Quilon (Kollam): Long term personal secratary of Gandhiji recollects that Gandhiji did not utter "He Ram" at the time of death.

He came to attend Martyr's day at Mahatma Cultural Center.

Gandhiji was not capable of uttering even a single word when he was shot at by Godse. He was dead instantly.

Venkitta Kalyanam who was standing behind Gandhiji recollects that his specs and slippers were thrown to far off places when Gandhiji fell down.
