Rajesh, The SSS article is clearly speculative in nature and is not intended to be the last word on the subject. It is part of the process by which we who belong to the Indic civilization regain a sense of perspective and definition of who we are independently of external influences.
I regard Balagangadhara as one of the seminal thinkers of our age and if I was in the Nobel committee and there was a Nobel for Philosophy he would be at the top of my list. He spends a considerable amount of time pondeering over these issues and developing a framework in which to discuss them. The other person i have seen who is capable of approaching such an analysis is Rajiv malhotra.
