It is suspected that the bombs used in a series of attacks across the country Wednesday were time bombs.
RAB and Police sources said every single exploded bomb, covered with red tapes was run by two pencil batteries. Time circuit was connected with each bomb. A piece of each item of register, capacitor and LED was in the time circuit.
LED had connection with the circuit. The cable of one edge of LED was connected with the other edge of the switch. The bombs exploded within 20 to 30 seconds after pressing the switch.
It is learnt that this type of bombs can't be exploded using remote controls. RAB suspected one person each had a key role in every blast. Instead of splinters, husk of grains and sawdust were used in the bombs.
