If my memory serves right, some members of Mallika Sarabhai troupe complained about some payment issues and filed a PIL Sarabhai and her agent. Of course, since it was Gujarat where even a sparrow can't flap it's wings without alerting Modi HQ, it had to be a "communal facists plot by the fundamentalist saffronistas" against her <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The two had claimed that they along with others were cheated by Mallika and her agent who had promised to help them immigration to US posing by taking them as members of her “cultural troupe”.

Shah filed a complaint after their trip to the US and Brazil got cancelled. She claimed that Sarabhai did not refund money.

Hey, but what the hell, she's just been recently granted some lakhs by Govt of India to do some cultural documentary on Gujarat.
Perhaps she'll help bail out Pallekonda and return the good deed.
