First of all, we do respect for people who serve the country and in that sense your contribution has not gone un-noticed or unappreciated.
It's a pity that we could not convenience each other of our world outlook and do have a diameterically opposite position on certain issues. And we'll have to agree to disagree on it and leave it that.
We have had an exchange on this Naxal issue too in past. Agreeded that it had its roots in some social and economic injustices but every fact out there today tells us that this movement is anything but organized desi mafia terrorizing innocents. Besides if you sympathize with every oppressed person who picks up arms do we not have the right to ask if you are part of the solution or problem? When civilized and educated people can't see in clear daylight what's obivious to even a village bumpkin even at night, it does not matter if that discussion is being held in some 5 star round-table conference or internet forum or tea-shop or bar or local village chaupal?
Let's leave it at that. You do have my best wishes in any future assigments and I hope that some of exchanges here, however trivial, can play some part in making India make a better place for every Indian.
