“Union home minister for state, Shriprakash Jaiswal, faced the maximum brunt of the ire. After visiting Oberoi, he spoke to mediapersons and announced that the government will not tolerate terrorism. However, the people listening in gave vent to their disgust.
“Tum jaise log minister hain, isi liye yeh din dekhna pad raha hai (We saw this day because a person like you is a minister),” said a bystander. He was joined by others and they chorused slogan “Bharat Mata ki jai.” Jaiswal, however, did not pay attention towards the remark.”
