it doesn't matter much.see what we lose :
1)some callboy jobs(call center are not BPO)
2)some forex exchange...very minimal amount
so we didn't lost anything in technology except some jobs.
Its better that now indian should focus on product rather than services and ITES.
Solution and products are future.Services market is so so so sooo small compared to software product market.
We should aim for that BIG PIE(some 200 billion pie)! instead of crying for such junk service jobs.

Believe me Viren, this ITES,call center is all crap.The real GOLD is product business.West companies concentrate on this product PIE and outsource the junk to india so that they can concentrate on core competancy i.e.making product.
product means for example Adobe photoshop,MS windows,MS office,Coreldraw,3D-Max, aerospace softwares,etc etc etc. Its very very BIG PIE.Software outsourcing contracts that indians firms get are not REAL big thing.
<b> Its the strategy of global companies to keep indian corps. busy in this dream on silver while they research,code,test and sell big complex softwares which is very BIG market,the real gold. </b>
Hopefully,some indian corps are coming out of this IT-BPO dream and working towards product business for example i-flex's banking software is best in the world <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo--> .
