After Mohammed Shadab, another youth, who was allegedly pressurised by the police to turn informer has been taken into custody for questioning in connection with the twin blasts of last to last Saturday.
Mohammed Rayees was taken into custody by the Special Task Force personnel in Secunderabad on Friday night when he was returning home from work.
Shadab and Rayees had had told a Press conference in June last year that police were constantly harassing them to turn informers and help them in nabbing those involved in the Mecca Masjid blast.
<b>Shadab has been taken into custody and now Rayees has also been picked up, creating tension in Saeedabad and Malakpet areas of the old city.</b>
<b>Rayees was an eyewitness to the killing of Mujahid Saleem by Gujarat police officer Narender Amin in October 2004 in Hyderabad. </b>
His family claimed that due to the constant pressure from the police, Rayees had lost his previous job and his engagement to a girl was also broken.
Police picked up many other people from different parts of old city for questioning.
