Consequent upon the signing of the Indo-US Nuclear Deal and the ever increasing interaction between the two countries on Defense related matters, perhaps a new scenario is emerging in South Asia. The developments particularly during the Bush era have very far reaching consequences.
The shifting of importance of Pakistan in the mind of the US policy makers in recent years towards India has been gradual but well thought after. I am of the view that the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the cold war has been one of the reasons for this change in heart. However, we simply cannot ignore the economic growth of India as an important factor which has lead to this changed status.
* : In view of the above developments , the future bilateral relations between India and Pakistan will have to be conducted in a different background and the limitations on both sides will also be different. The China factor is expected to be more prominent in times of any future crisis.
On the Indian side, with the elections expected in a few months it is unlikely that any major shift in policy will take place in the next few months.

ravish Ji :
I feel that the Indian Political Leadership - the Kaangress Kammunist Kriminal Klan along with their so-called Hindu Liberal Secular Wagah Kandle Kissers - is either clueless or unwilling to consider that Indiaâs Interests are Paramount rather than âWe want to be known as the Huggy Huggy Kissy Kissy Good Guysâ.
* : I base my thinking on the following three - though there are many more - important points :
1. Four the last Decade or so - and I am sure even earlier - Pakistanis in their Hundreds of Thousands visit India of course with a Valid India Visit Visa. I trust you are aware that the Indian High Commission in Islamabad is issuing over Ten thousand India Visit Visas every month to the Pakistanis.
Of these Visitors Pakistanis in their Tens of Thousands do not return to Pakistan and continue to remain in India. As such the ISI does not have to send âInfiltratorsâ in an Illegal Manner when the Indian Government is happy to have Tens of Thousands of Pakistanis remain in India Illegally and I am sure a sizable number of them will eventually become âISI Operativesâ
I would request your views on this development.
2. The Cross-Border trade with Pakistan especially in Jammu and Kashmir where the âVisa Systemâ has been dispensed with will lead to further âTerrorismâ.
3. The Pakistani Industries - in over Thirty Sectors - has been destroyed by Chinese Imports. The Pakistani People will not utter a âDickie Birdâ about this âDestructionâ of Pakistan Industry by Indian Industry.
As such these Imports from India will further exacerbate the situation wherein the Indian Goods will Destroy, maybe, Ten corresponding Pakistani Industries leading to, I am sure, even more hatred for India.
I would therefore request your views on this development too.
