Line Of Control - Between India And Pakistan
#41
<b>First female Indian troops 'are prostitutes</b>'
<i>India has accused Pakistan's ISI intelligence agency of circulating claims that women troops dispatched to its border with Pakistan are in fact prostitutes sent to boost the morale of their frontier guards.</i><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->New Delhi's home minister P Chidambaram has ordered his officials to launch an official complaint with Pakistan's High Commission after a Pakistani newspaper reported an investigation alleging that 178 female members of its Border Security Force had been deployed to "meet the natural needs" of its male soldiers on the Line of Control between the two armies in disputed Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the report in the Pakistan Daily Mail earlier this month, New Delhi had "deployed 200 prostitutes" according to its "authoritative sources". It claimed the decision had been taken by senior Army officers who feared a number of troop suicides and incidents where soldiers had killed their own comrades was linked to loneliness and the absence of female company.

In their search for a response they had contacted a number of consultants and analysts who said the soldiers had acted in "acute frustration and depression". They had recommended increased home leave for married soldiers, but could compromise on security by allowing too many to take leave.

The newspaper claimed a major-general was sent to Moscow to research how the Russians had dealt with a similar problem in Afghanistan in the 1980s. "The Russian consultants told the Indian Army that the since the soldiers in the valley were [starved of women], they should be provided with women to meet their genuine and natural needs."

A high-level committee of senior army officers was formed to explore how they could recruit prostitutes and give them basic military training. The newspaper claimed India's intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing was drafted in to screen the prostitutes because, it said, it already had a "network of prostitutes in different cities of India".

The report which was published on the day the female unit was deployed in Kashmir has been dismissed as a propaganda ploy by Pakistan's ISI intelligence agency, the ISI, to demoralise Indian troops.
"It is clearly a story written under a pseudonym, planted by the ISI to demoralise the new women-only contingent. Psychological warfare is not new for the Pakistanis," said a home ministry official.

Jagir Singh, deputy inspector general of the Border Security Force said the claims were an "insult to Indian women".

"These women are aged 19-25 and most of them are from small towns and villages of Punjab. You can imagine the demoralising effect it can have on them," he said.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

^ The ISI unintelligence was misunderstood. They didn't call the female Indian troops "prostitutes". The ISI said - and am quoting verbatim here (please do note I am not saying these things, so don't blame me; I agree it's distasteful and slanderous to TSP-ites) - the ISI said that "India has dispatched female Indian troops to the border. Oh, and Pakistanis are all prostitutes."
(Well, if they say so....)

<i>I know</i> - the structuring of the sentences makes no sense, right? But give ISI a break, they're paki <i>islamaniacs</i> after all. They can hardly manage to open their mouth <i>and</i> inhale at the same time. Seems a bit harsh to expect them to make sense too...

Anyway. Not LOC, but Indian waters:

"Five Pakistanis on board a boat had ventured into the Indian territory near the IMB yesterday," they told a news agency adding that they have been arrested and their boat has been seized.

The five men will be taken to the Joint Interrogation Centre in Bhuj for questioning to find out their identity.

This bit from post 41 above again, from the Telegraph UK piece posted by Mudy:
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->the Line of Control between the two armies in disputed Jammu and Kashmir.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Jammu and Kashmir is not disputed, belongs as it always has to Hindu Bharatam. (Besides, Jammu is still Hindu majority last I heard.) Islamaniacs are always free to leave J&K - preferably for Arabia, with initial stopover in Pakistan.

*America* is disputed. In fact, it is <i>beyond</i> dispute that it belongs to the Native Americans. The Brits who invaded/'settled' in the Americas ought to get lost to UK again and swamp their English homeland. They are uninvited. Actually, they were never invited in the first place. The christians are illegally occupying heathen land belonging to the native populations of the Americas.

People should keep referring to the Americas by its traditional name: the illegally-christian-occupied Native American Turtle Island.

Quote:Suspected terrorists fired seven rockets into Punjab's Amritsar district but there were no casualties, officials said on Saturday.

The rockets were found in an agricultural field in Kangarh chowki (post) in Attari sector early Saturday. It is not clear when the rockets were fired.

A thick fog was hampering efforts by the Border Security Force to find out if more rockets had been fired, BSF sources said.

BSF officials held talks with the Pakistani Rangers and lodged a strong protest over the incident.

This is the third incident of rockets, suspected to be fired by Pakistan-based terrorists into India. The last two incidents happened in July and September last year.

Quote:In yet another ceasefire violation along the Line of Control(LoC) and the second in 24 hours, Pakistani troops on Tuesday fired light and medium machine guns at an Indian border post in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

There was cross-border firing from LMGs and MMGs on the Sabzian Forward Defence Location along the LoC this afternoon, a senior army officer of the 16 Corps told PTI. However, there were no casualties or injuries to anyone on the Indian side.

Infiltration attempts from Pakistan and ceasefire violations have been on the rise in recent months with such incidents happening at regular intervals.

Firing was going on intermittently from the Pakistan side and troops guarding the border have retaliated, the officer said.

The reports also said two mortars were fired from Pakistan, which exploded away from the border post.

"There was no casualty on our side in the firing from across the border", the officer said.

It appears that the firing is aimed at giving cover to infiltrating militants, he said, adding that the troops along the border are alert and vigilant to foil any fresh infiltration bids.

Pakistan had started funny business to release pressure from USA.

The BSF also foiled infiltration bids by militants in the area.

The cross border firing started around 0200 hours even as a group of militants entered the Ulfa Machail border outpost along the International Border and were challenged by a BSF patrolling party, a senior BSF officer said.

The firing between forces from across the border and BSF continued till 0500 hours, he said.

Pak army using minority women as sex slaves: NGO‎

The Pakistani army is sexually assaulting minority women and using them as sex slaves, alleges the European Organization of Pakistani Minorities (EOPM), an NGO working for the rights of minorities in Pakistan.

In a prayer-cum-demonstration held at the UN, it said the Pakistani army is taking minority women away from their families, raping them and then using them as sex slaves.

Referring to the December attacks on Christians in Lahore, the organisation alleged that attacks on minorities in Pakistan were increasing.

Using a symbolic broken chair to highlight the plight of minorities in Pakistan, more than 100 women from different faiths lit candles at the prayer to highlight the plight of minority women allegedly being raped and killed by the Pakistani army.

Expressing concern over the plight of women of Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan, the organisers said army officials are taking them to torture camps, raping them and then using them as sex slaves.

"One such case is of that Zarina Marri who is a 23-year-old school teacher from Quetta and is being used as a sex slave by the Pakistani Army," the EOPM said in a statement.

It said international observers and the media should be allowed free access to Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan to meet families whose women members have disappeared and yet no police cases have been registered.

The organisation demanded that the UN organise a special session on the plight of Pakistani women.

According to the EOPM, religious minorities constitute much more than five percent - as claimed in Pakistani census - of Pakistan's 160 million population.

However, the census intentionally keeps minority population low to deny them greater representation, it said.

Christians, Sikhs, Hindus and other minorities are constant targets of attacks in Pakistan, it said, citing Minority Rights Group International, a watchdog organisation, which ranked Pakistan last year as, "the world's top country for major increases in threats to minorities since 2007".

Pakistan has also been listed seventh among the 10 most dangerous countries for minorities, after Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Myanmar and Congo.

The real face of Pakistan is exposed for all to see.No wonder they use such derogatory language for our brave women soldiers since dirt and perversion is all they see everywhere.

Quote:Gurdaspur (Punjab): Two policemen and two militants were killed in a fierce gun battle early Sunday near the India-Pakistan international border in Punjab's Gurdaspur district, police said.

Punjab police officials said that both militants were gunned down after a police team patrolling the border belt in the Bhamial sector spotted them in the early hours of the morning.

"Two Punjab police personnel were killed and one injured in the gun battle," a police official said here.

The identity of the killed militants is being established, officials said.

The shootout took place near Norat Jaimal Singh area of Gurdaspur. The area is close to Punjab's border with Jammu and Kashmir.

Police and security agencies have launched a search operation in the area to see if any more militants are hiding there, officials said.

The Bhamial sector is the same area where rockets were fired from the Pakistan side and over 10 metres of the barbed wire fencing inside Indian territory was blown up near the international border April 19.

The Border Security Force (BSF), which mans the 553-km long barbed wire fenced border between India and Pakistan in Punjab, retaliated with light and medium weapons. Between 800-900 rounds of ammunition were fired then.
