Kaushal,
Thanks for the reply. I think you should change the font color and background of that page. <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Agree with this. There are probably many under-currents which make up our complex society of today. Although I am hardly qualified to get into this topic what I have noticed is that somehow a culture of minorytism is promoted in our society - one where each and every person of the society feels alien to his surroundings - always struggling and fighting - orwellian(?) (from George Orwell). Some examples (very ad hoc) ..
1. xfering cases out of Guj - reinforcing the view that one cannot get justice in ones own state
2. minority institutes (linguistic, religion, etc) enjoying benefits. I read somewhere Ramakrishna missions claim minority status to get some privelege ?
3. Just read this... Who is left ?
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->"It Ramayana defends the autocratic rule of kings against the people, their imperial expansion by invading other weak kingdoms, exploitation of the poor by the rich, oppression of lower castes, aggression of civilized non-tribal communities against primitive tribal communities, exploitation of women, superstitious beliefs against rational thinking, fathers' domination over sons, elder brother's superiority over younger brothers and so on," the author says.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
from here.. http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/181_949892,0006.htm
4. Sundry other institutions (NGO types) that thrive on problematizing (?) a day-to-day aspect of life and just thrive on that .. Child abuse is a social problem, wife burning is hindu problem and on and on..
5. Reservations of all types - brahmins are now demanding reservations in Rajasthan because they are a minority ?
I have never been able to understand this or even name it properly, but it sure is breaks heart to see this state .. Is there no end to this .. <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
