasuran. Woohoo.

Sorry, for not knowing whether to say "Happy tiruvadirai, aarudra darshanam" or "Happy tiruvadirai".



went to this site http://www.shaivam.org/siddhanta/fesaadhi.html to understand better. This left me even more confused. Indian languages in foreign scripts seem like a bigger challenge then Chenee missiles in Paki pants.
