Well L Srini why blame Modi?, in reality almost every major political leader (including Bush) nowadays refers to Islam as a peaceful religion, in reality it is the majority of Hindus who seem to think so and Modi just reflects their thinking, as someone said before why blame MMS and others, blame the people who elected them, blame the people who despite being over 70% of the country have been living in slavery since August 15, 1947 and seem to prefer living that way.

Actually I was shocked that Modi, the future/hope of Hindus, would say something this ignorant. It is one thing for Spineless or the italian or Dubya to say this. Dubya's ignorance is understandable. And we know what the psecs will say. For Modi to say something like this means he is either really ignorant, or is trying to reach out to the media for brownie points. I did not like either of the two possibilities.
