Fly on the wall: By Harish Gupta
Gone are the days when Natwar Singhâs G-4 included Jaswant Singh (BJP), Amar Singh (SP) and Digvijay Singh (JD-U). Now he is going places and claims that G-4 is now G-8, with Yashwant Sinha, P.G. Narayanan (AIADMK), Sharad Pawar (NCP) and others. Recently, 10 AIADMK MPs led by P.G. Narayanan met Natwar Singh to express their solidarity with him. While thanking him, Natwar Singh assured that he would soon be paying a courtesy call to Jayalalithaa in Chennai.
Natwar Singh indicated to the AIADMK MPs that he would reveal all the relevant aspects about the oil for food scam by holding a press conference. He may name some of the beneficiaries, who hold high positions in the Congress. The G-8 is also targeting P. Chidambaram. It was because of this very reason that in the Rajya Sabha Amar Singh raised the issue of the Vedanta book which allegedly contains references linking Chidambaram with Sterlite, the majority shareholder of BALCO.
