Seems like she had a better grasp on the reality.
Even VHP continued to remain quite upset with BJP.
So, does that mean RSS' coming out in full force to support BJP was an experiment? I had assumed that to mean that all hindutva forces were fully united behind BJP, but now I have my doubts. Were these elections meant to decide within the RSS parivar whether BJP still represented hindus at large?
Uma Bharati and VHP have been trying to have a new hindu political outfit with RSS' blessings. It seems likely that such voices will become shriller.
It seems that BJP took upper caste votes for granted just as it has been taking hindutva votes for granted. Same old story of losing the "dhruva" for the "adhruva".
Vajpayee is almost retired. And a poor performance in an election managed by Advani's protege Naidu puts another dent in Advani's already dented image.
BJP is surely going to see some turmoil.
Uma Bharati and VHP have a stronger case now.

VHP and Uma Bharti groups etc should join forces with BSP and create Hindu Vote bank and let BJP have tactical understanding with this group.
My question to experts over here. Is this the begining of a new Hindu era, the ultimate nightmare of Commies, Pusedos and Islamists and evangelists ?
Just the fact that there can be another Hindu alternative to BJP's short , narrow vision is very good news : The best being the initiative of greter Hindu Samaj coming from the so called Dalit segament of our society. Over all good omen for bright future.
