What prevented them to speed up and complete the investigation and start prosecution, after filing the charge sheet? Do you mean to say that out of fear of 10 Jan path, Vajpayee ji and other were unable to proceed in the matter?
The Hinduja brothers faced the Court on their own and ultimately were allowed to go out of the nation as there was no sufficient ground for their continued confinement in India. The Govt was forced to allow them free movement at the directions of the High Court. Therefore. It is obvious that there is nothing in the case which will stand judicial scrutiny for an ultimate conviction of anyone in this case. Now you will say, why it has been kept alive, the answer to this is that it is an instrument in the hands of some political leaders, to be used whenever they like to use it to divert public attention from more pressing problems facing the nation.</b>
