You might remember the hysteria in a case of Gujarat, look what's happening in marxists bastion of Bengal. Not a peep from our regular "human rights" groups
HC directs CBI to investigate Rizwanur's death
another one, from Delhi:
Delhi shootout: Relatives seek death penalty for convicted cops
Meanwhile, Modi ups the ante on Marxists:

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The BJP has rubbed salt into the Leftâs Nandigram wounds with a propaganda film that paints Narendra Modiâs Gujarat as a peaceful, industrially thriving state and contrasts it with a violent, hartal-cursed Bengal.
The film highlights the unrest in Bengal over industrialisation and special economic zones, implying obliquely that Buddhadeb Bhattacharjeeâs state is more violence-prone than riot-tainted Gujarat.
It appears to scoff at Bhattacharjeeâs drive for industry by saying Bengalâs small industries are dying and that the state accounts for 60 per cent of the mandays lost to strikes in India. (See chart)
The film quotes Mukesh Ambani as saying: âWe have lost not even one manday in Gujarat.â
Bengal labour secretary Subesh Das said the figure of 60 per cent was âan exaggerationâ.
But the film, screened for the media at the BJP headquarters here today, has another punch to land. Ratan Tata, who has faced mob resistance to his small-car plant in Singur, is quoted as saying: âGujarat is the most progressive state.â
Congress-ruled Maharashtra, too, is shown in poor light but the film is harshest about Bengal, the CPMâs vaunted âoasis of peaceâ.
