Was watching a program on TIMES NOW channel with a BJP guy (Prasad ?) and Mehbooba Mufti. Some observations
- the BJP guy was totally horrible as far as being on TV is concerned
Mehbooba's claims were pretty interesting.
- she claimed that initially this was not communal
- she claimed the separatists are behaving very well
- she claimed Jammu people have been killing muslims and hindus who are not supporting protests.
- she said thousands of kar sevaks are coming into Jammu to take part in protests ?
- she equated SASB land issue with how only a limited number of people are allowed to Gangotri
- and this is the best part, she threatened on national TV -> <b>dont loose kashmir for 800 kannals of land</b>
The journalist (cant remember his name, i think his name is Arnab ?) generally was being all macho with BJP fellow and looked petrified when Mehboobaji started speaking. He tried to use the bimbo in red-dress but Mehbooba shut her up by saying -> listen to me or dont call me. Bimbo shut up for good.
The male journo had one golden moment. Mehbooba (just like Omar) employs this very basic debating technique of keeping on iterating the same nonsense over and over until the other guy gives up. This journo allowed Mehboobaji to keep win every time - but this one time - he kept on asking Mehbooba, no Mehbooba, No Mehbooba Mufti, no i heard you every time when you talked about your stuff, now answer one simple question -> will you condemn Syed Geelani or not. She had to stop, journo's point was made and Mehbooba went on about how Geelani was an angel etc..
