I am very disappointed with the way we run cricket business in India. I have following gripes:
1) Team selectors fu*ked up. What is Virender Sehwag doing in the team anyway?
2) Sports media was tauting Munaf Patel as the paceman and the guy throws around paltry 130km/hour. Is that a pace? I think sports media is dorky. Both Agarkar and Zaheer were touching around 144km/hour. Irfanâs pace is even lower than Munafâs pace.
3) Dinesh Karthik should have been in the team. He is very balanced player. But the idiotic selectors have an IQ of a 4 year old.
4) Agarkar and Zaheer are OK as opening bowlers till we can come up with someone who can exceed 144km/hour. But we need to rotate between RP Singh, SriSanth, Irfan and Munaf.
5) Sachin should retire honorably. I recommend Sehwagâs immediate dismissal from the team. He is out of form. He should play in the Ranji trophy if he really loves cricket that much.
6) I think Ganguly and Dravid should go as openers to give India a calm and reliable start. Dinesh Karthik is very talented. He should come next. Utthappa is not reliable. But he is young so he can improve. We can bring in some new youngsters and can do some rotation with Utthapa.

In my opinion, Bob Woolmer had a very difficult task at hand. Can you imagine dealing with animals like Sohaib Akhtar on a regular basis?

Mostly agree with u, except that Agarkar should be replaced with Sreesanth. Agarkar is a horrible bowler. Check the commentary log of every one of his matches, he will give atleast one 4-ball per over releasing the pressure completely. Zaheer was also similar, but has marginally improved the last 6 months.
Also someone should break harbhajan's hand/leg so that Ramesh Powar can be brought to this worldcup.
