Decennial celebrations at Infant Jesus shrine tomorrow

MANGALORE: Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte, will observe its decennial celebrations and the annual feast of the Infant Jesus on Thursday, according to Nelson Pinto, priest in-charge of the shrine.
Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday he said the festive mass of the Infant Jesus will be made available live on the Internet at 6 p.m. People can log on to www.infantjesusmangalore.com to see the programme. Robert Miranda, Bishop of Gulbarga Diocese, will be the main celebrant.
The feast day masses will be held in Konkani, Malayalam, English and Kannada from 6 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The Novena prayer service for non-Christians will be held in Kannada at 1.30 p.m.
Prior to this a special prayer for non-Christians has been arranged in Kannada at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Hence there will not be Konkani mass at 6 p.m. tomorrow. Alwin Sequeira, Assistant Superior, and David Fernandes, secretary, Carmel family, were present.
